The silver flying sword moved through the night sky like a streak of moonlight.
Cold wind rushed past them, but none of it touched Damian, Violetta, or Vulkara.
A faint silver barrier surrounded the sword, blocking the wind and keeping them steady.
For a while, no one spoke.
Damian quietly stood behind Elder Selvara, still thinking about the terrifying system screen he had just seen.
Then suddenly, Elder Selvara spoke. "Damian."
Damian imdiately straightened his back. "Yes, Elder?"
Selvara did not look back. "Since you are now my disciple, I should understand your identity better."
Damian’s heart tightened slightly because this was one of the most troubleso questions for him. After all, his current identity was not exactly clean.
He was a rogue cultivator, a forr useless young master, a man with suspicious treasures, a bunch of pills, and two beautiful female disciples.
No matter how he explained it, sothing would sound strange.
Damian opened his mouth, already preparing to make up sothing reasonable, but before he could say a single word, Selvara raised one hand. "Silence."
Damian froze. "Huh?"
Selvara’s silver eyes glanced back slightly. "I will ask my grand-disciples instead."
Violetta and Vulkara both stiffened.
Damian’s face changed. "Wait, Elder, isn’t that a little..."
Selvara ignored him completely. "Both of you, introduce yourselves. Then tell whatever you know about your master."
Her voice remained calm, but there was no room to refuse. "His personality, habits, good points, bad points, and anything suspicious."
Damian’s mouth twitched. "Elder, that sounds very targeted."
Selvara said flatly, "It is."
Vulkara imdiately looked at Damian, and a grin slowly appeared on her face.
Damian’s heart sank. "Red-haired rat, don’t you dare."
Vulkara’s eyebrow twitched. "Who the hell are you calling a rat?"
Selvara looked at her. "Speak."
Vulkara straightened slightly. "I’m Vulkara, his second disciple. As for Master Damian..."
She glanced at Damian and snorted. "He’s strong, shaless, annoying, and likes acting mysterious. He gives out treasures like they are candy, but only to beautiful won."
Damian coughed. "That’s called strategic investnt."
Vulkara ignored him. "He also visits brothels and says it is ’business.’"
Selvara’s gaze beca colder.
Damian imdiately raised both hands. "It really was business."
Vulkara sneered. "Sure. Business."
Violetta gently stepped forward before the situation beca worse. "I am Violetta, Master’s first disciple."
Her voice was calm and elegant. "Master is not a bad person. He saved when I had nothing, gave pills, cultivation arts, and a path to live again."
Selvara’s eyes softened slightly, but only a little.
Violetta continued, "He may seem casual, shaless, and sotis improper, but he treats those under him very well."
Vulkara muttered, "And he is absolutely a pervert."
Damian glared at her. "You traitor."
Violetta paused for a mont before softly saying, "Master does love beauty."
Damian almost choked.
But Violetta quickly added, "However, I would not call him a simp."
Vulkara looked at her strangely. "You wouldn’t?"
Violetta smiled faintly. "No. A simp loses himself because of beauty. Master appreciates beauty, but he does not lose his judgnt."
She glanced at Damian with a gentle expression. "He is a pervert, but in a surprisingly responsible way."
Damian’s face froze.
Sohow, that sounded like praise and insult at the sa ti.
Selvara silently looked at Damian for several breaths.
Then she sighed faintly. "I see."
Damian forced a smile. "Elder, I can explain."
Selvara looked forward again. "No need."
That answer made Damian feel even worse.
Vulkara imdiately laughed under her breath.
Damian looked at the night sky and sighed. "Damn it... my reputation is already dead before I even reach the sect."
---
After flying through the night for a long ti, the darkness ahead finally began to change.
At first, Damian only saw distant mountain shadows beneath the clouds.
But as Elder Selvara’s flying sword moved closer, those shadows slowly turned into towering peaks that pierced straight through the sky.
Silver sword light flowed between the mountains like rivers of moonlight.
Countless flying swords moved in every direction, carrying disciples, elders, and strange glowing cargo across the air.
So mountain peaks were covered in bamboo forests.
So were filled with sword monunts.
So had waterfalls that fell from the clouds, glowing faintly with spiritual energy.
The entire place felt ancient, powerful, and ridiculously rich.
Damian stared at the scene in silence.
Violetta’s purple eyes also widened slightly, and even her usually calm expression showed clear amazent.
Vulkara, on the other hand, looked completely stunned.
"Damn..." she muttered. "This is the Heavenly Sword Sect?"
Damian nodded slowly. "Yeah... this is definitely not a small city anymore."
Compared to the city they had just left, this place felt like another world.
The spiritual energy here was so dense that Damian could feel his ridians becoming active just by breathing.
Even Violetta and Vulkara seed to notice it.
Vulkara clenched her fists slightly. "The spiritual energy here is insane."
Violetta softly nodded. "If we cultivate here, our progress should beco much faster."
Elder Selvara stood at the front of the flying sword with her hands behind her back. "This is only the outer region of the sect."
The three of them instantly beca silent.
Only the outer region?
Damian’s mouth twitched slightly.
What the hell did the inner region look like, then?
Soon, the silver flying sword descended toward a tall, quiet mountain peak covered in bamboo forests and sword stones.
The peak was peaceful, but the sword aura hidden within it was extrely sharp.
"This is my mountain peak," Selvara said calmly.
The flying sword landed in front of a large courtyard built beside a cliff.
Damian, Violetta, and Vulkara stepped down carefully.
Selvara turned toward them. "For now, you will stay on this mountain peak."
Then her gaze moved to Violetta and Vulkara. "As for you two, before thinking about going outside or touching sect matters, reach the Foundation Establishnt Realm first."
Vulkara froze. "Foundation Establishnt..."
Selvara’s voice remained calm. "This sect is not a place where weakness is protected forever. I will explain the rules for disciples later. Until then, cultivate quietly and do not cause trouble."
Damian glanced at Vulkara.
Vulkara imdiately glared back. "Why are you looking at ?"
Damian smiled faintly. "No reason."
Violetta bowed gently. "We understand, Elder Selvara."
Selvara nodded slightly, then looked at Damian.
"And you," she said calmly. "From tomorrow onward, your training begins."
Damian’s smile stiffened.
For so reason, he suddenly felt that his peaceful days were truly over.
