She imdiately grabbed both his hands and shoved them toward her chest with complete shalessness.

She suddenly froze.....her eyes widened.
Then slowly...very slowly...she covered her own mouth with both hands.

She had said far more than she was supposed to. For a mont she looked like soone whose soul had accidentally jumped out of the window.

He slowly rubbed his temple like a doctor who had just received the worst patient in dical history.

Her eyes imdiately began shining so brightly that Uriel almost felt blinded despite literally being blind already.

Ciel imdiately stopped moving. Then the next second....She practically launched herself onto him again.
"Yes! Anything! Anything at all!" she said while desperately clinging onto his arm. "You can ask for my money! My loyalty! My soul! My left kidney! I don’t even use it that much anyway!"
Her breathing had already beco uneven again. Honestly, she looked less like a noble lady and more like a starving criminal finally seeing food after ten years.
"You don’t understand..." she continued with shining eyes full of dangerous imagination. "Do you even realize how beautiful our child would be?"
And just like that...She drifted into another fantasy again. In her mind, she could already see it.
A perfect child...golden hair...Beautiful face....Elegant aura. A child so pretty that entire kingdoms would probably collapse from jealousy.

His hand slowly moved across her cheek while he continued speaking calmly.

Ciel nodded so fast it almost looked dangerous. "Of course!" she said instantly. "Anything you say! I’ll do all of it! I swear on my life!"
A soft smile appeared on Uriel’s face.
’Perfect.’ Everything had gone exactly the way he wanted.
Now she was completely trapped in his hands. Whatever he asked from her, she would do it willingly without even thinking twice.
And most importantly...’I do not need to sleep with her.’
The thought alone almost made him feel genuine relief. After everything she had done tonight, the idea of actually crossing that line with her honestly sounded exhausting.
Now he could simply use the possibility itself as bait. A reward hanging in front of her face. As long as she kept chasing it, she would remain obedient.
"Listen carefully," Uriel said calmly. "What I need you to do is actually very simple."
Ciel imdiately straightened herself.
Her eyes stayed locked onto his face so intensely that it almost looked dangerous.
She nodded quickly. "Hurry and tell ," she whispered impatiently.
Uriel gently patted her head. From the outside, the scene looked soft and affectionate.
But inside? There was not even a little warmth in his heart toward her.
Honestly, he felt disgusted. Yes, Cecilia had also beco attracted to him because of his face.
But she never crossed limits. She never forced herself onto him like this. She behaved gently. Calmly. Like soone he could actually trust beside him.
At tis, being near Cecilia even felt... comfortable. Like speaking to an old friend.
But this woman? Ciel was lust wearing human skin. Still... that sa flaw made her extrely easy to control.
"The Holy Empire will fall into ruin if the First Prince, Sebastian Evander, becos Emperor," Uriel said with a grim expression.
Ciel kept staring at him without blinking.
Truthfully, she did not care about the empire at all. The future of the nation.
At this mont, her brain only contained three thoughts:
Uriel, getting married to him and having as many beautiful children as possible.

He paused briefly before letting out a small sigh. "That is why I need your help."
"What kind of help?" Ciel imdiately asked. "Do you want to convince Father to supp..."
"No." Uriel calmly cut her off before she could finish. "What I need from you is sothing else."
Ciel blinked...then Uriel spoke slowly.
"You must beco engaged to Crypian Thorne."
Ciel froze completely. The smile on her face cracked apart instantly like fragile glass.
"...What?"
"And you must behave as though you truly love him," Uriel continued calmly. Before she could explode, he raised one hand to stop her.
"The Thorne family currently supports Sebastian. Your family becoming connected to them through marriage gives us the perfect opportunity."
Ciel looked like soone whose soul was actively leaving her body.
"You want to flirt with another man?" she asked with visible horror.
Uriel almost admired how offended she sounded despite trying to assault him fifteen minutes ago.
"What I want," Uriel continued patiently, "is for you to behave normally around Crypian."
Then after a small pause, he added, "The sa way you already do." Ciel imdiately looked away in guilt.
Because unfortunately...That statent was completely correct.
"You will gather information from the Thorne family," Uriel said calmly.
"Everything important. Political movents, private discussions, suspicious behavior..."
Then his tone beca colder. "And if possible...a betrayal."
