Villains Act Shamelessly: The Heiress was the Great National Master! Chapter 82: You Two Are Going Too Far
Thea Shaw whispered, "There’s nothing special between us."
It was just looking at a few of his photos, totally innocent.
Chloe Shaw’s lips curled into a mysterious smile, "You’re twenty now, it’s normal to have sothing going on, but I can tell this guy’s not simple."
In Aethelgard, Chloe had seen many people like this, and she had a keen eye.
Unlike the wealthy people she usually encounters, this man clearly exuded an air of authority.
He’s from a completely different world than us.
People like him typically move in very high circles that ordinary people don’t mix into.
Chloe looked at the overly ethereal beauty of Thea’s face now and said nothing more.
Her sister is currently the type who could conquer the world with her looks, so attracting soone like that doesn’t seem too far-fetched.
Chloe brought this up and thought of sothing else, "You never dated anyone at ho before?"
Not likely, Thea may not have been as stunning before as she is now, but even back in the small town her face was definitely on the beautiful side, how could no one pursue her?
Chloe just never asked that much.
Thea said, "I never dated."
Though she had been chased, and she really did harbor a crush.
After all, she was once an ordinary, normal girl, how could she have not liked soone?
Deep down she was always a face lover, so of course, she liked boys who were considered the heartthrobs at the ti. The boy was also a shallow looks-lover, professed his liking for her on the first day of middle school, but just when Thea was hesitantly considering saying yes, she caught that heartthrob hugging and kissing another girl.
What a huge blow that was to the pure face lover Thea back then.
He claid to like her yet didn’t delay in kissing other girls, and she had a severe emotional cleanliness fetish—she didn’t care if the heartthrob had dated anyone before, but witnessing that scene firsthand was just too nauseating.
The crush was nipped in the bud, and later suitors ca along without the heartthrob’s looks, leaving Thea to fall silent and focus solely on her idols.
And then—she remained single like that.
Chloe clicked her tongue, "Unbelievable."
Thea couldn’t help but ask, "What about you? You’re getting on in age and never dated either?"
Chloe thought for a mont, "There is soone, we’re in the interest stage, haven’t confird it yet."
Chloe’s not too young anymore, and though Mrs. Blair didn’t say it, she was worried at heart. Chloe’s the type focused on career, not considering relationships at all, so revealing there’s soone she’s interested in is already saying a lot.
Thea nodded, "Then it’s up to you."
Chloe didn’t have anything major going on, so Thea didn’t worry.
While they were talking, Landon Ford and his group arrived, a striking bunch of young nobles drawing all eyes, especially Landon Ford, receiving glances from all around as soon as they sat down. Perhaps by coincidence, they sat near Thea and Chloe.
Originally, one of the young nobles intended to mingle and get acquainted with Thea, since they had t at a party after all. But seeing Landon Ford choose the seat next to her, he quickly caught on, eyes shifting smartly, and sat down obediently.
Landon Ford sat not far from Thea. Thea could even sll a pleasant herbal fragrance when he sat down—not sure what brand it was, but the results were this strong, she’d have to ask later if there was ti.
Chloe couldn’t help but be curious, stealing glances at him too. After all, they had t that evening, and seeing him now without a greeting ant there was sothing fishy!
The group of young nobles started ordering, and Landon casually took out his phone. No one dared to peek at his screen, just watching his fingers tap a few tis, then his eyes drifted lightly towards Thea, who felt her phone vibrating.
Landon: [Seeing soone and not saying hello?]
Chloe also noticed, and with astonishing insight, glanced between them, bending over her bowl to whisper to Thea:
"Don’t overdo it, you two."
Thea: "..."
