"Looking... looking for Chloe?"

The chubby man’s eyes lit up the mont he heard Thea was looking for Chloe.

He always thought Thea seed familiar. The impression from childhood was still vivid; he rembered the family living next to his aunt’s place had a girl who looked exactly like a snowball.

Seeing her now, mories resurfaced, and he looked surprised and delighted, "Could you be Thea Shaw?"

Saying that, he even started walking toward Thea.

Thea imdiately stepped back two or three steps, her eyes betraying a slight sense of disdain: "You know ? I don’t know you."

The chubby man awkwardly stopped in his tracks, but he was still persistent, "I’m your Aunt Chase’s nephew, Jimmy Zimrman! I used to visit her house when I was a kid, and you even played gas with , saying you’d marry when we grew up, haha, don’t you rember?"

Thea, accustod to Landon’s high standards, felt nauseated by what Jimmy Zimrman said. She almost lost her cool deanor, nearly blurting out sothing crude. After a mont, she just threw out the second half of her thought: "Do you think I was brain-dead as a child? I’m very certain that even if I were blind, I wouldn’t have said such a thing to you. Do you have delusions? If it’s serious, you should see a doctor."

Sotis, good looks are justice.

The security guard, who earlier took his cigarette and seed agreeable with what he said, now looked at Jimmy Zimrman with a face that said, "You’re kidding , right?"

He might believe Jimmy Zimrman lying about being Chloe’s boyfriend, but believing such a fairy-like girl would say such things to him was out of the question!

Jimmy Zimrman, having been exposed by Thea, wasn’t embarrassed and argued, "It’s all from when we were kids, it’s normal you don’t rember."

Thea showed no courtesy: "When you ca to your aunt’s place as a child, I recall not talking to you at all. My mory is quite sharp. I’m very clear on whether or not you’re delusional. I suggest you really get your brain checked out. It wouldn’t be good to delay it further."

Even as a child, though Thea valued appearances, she didn’t bear malice towards unattractive people; after all, people’s looks are given by their parents.

There’s nothing wrong with liking good looks.

However, Jimmy Zimrman was not only ugly as a kid but also large and abrasive, with profanities constantly coming out of his mouth. Normal people would keep away from such types, let alone Thea and Chloe.

They never interacted, yet he still managed to shalessly create a connection.

Even with his thick skin, Jimmy Zimrman found it hard to handle Thea’s repeated dismissals and was slightly indignant, "I’m here for a date with your sister."

"A date?" Thea scanned him up and down with folded arms, "Soone like you? Do you even see if you’re a match? My mom didn’t tell us anything about this. How did you get my sister’s address?"

Mrs. Blair wouldn’t voluntarily tell, and Aunt Chase wouldn’t know Chloe’s new office address, so it must have co from soone Chloe knows and who also knows Aunt Chase.

Chloe probably still keeps in touch with quite a few classmates from the town.

Whoever leaked the address and directly gave it to Aunt Chase, such a person cannot be trusted deeply.

The person never considered why Aunt Chase would rather ask an outsider for the address than Chloe’s mother. A little thought, and they wouldn’t have given it.

Jimmy Zimrman insisted stubbornly, "Your mom told my aunt! She asked to co and have a date with your sister. With my great qualities, managing to win your sister’s favor, becoming your brother-in-law, is a blessing for her!"

Thea was stunned: "..."
