The mont Rosalina’s cold voice rang out, the big ti-rewinding purple wolf froze right in his tracks.
He had co here looking for easy food, even though his instincts told him to stay away.
More than a thousand normal purple wolves followed closely behind him.
He thought these two humans would be simple prey.
But the second he stepped out of the trees and saw the clearing, his whole body went stiff with fear.
Twenty of his strongest pack mates lay dead around the campfire.
Each one had been killed with just one clean strike, like swatting mosquitoes.
And now the two humans were casually eating their at, flipping the chunks over the fire as if it was no big deal.
His scalp tingled with terror. He wanted to turn and run.
But before he could take even one step back, the human girl’s voice cut through the air again, sharp and full of bloodlust.
It hit him like a heavy punch. He couldn’t move. His legs felt locked in place.
His eyes darted to the front. The girl sat on a log, poking the fire with a stick.
Her mate sat across from her, looking just as calm and dangerous.
Both of them gave off the sa scary energy.
It felt like they could end his life in the blink of an eye, without even trying hard.
There was nothing he could do. No fight, no flight.
So the big wolf lowered his huge head in surrender. He accepted his fate.
Slowly, he walked forward toward the human pair.
The thousand normal wolves behind him followed quietly, their paws soft on the grass.
They stopped a short distance away from the campfire.
Then the big wolf knelt down on his front legs, lowered his head even more, and let out a low, respectful growl.
Howl!!
Julius looked at the big purple wolf kneeling in front of them.
Behind him, at least a thousand smaller wolves had also dropped down and lowered their heads in surrender.
The whole pack looked like they were waiting for their punishnt.
He turned back to Rosalina, who was now sitting right beside him on the log.
"What are you going to do with these guys?" he asked with a small smile.
Rosalina shifted closer and gently brushed his hair with her fingers.
"Well... I have a use for them," she said softly.
Julius raised an eyebrow. "But we can’t take them alive with us right now, can we?"
The mont those words left his mouth, the big wolf flinched hard.
His huge body shook a little, but he still didn’t dare lift his head even an inch.
Rosalina giggled and shook her head.
"Nah, I can take them. I have a spell from the Taming Path. It lets bring them with without any problem. And who knows? They might even evolve later!"
She turned toward the big wolf and spoke clearly.
"This one has already passed the second stage. He evolved from a Forest beast into a Fierce Beast."
"Beasts have five stages in total. A Fierce Beast is as strong as soone in the early Conversion Stage of ntal ascension."
"If they evolve again, they will reach the Myriad Stage. After that cos Supre Beast, and then Celestial Beast. A Celestial Beast is as strong as an Infinite Core expert."
The big wolf stayed perfectly still, listening to every word.
His ears twitched slightly when she ntioned evolution.
Even the thousand smaller wolves behind him seed to perk up a little, as if they could understand her.
Julius took another bite of his wolf at and chewed thoughtfully.
"Not bad. A whole pack of evolving wolves could be pretty useful. But are you sure the spell can handle this many?"
Rosalina gave him a confident grin and leaned her head on his shoulder.
"Trust , babe. I’ve got this."
She stood up slowly and walked a few steps toward the kneeling big wolf.
The firelight danced across her face as she raised one hand. Soft purple light began to glow around her fingers.
"Infinite Cast!" Rosalina muttered.
A giant purple circle suddenly appeared on the ground around her.
It glowed brightly and rose into the air like a huge glowing roof.
The circle spread out fast and covered all the kneeling wolves, from the big leader all the way to the thousand smaller ones behind him.
"Art of Absolute Dominance!"
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
The glowing circle dropped down like a giant net and swallowed every wolf inside it.
"Howl... Howl... Howl... Howl..."
All the wolves let out low, long howls at the sa ti.
A bright purple star mark slowly appeared on each of their foreheads, the clear sign of enslavent.
"All done!" Rosalina muttered. She took a deep breath and looked a little tired.
She checked the back of her left hand.
A beautiful purple star tattoo had appeared there too. She lifted her hand and showed it to Julius with a proud smile.
"You see this?"
"Yeah?" Julius nodded, looking a bit confused.
"They will all be stored right here," she said, tapping the tattoo.
"No matter how many there are, as long as I can handle the limit, they will obey completely. I can call them out or command them anyti I want."
Julius smiled fondly at her. "You are really sothing else, you know that?"
He paused for a second as a new thought ca to him. "But why didn’t you ta the others before?"
Rosalina shrugged. "I couldn’t. Before I use this spell, I need them to surrender first."
"But those wolves kept attacking even after we killed so many. They never gave up, so I had no chance to ta them."
"Oh?" Julius made a small ’O’ shape with his mouth and nodded. He stood up and walked over to her.
He looked at the now tad wolves. All of them were still kneeling quietly, their purple star marks shining softly in the firelight.
"But you said you can evolve them, right?" he asked, turning back to Rosalina with curious eyes.
