Their faces were slightly pale and tired. However, they withstood the pressure with intense desire in their eyes. The captain laughed crazily and bit her tongue.
White and black erupted from her body at the sa ti as white flas rushed and turned into a half open umbrella. The black fog rushed and turned into a black shield.
With the two of them, she endured the pressure and rushed forward.
Roxanne did not waste ti and transford into a illusionary fire Bird. It was a Phoenix! The Phoenix let out a loud cry and rushed into the distance with flas all around her.
Altogether, they rapidly closed the distance and entered the five thousand ters range. The mont they did, it felt as if the pressure had been increased by several tis.
But everyone had already adapted to the pressure, hence, when the mighty pressure fell, they shrugged it off and continued forward. However, their faces that were slightly pale beca even more pale and their bodies shook a little.
"We are only at the Five thousand ters range, what will happen when we enter four thousand ters or three thousand ters? Will we even be able to enter the crystal palace?" Grey said through clenched teeth.
It was when the pressure increased slightly that he realized how difficult it would be to get to the crystal palace.

In a short amount of ti, they crossed the five thousand ters and got within the fur thousand ters range. However, the pressure here was even heavier and taxing.
Grey had to use his full strength to push through as he ran. The captain's figure was also trailing behind him.
The white umbrella beca unstable and started to dissipate. As it did, the captain's expression would change even more as she had to use the shield to withstand the increased power.
It was only after a long while that they crossed the four thousand ter range and the three thousand ter range.
At the two thousand ter range, everyone had sweat pouring out from their bodies. The captain's white umbrella had already beco so shaky that it looked like it would collapse at any mont.
The black shield also distorted and it looked as if the black gas could not handle the pressure. It was continuously dispersing and disappearing.
At the one thousand ter range, Grey could no longer endure it and summoned the purple moon. The mont he did, everything around him was dyed in purple.
His grey eyes shone with a purple glint as an illusionary cloak made of moonlight appeared on his shoulders.
The mont the purple moon appeared, the pressure on his person was reduced significantly as he continued to charge. Grey also tried to summon his battle armor endure the pressure... but the pressure was too much that it would collapse before it had even ford.
The shadow beneath his feet was also distorting and letting out silent wails that only he could hear.
The shadow had awakened a short while ago, however, it was in a very weakened state and any form of pressure could make it sink back into its previous state.
To anyone that was watching closely, Grey's shadow was distorting and crying out silently. But it's actions were different from Grey's. Instead of the shadow to copy Grey's movents, it was bending and screaming in pain.
Others might not hear it's cries, but Grey could hear them clearly. He could also hear the murmurs that it spoke to itself.
'Darn! What kind of ss has this bastard gotten himself into. Why is there the suffocating presence of soone that had surpassed the Nirvana realm here. Argh!' The shadow let out an even more heart rending scream as purple light shone and suddenly suppressed the shadow.
When it looked up, it saw Grey staring at it with a stern frown on his face. The mont the shadow caught sight of Grey's expression, it froze and suddenly began to beg.
'Darn this bastard! Once I obtain my freedom, I'll make sure yo...'
The shadow sakid inwardly, however, it was awarded with another purple light from the shadow that made it let out another blood curdling scream.
'Copy my actions. You're sticking out.'
Grey's cold voice rang out in the ears of the shadow and it froze once again. However, it soon realized it's mistake and continued copying Grey's movents.
'This bastard...'
The shadow cursed inwardly, however, it did not dare to disobey Grey. It was currently in a weak state and could fall into a deep sleep if it was supressed a few more tis.
It rembered the last tis it had been supressed and began to play it's roles as a normal shadow well. But at tis, it would lag behind Grey due to the heavy pressure and distort into all manner of shapes.
By the ti it finally got used to the pressure, the shadow weakly peeked around the place.
The first thing it saw was a crystal palace that was several thousand feet tall. It was like an impregnable fortress and strong waves of pressure would roll out of it and towards them.
The world around it was red and it saw six suns of different colors high in the red sky. Those six suns were the only source of light and it created a mysterious and eerie atmosphere.
The last thing that the shadow noticed was the huge head above the highest point of the crystal palace. That had had long white hair and looked at them with a cold and indifferent expression as if it was not alive and not dead but a state within.
Once all these scenes appeared in it's mind, the shadow sucked in a deep breath inwardly. It could sense that the mighty pressure was coming from the huge head and crystal palace.
However, it could not understand why Grey was running towards it while enduring the pressure.
'Thi-s is a-a... Soul Ascendancy...' The shadow stuttered in a daze.
