’Shit! At this rate I’ll explode!’ Grey lanted inwardly. At a thought appeared in his head, Grey’s eyed held a bright glint. He was imdiately decisive and knew what to do.

Without any hesitation, Grey stood up and pushed open the boulder blocking the entrance to the cave. Outside, the whistling sandstorm was still in a frenzy.

The mont he opened the cave entrance by even a small crack, a large amount of sand flew in.

The sand that flew in harshly grazed Grey’s skin, in just a mont, his entire body had been covered in wounds which were dripping with red blood.

Everybody including the Nascent Soul Transformation cultivator was surprised. But just as one of the Foundation Establishnt cultivator was about to stretch his hand towards Grey, he saw his figure disappear into the whistling world outside.

Everyone beca stunned when they saw this. No one had expected Grey to leave the safe hiding place and rush out.

They were all so shocked for a second that they forgot to close the boulder blocking the large entrance. Only after several seconds did they realize and quickly blocked the entrance.

But by that ti, sand had filled the majority of the cave. Because of this, the Qi Accumulation cultivators were wounded severely while the Foundation Establishnt realm cultivators only got light scratches.

anwhile, the Nascent Soul Transformation expert, who was as calm as ever, did not even allow a single grain of sand to land on his skin.

His expression was cold and nonchalant as always, but you could see a glint of interest in his eyes whenever he glanced at the entrance. ’What an interesting fellow!’ He said inwardly before shutting his eyes and entering deep ditation.

He appeared to no longer care about the rest of the cultivators and closed his eyes tightly to cultivate.

Everywhere was suddenly drowned in silence. It was as if nothing had happened, but looking at the small lump of sand by the side, everyone couldn’t help but feel strange about Grey’s departure.

A sharp, piercing pain imdiately assaulted Grey’s senses the mont he ca out of the cave. He stretched his hands out in front of him as he bent low to reduce the sharp pain.

But the mont Grey walked out of the cave, the Cold yin energy that surged into his body like crazy stopped and he was easily able to stop it.

After doing that, Grey heaved a silent sigh of relief. But a sharp glint appeared in his eyes shortly after.

’It ans that it was one of the cultivators in the cave that made the Cold yin energy unstoppably surge into my body.’

As soon as he said that, he already had an idea of who it was. But first, he had to find a way to withstand the the piercing sands.

Currently, Grey as using his perception to see. As he was worried that his eyes would be blinded if they were opened.

After taking so ntal notes, he brought out a protective talisman from his storage bag and instantly crushed it in his fist.

A white, transparent barrier imdiately appeared and isolated Grey from the rest of the world. This talisman was one he had obtained from Sky Mist City.

It could block attacks from a Foundation Establishnt cultivator in the middle stages, for up to an hour.

Grey had spent a lot of his spirit stones to obtain just one. So as he crushed it in his hands, he couldn’t help but feel like he was crushing his hard earned money.

’This transparent barrier can only last for about one hundred and thirty breaths of ti. Which is about seven to eight minutes. After seven or eight minutes, this protective talisman would be used up ’ As soon as he said that, Grey began to March forward.

Strangely, his body was still slightly bloated from absorbing too much Cold Yin, so it took everything within his power to not stir the massive amount of Cold Energy in his body.

He was certain that if he stirred it, he would be indirectly trying to trying through to the Foundation Establishnt realm unprepared. Which would be even worse!

"Dammit!" Gret shouted out loud, but his voice was drowned by the howling wind. Covered by the white transparent barrier, Grey’s body began to heal it’s wounds at a speed visible by the eyes.

His blood flowed back into his wounds, his mangled flesh began to heal itself and the sand which was stuck deep in his skin was pushed out.

Gret endured the pain by gritting his teeth. But counting down the breaths, he began to move. His movents were sowhat impeded by the sharp, grazing sand. But the strength in his legs and his speed made up for it.

Soon, the one hundred and thirty breaths of ti elasped and the white transparent barrier protecting him from the howling winds was broken. But as the barrier was about to break apart due to the harsh winds, Grey brought out another talisman and crushed it again.

Another white, transparent barrier arose again. After buying himself another six or so minutes of ti, he dashed into a full sprint.

As he ran, he felt his cultivation base tremble. His spirit sea began to expand on it’s own. But Grey did not have the ti to examine what was going on in his body, so he continued to move.

Soon, he felt his body begin to get warm. Before he knew it, a network of purple lights appeared all over his body. Even though Grey had changed his appearance, the purple lines still appeared in a ilusionary form over his body.

"What!!?"

’BOOOM’ A loud bang resounded from Grey’s body. His spirit sea began to expand even more. Four hundred feet, six hundred feet, one thousand three hundred feet, one thousand nine hundred feet...

Before he knew it, he felt a strange energy suddenly fill his entire body. It even filled his bones and flesh. Then, loud popping sounds could be heard from his body.

Grey’s mouth was opened but all he could let out was a silent scream. These popping sounds continued for several breaths of ti. But just as the ti was about to elaspe again, Grey brought out another talisman and crushed it in his palms.

The talisman was directly grinded into dust, and another protective barrier suddenly surronded Grey.

Wasting his third talisman, Grey turned back and started running towards the cave. Despite the black goo seeping from under his pores, and the unimaginable pain of his body reshaping itself, Grey ran with all his might.

Suddenly, an even louder bang rang out once again. But this bang did not co from Grey’s body, it ca from the white transparent barrier being destroyed and grinded into dust.

Fierce, sharp sands imdiately assaulted Grey. Along with the overwhelming pain of having his bones and flesh itself being strengthened, Grey almost ran mad.

The purple crystal was trying to keep up with nding his cracked flesh and body, and also seal the Divine flas in his spirit sea that the seal protecting the Divine flas from his spirit sea almost broke.

But just as Grey’s about to fall down to the ground, his broken, slashed, and mangled hand touched the cold cave wall.

Using the last bit of strength in him, Grey punched out. An air cannon in the shape of a fist flew out and collided with the large Boulder.

’Bang!’ With a bang, the boulder was pushed away and Grey staggered inside looking like a bloody ss.

This ti, the Foundation Establishnt cultivator that first opposed him when he ca stood up angrily. This was the second ti that Grey was opening the cave entrance and letting the sharp sands in.

He could not take it anymore and spat out a mouthful of black gas. He angrily pointed that gas at Grey. The black gas then turned into the figure of a malicious ghost and pounced on him.

Grey looked at this with a gloomy expression. The network of purple lines had disappeared from his body, now he looked like a bloody ss.

Grey had already begun to summon the sword art he had comprehended. He was also about to command his shadow to attack, when the Nascent Soul Transformation expert grabbed at the air lightly. The black gas that had transford into a Malicious ghost cried out in agony and was was dispersed in all directions. The Nascent Soul Transformation expert then sucked in casually and inhaled all the black gas.

The Foundation Establishnt cultivator that released the black gas staggered back in pain and fear. Seeing his black gas consud by the Nascent Soul Transformation cultivator, the backlash was huge and unexpected. He then looked at the Nascent Soul Transformation expert with fear and shock. But most importantly, he was stunned.

And it wasn’t only him that was stunned, the Qi Accumulation cultivators that were huddled in a small corner all looked on with stunned expressions. Even the other Foundation Establishnt cultivators were surprised at the turn of events.

Not even minding them, Grey was even more stunned.
