Now reading: Chapter 363: Luna Rhodes from Villains Act Shamelessly: The Heiress was the Great National Master!, a Romance novel by Gui Mushuang.

The hint was already clear enough.

Old Master Rhodes knew sothing others didn’t.

If the Clear Path Sect were to confront The Aetherium Sect, then this jumping-off-a-building incident—

it seems soone deliberately arranged it to target the Clear Path Sect.

But involving a human life, this is not the act of a reputable group.

Thea Shaw furrowed her brows.

Old Mr. Kensington sighed, "Your fortune-telling is so accurate, your fa has spread; sooner or later, you’ll co up against The Aetherium Sect."

The Clear Path Sect is still just a sect, but Thea Shaw is only one person.

Thea Shaw chuckled, "Does The Aetherium Sect only allow themselves to do business in Aethelgard?"

"Greed sways people’s hearts."

Old Mr. Kensington sighed, "You don’t know; The Aetherium Sect receives billions annually just from incense money donated everywhere. These wealthy folks are quick to shift allegiances; the day they find your fa has spread further, they’ll flock to you, cutting off The Aetherium Sect’s inco."

"I’ve never thought of such a grand ambition."

Whether they co to her or not, she only takes on fortune-telling tasks.

"If it really cos to that." Thea Shaw smiled with pursed lips, "I’m not afraid, but thank you for your reminder, sir."

"No need to be polite." Old Mr. Kensington said, "Since Old Master Rhodes asked to remind you, it seems he’s got results on his side."

——

In the blink of an eye, it’s a week later, on Old Master Rhodes’ side.

He went abroad, only notifying those protecting him, no one else.

He brought along his most favored, youngest grandchildren.

Even with the accurate information provided by Thea Shaw, it still took his subordinates so ti to confirm Old Master Rhodes’ daughter’s real information.

Her changes were indeed significant.

Because she had costic surgery.

But the changes weren’t because of the surgery; upon investigation, she was injured years ago, hurt her face. Her current husband, a plastic surgeon who saw her facial injury, perford facial reconstruction surgery, changing so minor details.

The changes were not large, but over ti, they accumulated enough to make Old Master Rhodes unable to recognize her at a glance.

Old Master Rhodes looked at the chubby woman, standing at a distance by a small stall, selling traditional Chinese pancakes, smiling kindly and warmly, and could not believe his eyes.

He only rembered his daughter being delicate and beautiful, with an air of confidence always between her brows.

She never bowed her head, possessing the iron will of a soldier.

Whatever she looked like, she was worlds apart from the woman in front of him now.

"Is that Aunt?"

Franklin Rhodes, Old Master Rhodes’ grandson, was a bit incredulous.

He had seen photos in his childhood; his aunt was an elegant beauty, not this ordinary woman, now carrying a whiff of everyday life’s smoke without a trace of grace.

"Still, there’s so resemblance."

Yvette Rhodes, the granddaughter, looked at the woman, feeling her features were still familiar.

She resembled Grandpa.

"Where’s the resemblance?"

Franklin said this with a hint of disdain in his voice.

Raised in nobility, his surroundings were either filled with people of noble temperant or with a soldier’s will; he had never encountered such an ordinary woman.

Old Master Rhodes suddenly turned his head, his gaze sharp as an eagle’s, startling Franklin, who had rarely been looked at like that by his grandfather. He quickly lowered his head.

To this day, no one in the family dared to et the old master’s gaze.

Coming from the battlefield, they weren’t people ordinary n could compare to.

Old Master Rhodes let out a cold snort and started walking towards the stall.
