"Roxanne?" Grey said as he looked at the petite figure with striking red hair and robes. Her expression was one of innocence but deep in her eyes, Grey could see so mischievousness.
The petite figure before him lifted her head at the sound, her scarlet hair spilling down her shoulders like molten fla. The crimson robe wrapped around her small fra fluttered slightly as if stirred by an invisible breeze.
The petite looking girl did not seem to understand his words at the mont, but after several seconds she started to nod enthusiastically like she understood.
The mont Grey saw this, a faint smile crept up to the side of his lips. His hard and cold gaze softened a little as he gazed at the little girl with red hair.
Her expression was one of confusion, but under Grey’s soft gaze, her face slowly turned into that of a blush.
"So you can transform into a human now... It seems like after your long nap, you have gained many new things now." Grey said. He slowly arranged a lock of hair behind her ear.
"But that’s good. In the future, I no longer have to worry about hiding you around other people. Since you transford, I can hardly feel your otherworldly presence, it’s... just like you’re a normal girl."
After saying that, the cold glint returned to his eyes. Grey stood up abruptly and waved his hand, the ceiling of the cave was suddenly blasted open by a strong and unknown force. As the ceiling was opened, sunlight and sand poured in like droplets of rain.
Grey’s expression was twisted a bit with pain. After entering a trance like state for two days, his level further increased and he felt his power increase to the Fifth level of Qi Accumulation.
But of course, with that power he would normally not be able to do much. But since his actual realm was the Tenth level, and he was only gravely injured, he could still cast so simple spells and arts. But the problems was that they could be very tireso.
After the ceiling of the cave was blasted open by an unseen and unnatural force, Grey turned to look at the petite figure who was standing close to him.
She held unto his right arm with a comfortable expression on her face. The mont Grey saw this, he scratched his head awkwardly.
’So you are still following because of the Divine Flas in my Spirit sea. But... but I don’t know how it is of use to you. I don’t even know how to quench the flas, much less bring them out from my spirit sea...’ Grey said as he sighed inwardly. Seeing Roxanne hug his right arm just like how she would always sit on his shoulder in the past.
’You... have also broke through to the Late Stages of Foundation Establishnt and are just a step away from Spirit Core Formation realm, but I’m still in the Qi Accumulation realm despite all this ti.’ A sharp glint appeared in his eyes. ’I have to quickly cure my internal injuries and attain the Eleventh level before breaking through to the Foundation Establishnt realm. After saying that, Grey stepped on thin air and slowly rose.
Grey fog appeared under his feet in his eyes, but to anyone else, it was as if Grey was walking in mid-air like a Foundation Establishnt expert.
The grey fog that appeared under his feet was like the rainbow colors he had seen under those seven cultivators feet. During his ti in the mories of the Wind Monarch, Grey had observed how they flew without any use of talismans and found out that it was through a technique.
Although Grey did not know the technique, he had morized the circulation of their Qi at that ti and found out how they actually flew.
Any cultivator in the Qi Accumulation realm could use it, but it was based on their level of mastery over their Qi. Naturally, cultivators above the fifth level could start to manipulate their Qi outside of their own bodies. Sixth and Seventh level cultivators could do it better.
The more mastery one had over their Qi, the easier it would be to fly in the sky and their ti in the sky would also increase as well. Of course, their Spirit energy as well as their ntal energy would also be slowly spent until they could not continue the technique anymore.
The circulation of Qi and focus while flying depended on the level of the cultivator. If a Sixth level Qi Accumulation realm cultivator used this technique, he would at most be able to stay in the air for at least six hours. Those in the Seventh level could last even longer and go up to thirteen hours before being spent.
But Grey reckoned that with his level of mastery over his Qi, he could go for twelve days straight without rest. But that was if he was at full power. With his power only at the Fifth level, Grey could only last for a few hours in the sky before coming down. This was not because he lacked mastery over his Qi, but because the Spirit energy consumption would exhaust his reserves within those hours.
As Grey’s feet left the floor and he continued to walk on air, Roxanne too clung to his hand and walked on air as well. She was already in the Foundation Establishnt realm when Grey first t her. Now that she had napped, her level had shot up to the Late Stages of Foundation Establishnt realm.
Her movents were effortless, natural. As a Late Foundation Establishnt cultivator, even in human form, she could soar for months without touching the ground.
As Grey rose into the sunlit sky, a figure in striking red robes could be seen floating at his side like a crimson shadow. And together, they left the ruined cave behind.
