Now reading: Chapter 16: Would Leaving Now Break Her Character Setting? from Villains Act Shamelessly: The Heiress was the Great National Master!, a Romance novel by Gui Mushuang.

The other person probably hadn’t seen it yet and didn’t reply directly.

Thea Shaw forgot about it, took a shower, and got ready to rest.

Looking at the pink princess duvet, she sighed. Before closing her eyes, she was still fantasizing.

Initially, she thought ti travel was an illusion and took so ti to adjust.

Now she wishes she could return to the Won’s Respect Country.

She always felt that putting in efforts without any reward was unacceptable.

She sacrificed too much for the position of the Great National Master.

Perhaps when she wakes up, a servant will softly call, "Great National Master."

With such beautiful fantasies, Thea Shaw fell into a deep sleep.

Early morning, she opened her eyes.

The bed was very soft, the pink princess duvet was striking.

Thea Shaw: ...

Alright, face the reality, it seems there’s no going back.

Checking her phone, it was eight in the morning.

She usually sleeps late, and since she just returned, the Sutton Family didn’t wake her up to let her rest properly.

Mr. and Mrs. Sutton were typical business people, incredibly busy. Even the new wealthy families have their own ways. In this house apart from the recently returned Thea Shaw, everyone was extrely busy.

Aurora Sutton and Zia Sutton had already left for school at six.

Thea Shaw freshened up, changed into a comfortable black long dress, and went out.

Mrs. Sutton had thoughtfully arranged everything, taking her asurents to tailor clothes for her. Ti was tight, so so brand stores had sent over a batch of in-stock items first.

"Miss, you’re awake? I’ll go make breakfast for you."

The household staff asked considerately, and Thea Shaw nodded.

Regarding the recently returned Miss, the staff didn’t dare have any extra thoughts. After all, they were getting paid for their work and didn’t ddle in the owners’ affairs, at most feeling a secret curiosity.

Today’s weather was nice, the sun ward people up, adding a layer of laziness.

After breakfast, Thea Shaw went out.

Having not experienced the vibes of modern society for many years, Thea Shaw found it novel.

But soon she noticed sothing different.

She went out to stroll and didn’t call the Sutton family’s driver.

Previously in the Won’s Respect Country, she was a candidate for the Great National Master, of noble status, naturally attracting attention everywhere she went.

However, this was the modern world.

Thea Shaw was in a black long dress, her long hair cascading down to her waist, straight and smooth, her features exquisite and gentle.

Without any makeup, rely relying on her ethereal deanor, she quickly caught the attention of onlookers.

Even girls walking on the streets would excitedly look at her, though they wouldn’t gather directly, just quietly admire her.

"Such a fairy-like lady."

"Oh my god, is she really a ’white, rich, and beautiful’? She’s too elegant!"

"Wow, she completely outshines those so-called fairy-level celebrities!"

...

Decades of cultivating such a graceful deanor weren’t in vain; her poise and charisma were impeccable, as if she were about to transform into an immortal. Along with her exquisite face, it wasn’t surprising she attracted attention wherever she went.

A few bold handso guys even approached her to ask for her number.

Even when she refused, they didn’t mind.

In truth, Thea Shaw felt a bit happy inside. Who wouldn’t be? Previously in the Won’s Respect Country, her noble status kept others from having presumptuous thoughts.

Before ti traveling, she was considered pretty in the town but never received such treatnt. Now that she’s back, she’s enjoying this celebrity-like attention.

No one dislikes being praised.

But getting too much praise could also be a burden, and Thea Shaw eventually found a quiet café to sit down in.

At that mont, she just wanted to sit down first, so she chose a store with nice decor without much thought.

After sitting down, the waiter brought the nu. She looked at the nu with both English and Chinese, with the lowest price being a cup of coffee for 1999.

Thea Shaw: ...

Getting up to leave now wouldn’t match her persona.
