Now reading: Chapter 34: Thea Shaw’s Words Came True from Villains Act Shamelessly: The Heiress was the Great National Master!, a Romance novel by Gui Mushuang.

In the days following, Thea Shaw’s life was calm and uneventful.

Returning to the Sutton Family, apart from having more things to study, it seed like life hadn’t changed much.

She didn’t like shopping, nor did she like going out, preferring to stay ho all day.

The skills that the Great National Master must have, she had been learning for decades and was long bored with them, aside from fortune-telling which she didn’t want to further develop.

For example, the arts of music, chess, calligraphy, and painting.

What’s wrong with being a waste?

After experiencing so many storms, she no longer craved those superficial reputations.

It was at this ti that Yvette Vaughn suddenly visited.

Thea was the only one ho, and when Yvette showed up so suddenly, she approached Thea with unabashed excitent, grabbed her hand, and exclaid, "Thea, what... what else did you foresee?! You are simply amazing!"

Thea smiled slightly, "It’s just that your uncle was lucky."

Given what she said, it was certain that the Vaughn Family had avoided a disaster.

The dark aura in Yvette’s eyes was slowly dissipating.

In Yvette’s mind, Thea was really perceived as a master fortune-teller now.

This matter is rather strange, and others might not believe it.

Just a few days ago, she had advised Theodore Howard not to attend the gathering, and shortly after, several major clients from other cities visited Theodore’s company and insisted on going to the club for fun.

Among the wealthy, there are so understood things; though Theodore never participated, sotis for business’s sake, he had no choice but to accompany people there.

These clients couldn’t be offended. Theodore suddenly recalled his wife’s words. Although he didn’t take it seriously, especially since these individuals had significant backgrounds, no matter the trouble, it could be suppressed. He thought nothing would happen and called Yvette to report.

At the ti, Yvette’s intuition prevailed; she just had a feeling, her eyelids were twitching nonstop, so she demanded Theodore not to go.

Just a week, even if it ant going after this ti period, it would be fine.

Theodore didn’t really want to go to those places, but he couldn’t refuse those people, so he feigned a headache, claiming he needed a hospital check, and returned ho very late to make it believable.

As it turned out, sothing really did happen!

The place they went to was a high-end club, and coincidentally, there was an undercover police officer near the drug dealers right in the adjacent room, doing final operations.

Several people got drunk and wild, bravely indulging in illegal substances, hiring several escorts, and during their alcoholic high, ended up strangling a girl to death. As they encountered the police raid, they were caught red-handed at the murder scene. Drug abuse and murder combined, this incident blew up!

When the news ca in the middle of the night yesterday, Theodore found out and shuddered all over, breaking into a cold sweat.

He knew that even if he had gone and done nothing, just standing by without stopping it, he would be dood just the sa; no washing it off, not even in the Yellow River.

He knew those people were daring, but he didn’t realize to such an outrageous extent.

Clashing with a major case like this, no power could suppress it now.

Especially since there was a celebrity nad Julius Lucas present at the scene; once the well-connected reporters got the news, they broke in imdiately. Though currently withheld due to the drug dealer issues, the news about Julius Lucas would undoubtedly make big headlines soon.

When everything blows up, Yvette knows that in such a well-known situation, their company will be affected and follow down.

Upon hearing the na Julius Lucas, Thea slightly arched her eyebrow.
