Now reading: Chapter 307: Taking Cynthia Chambers for a Checkup from Villains Act Shamelessly: The Heiress was the Great National Master!, a Romance novel by Gui Mushuang.

Zia Sutton pointed at Cynthia Chambers in astonishnt: "She... was it just a coincidence?"

He wasn’t surprised that Cynthia Chambers reacted, but rather that the "12" she had written stroke by stroke on the bench was the answer to the question Thea Shaw had just asked.

But the problem now is that, even with Zia’s limited understanding, he knows that it’s remarkable for a typical two-year-old to express even slightly what they an, let alone doing math?????

This is way too ridiculously unbelievable!

"Coincidence, it must be a coincidence!"

Zia flatly refuses to believe it. Others who heard him asked, "What are you talking about?"

Zia pointed incredulously at Cynthia Chambers: "Just now, Thea asked her a question, and it seed like Cynthia answered it, and answered correctly at that."

"How could that be possible?"

Celia Chambers clearly didn’t believe it. She looked at Thea Shaw with surprise: "Thea, did you ask Cynthia any questions just now?"

She looked down to observe Cynthia Chambers’s reaction, but Cynthia, holding a lollipop, didn’t show any reaction.

Her head was down, staring blankly at the bench.

On a closer look, you would see that she was gripping the lollipop very tightly, with the small plump hand slightly bulging.

Thea Shaw carefully chose her words: "I just tested a little, it’s not very accurate. I think you should consult a professional brain specialist for a check-up—a very precise one—to test her brain’s activity. I don’t think Cynthia is developntally delayed; on the contrary, she seems to be an extrely intelligent child, to an extre level."

Everyone: "..."

Thea Shaw’s words plunged the room into a peculiar silence.

Thea didn’t feel awkward, and she waved it off: "Of course, let’s eat first, there’s no rush. I’m just suggesting a possibility for you to explore, after all, Cynthia only ignores people, but she’s very smooth with eating and walking, right?"

Typically, if a child is truly ntally challenged, even eating and walking would be developntally delayed.

Cynthia Chambers just seed to be simply not very active or responsive to the outside world.

Celia Chambers and the Chambers parents exchanged glances. They had only invited Thea Shaw over for a al today, unexpectedly hearing such words. Naturally, Mr. and Mrs. Chambers wouldn’t say anything to Thea, and Celia looked at Cynthia with a special sense of anticipation, asking: "Cynthia, did you just answer Thea’s question?"

Cynthia Chambers: "..."

Celia Chambers could only helplessly look up: "Thea, what did you ask her?"

Zia Sutton then loudly said: "She asked Cynthia a math question like 5 7, which children typically learn at three or four years old, but that’s not the point. The point is that Cynthia seems to have answered correctly; she even wrote out ’12’."

At this point, even Mrs. Chambers couldn’t help but say: "How is that possible? No matter how smart a child is, how could a two-year-old understand a two-digit math problem?"

Being a kindergarten teacher, she was very familiar with these developntal milestones.

Aurora Sutton, however, glanced at Thea Shaw. She thought perhaps Thea discerned it from Cynthia’s expression, which slightly amazed her. Then she smiled and said: "No problem, how about we take Cynthia to see a doctor for a detailed examination this afternoon?"

Everyone’s thoughts varied montarily. Mr. and Mrs. Chambers, having heard what Thea said, were more stirred than usual.

Cynthia indeed had no issues with daily life, but she simply didn’t speak or interact with the outside world. To date, they hadn’t heard her speak, except for occasionally crying once in a while. But, was Thea truly right? The question was, how did she figure it out?
