"Infinite space!" The voice echoed through the room.
A powerful suction force appeared with it, strong enough to pull anything inside.
But the force only reached toward Rosalina. Her clothes fluttered wildly.
The white cloth wrapped around her body started to loosen from the pull.
She hurried to grab it and hold it tight, then looked back over her shoulder. "Julius...?" she murmured, her voice shaky.
He stood there, holding a disk-like artifact in his hand. The strong suction force ca from it.
"If a man willingly hands over his woman," Julius spoke, his gaze burning with intensity.
He pulled harder on the disk, and Rosalina began to slide backward toward him. "He is not a man!"
"Nooo!!" Miasma scread. She felt the strong pull from the disk right away.
She could tell it was a great treasure. When Julius had said "infinite space," she knew exactly what it was.
Infinite space was a vast realm that space path spell casters could use once they reached the void core stage.
The space was so huge that no one could find their way without leaving a personal mark.
Many used it as a safe hiding place or to create escape treasures. But it could also trap enemies.
Still, spell casters who had passed the fourth trial or higher could not be held inside for long, the runes on their bodies made it almost impossible unless they followed the space path.
Miasma knew all of this well. Her earlier confidence vanished in an instant. She moved her hands quickly.
She pulled out a blue circle from her palms, like stretching a rope. "Infinite cast."
Sparks lit up inside the circle as it grew wider. She pushed it forward toward Rosalina.
"Ti reversing heaven pull!!!" The ti path runes on her body began to glow.
The circle ford completely. Her eyes turned bloodshot as she moved it closer.
The surroundings started to shift, just by a few seconds. "You won’t escape!!!" she roared.
"Shut up, bitch!!" Julius moved fast and appeared right in front of her.
The suction on Rosalina grew even stronger now that he was closer.
At the sa ti, the force from Miasma’s spell started pulling Rosalina the other way. She was caught between two powerful forces.
"Magic arsenal!" Julius spat out the words.
Circles of different colors ford around him. They quickly spread out behind him like a solid wall.
Weapons of all kinds appeared from the circles. He waved his hand, and the weapons shot forward toward Miasma.
"Uhhhhhh!!!" Miasma roared.
The blue birds around her flew in fast to block the weapons while she kept her spell going.
Rosalina struggled to maintain herself, the suction from both sides felt like standing naked in front of a freezing blizzard.
Julius quickly stepped in and shielded Rosalina with his own body.
She looked up at him with panic in her eyes. "But why?" she asked, her gaze begging for an answer.
Julius’s face twisted with the effort of the struggle, but he held on, borrowing power from the infinite space. Still, he managed a small smile. "Do you want to sha my manhood?"
"What kind of man would I be if I let you get taken away just to save my own skin?"
He raised his shaky hand to her cheek and gently wiped away the fresh tears rolling down.
"You are my everything, babe. I will not let anyone take you away from !" His eyes grew a little wild as his intense gaze t hers. "Even if she was so god, you will always belong to ....both in soul and body!"
"But..." Rosalina stamred, looking at him. She did not know what to do anymore.
If she vanished inside the treasure, what would happen to him? She knew everything about Julius, inside and out.
She knew his body, his soul, even how many moles he had on his skin. She also knew what this treasure was.
It was a saving treasure his mother had given him for tis of crisis. It could only hold one person.
But now Julius had used it on her..." What about you?" she asked, her voice shaking.
"Don’t... worry, babe," Julius flashed a confident smirk.
He was about to assure her, but the force from Miasma’s spell grew stronger. His weapons kept blocking the blue birds.
"Die!!!" A roar ca from behind. A large blue sparrow shot toward him.
Julius turned fast. His face twisted at once. He stared hard at the sparrow with his intense golden eyes.
As he stared, his pupils shrank and turned a tallic gold. The mont his eyes changed, Miasma’s eyes went wide with shock.
"2nd awakening!!!" she spat out. Her face filled with disbelief.
She turned cautious right away and took a guarded stance, ready for sothing unseen. But nothing ca at her.
Instead, right in front of the big blue sparrow flying toward Julius, another Julius appeared.
He held a hamr high and brought it down hard on the sparrow.
Boom!
The sparrow exploded on impact, sending heat waves through the air. Then the second Julius vanished.
"The ability to manipulate the future!!!" Miasma’s face turned pale with shock.
This was the terrifying second ability of the all-seeing eyes. The first let him see the future.
The second let him act in the future. And this action had been done in the past after he saw what was coming.
"So that’s why he was like that!" she muttered.
Dread filled her eyes. Earlier, Julius had looked like a frozen statue. She thought despair had struck him. But he had actually been preparing for the perfect mont.
Blood dripped from Julius’s nose. Exhaustion showed clearly on his face.
He sank to the ground, still holding Rosalina, and panted heavily. She quickly supported him. "Please, you can’t do this to ... Julius... please, withdraw this treasure. Let ..."
Julius cut her off at once. He pulled her closer, his intense gaze locked onto hers.
"Don’t get married if I’m not alive, okay?" he said before hugging her tightly. "Always rember and love . I should stay in your heart and soul... Goodbye!!"
With that, Julius pulled on the disk.
Rosalina’s whole figure started to vanish. Panic appeared on her fading face.
"D-don’t do it... please..." she begged. But Julius did not listen. He reached out and pressed his lips gently to her forehead. "Rember always..."
"Julius!!!!"
Her vanishing, panic-filled scream echoed through the room.
Her whole body disappeared in an instant, leaving nothing behind except the soft after-echo of her begging cry that slowly faded into silence.
Thud!
Julius sank heavily to the ground. His body felt weak and drained as he sat there, breathing hard.
His gaze landed on Miasma, who stared back at him with a dumbfounded look, her mouth slightly open in shock.
"That’s the look, bitch!" Julius snarled. A triumphant grin spread across his tired face.
"Suck my dick if you’re angry, bitch!" He pointed toward his lower body with a cold, mocking smile, his eyes still burning with defiance.
Miasma’s face finally twisted completely. Anger and deep frustration burned bright in her eyes. "I will kill you!!" she roared, her voice shaking with rage.
