Apple Hale finished checking and went back ho.

The stench grew stronger as she approached the doorstep.

Apple Hale used to not know, but now she understood more clearly how others felt when they slled her.

Even she couldn’t endure it.

Yet she had no choice but to endure it.

Looking at the door in front of her, Apple Hale hesitated and shrank back, not taking out her key to open the door for a long ti.

Inside the house, the sound of her son playing video gas was loud enough for the neighbors to hear.

Occasionally, the clinking of bottles could be heard.

Her husband was drinking.

The events of the afternoon made Apple Hale realize that without that little girl, her husband would surely beat her to death.

She was afraid deep inside.

But no matter how terrified, she had to go ho.

She bowed her head, her fingers trembling as she inserted the key into the lock.

The sound of the door opening did not attract anyone’s attention inside until the door was opened, and the man with a sullen face finally looked over.

"You still dare to co back!"

The man got up imdiately, grabbed a bottle, and approached her with a fierce look in Apple Hale’s terrified eyes.

"What... what are you going to do?"

Apple Hale couldn’t believe that he was going to hit her directly this ti.

The man’s face was full of anger: "What am I doing? At noon, you ran away because of that little bitch! A monk can run away, but the temple can’t escape. If you have the guts, don’t co back. Since you ca back, I’ll beat you to death today. You’ve made lose such face, you slut!"

With that, a bottle was thrown at Apple Hale.

Apple Hale reacted, dodging to the side, and the bottle hit her shoulder instead of her head.

The sharp pain spread through her body, as if it had reached her bones.

Apple Hale’s face turned pale, and her body collapsed.

The door to the room separated by a wall was open, and her son, playing gas, only glanced over coldly at the sound, then indifferently turned back to his ga.

At that mont, Apple Hale despaired.

She wondered what her life was for.

A husband who only abuses her, a totally unfilial son.

What is the aning of her life?

Apple Hale closed her eyes, waiting for the judgnt of fate to arrive.

But the next second, she heard her husband screaming—

"Ah!!!"

As if terrified by sothing horrific, when she heard the scream, Apple Hale instinctively opened her eyes.

Then, her eyes widened.

Her husband looked as though he had seen sothing terrifying, his mouth letting out scream after scream, his whole body stiff and convulsing.

The next second, from his mouth dripped a foul-slling green liquid, just like in the movies.

A strong stench shot up her nostrils, nearly causing Apple Hale to faint.

Even her son, who was playing video gas, ran out because of the stench: "What the hell, what’s so stinky!"

But as soon as he reached the door and saw his father’s miserable state, his eyes widened imdiately.

Apple Hale covered her nose, almost neglecting everything else, screaming as she scrambled up and turned to run toward the door, fleeing out of the house.

She ran out for no more than two seconds before her son also scread; he too stood rigid, just like his father, convulsing, with green liquid pouring from his mouth.

The stench of decay and rot instantly overwheld the entire residential area.

Those who didn’t know thought that a biochemical weapon had struck.

And those inside the house, overwheld by this stench, all rushed out.
