Julius and Rosalina spent the whole day exploring the empty city together.

By the ti the sky grew dark, the moon had risen high above them.

In this world, the full moon glowed a beautiful deep red.

Its warm crimson light bathed everything around them as Julius drove the horse cart toward the town square.

He planned to spend a few more peaceful hours here before taking Rosalina ho.

The atmosphere was magical.

The red moon’s glow shimred perfectly across the surface of the lake, making the water sparkle like liquid rubies.

Schools of light-wing fish danced just below the surface.

These special fish glowed softly at night, and every few monts, they would flap their tiny wings and leap into the air for a few joyful seconds before splashing back down.

Julius smiled to himself. ’Choosing this place was the perfect decision,’ he thought.

He gently helped Rosalina step down from the cart.

As soon as her feet touched the ground, she noticed sothing amazing floating all around the lake.

Rose wind insects.

They glowed like soft pink rose petals drifting in the gentle breeze.

The tiny insects fluttered and swirled beautifully around the water’s edge.

Rosalina’s eyes widened in surprise.

"Rose wind...?" she whispered.

These insects were only found on the continent of Auranel.

She could never forget them, her mother had loved them so much, and she had even nad her daughter after these glowing petals.

She turned to Julius, her voice soft with wonder.

"Did you... bring these here?"

Julius scratched his cheek, looking a little shy and embarrassed.

"Well... my mom really likes them," he said with a small laugh.

"So I thought you might like them too."

Rosalina looked back at the glowing insects swirling like living flower petals.

A gentle smile touched her lips.

"We have sothing in common," she said quietly, then quickly turned her gaze away, feeling a little shy.

Julius didn’t say anything right away.

He simply noticed the soft, emotional look on her face and gently led her toward a pretty white bench beside the lake.

Julius gently guided Rosalina to the white bench and waited until she sat down comfortably.

Then he sat beside her. For a few monts, neither of them spoke.

They simply sat side by side, quietly watching the beautiful lake under the glowing red moon.

Splash!

A group of light-wing fish suddenly leaped out of the water, their tiny wings flashing as they sparkled in the moonlight.

They dove back in, sending gentle ripples across the surface.

Rosalina stared at the sparkling water, her heart beating fast. *How should I start?* she thought.

The atmosphere was perfect, the shimring red moon, the dancing light-wing fish, the peaceful lake, and especially the rose wind insects floating around them like glowing pink petals.

This was the most romantic mont she could ever ask for.

It was the perfect chance to finally tell Julius how she truly felt.

But where should she begin?

She had planned to keep acting cold and distant, but after everything Julius had done today, she couldn’t bring herself to be rude anymore.

Every ti she tried to act tough, he did sothing that completely lted her heart.

’Should I just hug him?’ she wondered. But she quickly shook her head.

A simple hug didn’t feel special enough.

She wanted this mont to be truly morable, sothing they could both look back on fondly when they grew old, smiling and laughing as they rembered this special day.

’Should I just get on my...’

"Rose," Julius said softly, interrupting her thoughts. "Do you miss your mom?"

"Huh?" Rosalina snapped back to reality.

She turned her head and found Julius looking straight into her eyes.

She didn’t reply. The answer was obvious. She missed her mom every single day.

Even now, sitting here with the love of her life, her mother’s mory stayed with her every second.

"I know," Julius said in a serious, steady voice.

"I’m not good enough for you yet, and you still don’t fully trust . I also know you want revenge on those Thorns."

Rosalina’s eyes widened slightly in surprise, but she quickly returned to her calm expression.

He had been with her the whole ti, and the truth about her mother’s death was never a secret.

"I just want to say this," Julius continued.

He paused and looked deep into her eyes.

The intense gaze made Rosalina’s eyes waver.

"Don’t try to do everything by yourself. You can rely on ."

He took a small breath, his voice growing even more determined.

"Even if there is a god who dictates everything with just a stroke of his pen... I promise you, Rose... I will kill them all for you."

Rosalina stared at him, completely speechless.

No words ca out of her mouth. For a mont, she stayed silent.

She had underestimated his devotion again and again.

’I was so busy trying to reach the top... I never thought about his feelings. How hard it must have been for him to keep loving when I always gave him the cold shoulder.’

She bit down on her lower lip, feeling a wave of guilt wash over her.

Ever since he proposed, she had behaved so rudely toward him.

It wasn’t entirely her fault, she had to hide her true feelings from her family.

But in doing that, she had completely forgotten how painful it must have felt for him.

And yet... even after all that, he never turned away. Instead, he was here comforting her.

A clear teeth mark appeared on her lip as she finally released it.

"Haa..." she let out a heavy sigh and blinked several tis, trying to hold back the tears.

’It’s about ti,’ she thought, steadying herself. ’I need to tell him how I really feel.’

She took a quiet breath, returned to her calm expression, and slowly turned her gaze toward him.

"It’s about ti I clear things up," Rosalina spoke softly, her voice steady and calm.

"And it’s not just sothing I started feeling a few days ago."

Julius listened carefully, his full attention on her.

Her expression had completely changed. The usual cold, prideful look was gone.

Instead, her face looked soft and gentle, sothing he had rarely seen.

"What I’m about to say may co as a shock," she continued, "but listen carefully... because I’m not repeating it."

She took one last deep breath, her heart beating fast.

"Since many years ago, I have been in..."

"Miss Rosalina..."
