Several hundred feet away, Grey’s figure could be seen as an influx of Dense Corrosive substance surrounded him closely. The influx of Corrosive substance was reaching a very high point that the black statue with a slithering creature in one hand, and a beheaded head filled with malevolence and viciousness stopped flying over. Cracks began to appear on its black body as it trembled intensely. It was like it wanted to keep chasing Grey, but the corrosive substance had reached a point that it was very harmful to it.

That sight made the Foundation Establishnt realm cultivator open his eyes in shock. Since he was the one that created the black statue, he naturally knew what it could do. He knew that it could endure large amounts of Corrosive substance without anything happening to it, yet he watched as if trembled before the great influx of Corrosive substance that was dashing towards Grey from all sides of the Whistling fields.

As Grey continued to run without looking back, his figure was obscured by the black tornado that ford.

"He summoned large amounts of Corrosive substance at once with those strange pills he had..." At this point, the Foundation Establishnt realm cultivator did not want to chase Grey anymore. From the start of this chase, he had been shocked one after another by Grey.

If this had happened earlier, maybe he would not have given up on this chase and found a way to go around the influx of Corrosive substance, but now that he witnessed Grey doing the impossible ti after ti, he knew that if his realm was lower, he would not last as long as Grey did. If he himself could not handle the Corrosive substance, he doubted that Grey could.

However, since Grey willingly caused all this to happen, he found it hard to believe that he did not have a way to get through this.

But as he was about to turn around and give up on the chase, he felt his connection to the Bizarre Spirit abruptly cut off. This suddeness made his face pale as he coughed out mouthful of blood from the backlash.

"How!?" A single word appeared in his mind but he couldn’t help but shout it out. Just as soon as he uttered those words, a bright fla suddenly shone forth from the influx of Corrosive substance.

That fla was very hot that the sands underneath his feet started to turn into glass. Shock appeared on the Foundation Establishnt realm cultivator’s face as he tried to run faster. But in his sights, he saw a fiery bird made of flas appear.

That bird burned as bright as the sun. It made the departing sun in the horizon to seem as if it has gone back to the sky. On the face of the fiery bird, pride and arrogance could be seen as if let out a wild screech to the heavens.

When that screech rang out, the entire whistling fields turned silent. The influx of Corrosive substance that was surging forward was blown away. The sharp sands that had begun to rise up were turned to slightly greenish glass and were blown away as well.

As this happened, the Foundation Establishnt expert could see Grey who stood in the middle of it all. His face held a calmness that made the middle-aged man in red robes tremble. But in eyes, he saw a purple glint along with intense killing intent and blood lust.

Grey raised his hand as a Purple illusionary sword appeared above his head. The purple sword casted a purple glow over the frozen glass in the dark desert, and before he realized it, he saw an illusionary purple moon appear behind Grey as well.

That purple moon let out a strong aura that suppressed the middle-aged man. At the sa ti, if he looked deep into Grey’s eyes, he would see the faint illusion of a purple in it.

Although his robes were in shreds, most parts even had patches of corrosion and his own blood dyed the green robes a tinge of crismon, the calmness in his eyes at that mont reached a frightening degree.

The Foundation Establishnt expert felt that Grey no longer looked like a human at that mont, but like a ferocious beast that was crouched and ready to attack.

When the purple moon appeared, the illusionary purple sword no longer looked illusionary, as it had with it a corporeal glow. As the purple sword over his head turned corporeal, a purple sword also appeared in his hand. That sword exuded mysteriousness and a strange domineeringness that the Foundation Establishnt expert started feeling even more suppressed.

Grey opened his mouth slowly. "Purple..." The purple sword above his head was raised higher. The mysterious and killing intent coming from it was enough to choke a person.

That single word sounded like Grey was dictating the wills of the heavens that no one could go against. His voice resounded to all corners and even into the void. The world shuddered at the sound of his voice.

The black statue that was already filled with cracks began to crack even more until it looked like it would crumble in the next second. The slithering creature started slithering with even more intensity as if it wanted to escape from the Black Statue’s grip, but in the end it could not.

The beheaded malicious spirit head no longer looked to be filled with viciousness, it was now shaking in shock as cracks spread all around it too.

"Slash..." After he said that, the purple sword in Grey’s hand swiftly ca down. At the sa mont, the purple sword above his head ca down as well.

As they both ca down at the sa ti, a shocking presence erupted from Grey as his level of cultivation suddenly spiked and surpassed the Ninth level and entered the Tenth level.

The Black statue completely crumbled into dust at this mont. The slithering creature and the malicious spirit also broke into several pieces that fell into the ground. But when they hit the ground, they turned into sprinkles of black blood that was scattered all around the sand.

But Grey’s eyes continued to reveal calmness, he did not seem to notice his level increasing and the black statue breaking apart and crumbling as the sword continued to fall down.

As the sword fell down, the Foundation Establishnt expert felt as if the world had rejected him, that feeling made him feel as if his level at the Foundation Establishnt dropped. He was on the ground as he stared up at Grey who stood like a emperor delivering the final strike. The calm coldness in his eyes were enough to make his heart jolt, his instincts scread at him to avoid that single slash, but his body did not respond. It was like he was truly frozen in that spot in fear.

The purple sword that hung over Grey’s head and seed to be at a distance of over four hundred feet suddenly appeared in front of the Foundation Establishnt expert.

As he looked up, he saw that the purple sword over ten ters was held by a huge illusionary hand. That hand continued until he could see the body of the hand. The body was of a middle-aged man with long purple hair. His eyes were cold and his expression was unreadable, he seed like an executioner preparing his weapon.

The mont the two of them locked gazes, a loud bang resounded in the Foundation Establishnt expert’s mind. Distant crimson clouded his vidion and the very last thing he saw was the purple sword coming down over him. That was the very last thing he saw.

The mont the sword slashed down, the purple sword in Grey’s hand began to disappear back to it’s illusionary state before it fully disappeared.

Grey’s vision started to darken as well, he had been heavily injured and had been running throughout the whole day. Now, as he executed that sword slash, his internal and external injuries opened at the sa ti.

But as his vision slowly faded, all Grey could see was the one slash that he had executed at that mont. It remained frozen in his eyes. That one slash captured in his eyes at that mont looked like it could slash down the heavens at will.

As he slowly fell unconscious, Grey’s felt lips moved and he could hear himself say in a low, slow voice. "Do you... see what I see?" Those words were tinged with sadness and loneliness that made Grey’s body shudder, but as he thought about why he would suddenly say that, his mind went dark.

Roxanne fell down on his frozen glass with a confused expression on her face. That confused expression slowly turned into concern as she screeched loudly as if she wanted Grey to wake up, but Grey could not hear her as his mind went into an unconscious state.
