The mont the violet intent spread out and surged into the frozen stairs, Grey’s body shuddered slightly. The ice steps below his feet also dimd as more fog rolled down and covered it, making it look obscure.
Grey’s divine sense that had fused with the purple light rapidly entered the ice stairs ans rushed towards the small speckles of black light.

In an instant, Grey’s world was plunged into pure white. In his mind, Grey saw endless white and a few black dots in the distance.
He imdiately moved towards it with indifference. In the ti it took for two candles to burn out completely, Grey arrived close to a black speckles.
Up close, Grey saw that this small dot was not as small as he thought it was. Compared to his divine sense that was small and without form, the black dot in front of him resembled the sun.
It’s dark light shone with a eerie ethereal light while it radiated a dense feeling of the power of laws.
Up close, Grey could sense that... this black light was the very concept of the law of this place. Although it was slowly shrinking and diminishing, the power in it remained domineering and capable of crushing all below it.
This close to the black speckles of light, Grey also realized sothing. That at so point in ti, this world was probably completely black. Including the ice and the stairs.
Maybe it was after the laws began to disappear that the natural color of ice was revealed. But this also lead Grey to a clue about Soul Ascendancy realm cultivators.
It was that their inner realitues were never normal. They might make the laws and rules similar to the real world’s, but the forces in it and the nature was fundantally different.
At this point, Grey’s divine sense ford a small illusionary person. He had long purple hair and eyes and wore purple clothes. His expression was that of indifference, but a domineering and mysterious aura was spreading out from him.
He was identical to Grey, except for the purple hair and other features.
With the supressive intent of the purple crystal spreading out from him, Grey slowly approached the black speckle of light.
Right now, he was five thousand ters away from it. But he could sense the overflowing power of the power coming from the black star.
As Grey moved and tried to enter the range of five thousand ters, his illusionary self was suddenly rebounded by an unseen force.
Grey’s expression changed slightly when he felt it.
"The power of the world is... rejecting my existence." Grey said slowly when he realized what happened.
In truth, ever since the Soul Ascendancy realm expert fell and the power of his realities gradually diminished, the laws in his worlds had all beco chaotic.
So of those laws were very chaotic to the point that if it affected a person, it could kill them while in the world.
Although this black star before Grey was not as chaotic as the others, it naturally rejected his existence when it sensed the supressive intent coming from him.
"If that is the case, then this will be very difficult." Grey said with a wry smile on his lips.
He tried to enter the five thousand ters range once again. But this ti, he spread out the power of the purple crystal while trying to rush in at full force.
But before long, he was pushed away by the power of the world. The purple intent coming from him was also rejected and violently pushed away.
Grey looked at this with a calm expression on his face. But he went for the third ti. This ti, Grey used everything that he had and rushed forward. In an instant, he phases through one thousand ters and entered the four thousand ter range.
But it was as if no matter how fast he went, he would be expelled by the laws surrounding the black star.
However, even after being sent off, Grey did not mind and continued rushing forward. If he was able to reach the black star without any form of resistance, he would naturally be wary.
But now that he saw this resistance, he realized that this was an obstacle he needed to surpass. If he couldn’t, then he shouldn’t even think about trying to control the power of the laws.
Hence, several hours passed as Grey rushed towards the black star countless tis. But he was also rebounded away countless tis. But even with all the rejection, his expression never changed once.
He only tightened his resolve and went again. After another hours, Grey managed rush into the five thousand ter range and the four thousand ter range. But before he could enter the two thousand ter range, he was t with violent resistance and was pushed away.
For the first ti, Grey’s expression changed a bit. Although he still looked the sa, his illusionary body had taken sone damage from the violent rebound this ti.
’This won’t work! Even if I manage to cross the five thousand ters mark at once, when I reach the black star, I will imdiately get sent away. The supressive intent from the purple crystal is just too much that even the laws are wary.’ Grey said inwardly with a slightly pale face.
If things went like this, then it would take a long ti for him to just cross the five thousand ter mark.
Hence, Grey decided to not act rashly snd think of another way to get past the resistance.
"If I keep on spreading the intent of the purple crystal, then I’ll naturally keep on being sent away by the laws. The only way for to get through... is to hide the supressive intent of the purple crystal." Grey suddenly realized and started to withdraw the supressive and domineering aura into his body.
In a few breaths of ti, all the intent of suppression spreading out from him was called back into his body. Grey’s eyes then burned with a strange violet hue as he rushee forwarf one more ti.
But this ti was different. When he entered the five thousand ters range, he was t with little resistance. It was as if the laws were ignoring him.
Slightly elated, Grey continued forward steadily. In short amount of ti, Grey crossed the four thousand ter mark, and the three thousand ter mark, then the two thousand thousand ter mark...
It was only when he entered the one thousand ter that he felt so slight resistance. But compared to the other tis that he had been resisted by the laws, this was nothing.
In a few breaths of ti, Grey rushed forward and arrived before the black star that contained the power of the laws.
