Now reading: Chapter 87- Pocket Dimension (3) from Void Cultivation, a Eastern novel by Lonesomefellow.

But he wasn’t afraid! The Nascent Soul Transformation cultivator had said that this would happen when one was getting close to the Vortex. An underwater pathway would be ford leading to the Vortex.

So Grey didn’t panic, and instead guided his ship gently down the narrow walls of sea water. Because the walls were so narrow, there could not be an opportunity to turn back. So his only choice was to go forward anyways.

As his magic ship progressed slowly, a thought took shape in his mind.

’Hmm, could this be a trap? No, I doubt a Nascent Soul Transformation expert would arrive just to set a trap for Qi accumulation and Foundation Establishnt realm cultivators. But it ans that the danger here is real, or the beings resideing in these calm and eerie waters are very powerful. They could also be drawn in by the Vortex.’

Several minutes later, Grey ca out from the walls of sea water and into a large spacious area clear of sea water. He no longer needed to illuminate the area around his boat as he could see clearly through the transparent ceiling of sea water.

As Grey looked further, he saw many other entrances with so magic ships coming out of narrow walls of sea water, much like his.

The entire area was over hundred thousand ters and right in the middle was a blueish white vortex. Many boasts drifted on the water many ters away to avoid being sucked in.

Grey also felt a strange and subtly desire to enter the huge vortex. His magic ship even started drifting towards the Vortex via a suction force in the water. Grey expression turned to one of a frown before he suppressed it.

Looking around him, he saw many other magic ships around. Among them, he could recognize so cultivators he had seen at the gathering several days ago.

Also among them, he saw the slender cultivator sitting distantly on his cold magic ship. As if sensing his gaze, he pulled out of deep thought and looked at Grey. He also recognized him and nodded slightly as a sign of acknowledgent.

Grey nodded back to the slender youth curtly and quickly took his gaze away back to the spinning Vortex in the black water. All the cultivators from various races, sects and academies were gathered around all at once.

"Good to see you all again! The ti to enter the pocket world will soon be upon us." A booming voice suddenly echoed in the black underwater sea.

Grey glanced around but be couldn’t find who spoke. But he recognized it was the voice of the Nascent Soul Transformation cultivator that was present at the gathering the other day.

"In a few minutes, the barrier sealing the Vortex will be at it’s weakest and I will tear a gap through for you all to enter!" As soon as he said that, Grey felt everywhere suddenly turn extrely cold and little traces of unknown energy that was very similar to spirit energy, and the cold yin energy he was familiar with appeared.

Everyone present also felt the change in the atmosphere and knew that the ti was almost truly upon them.

’This foreign energy that feels like spirit energy must be the Celestial Qi that the slender youth was talking about! It feels much purer and although tainted with corrosive substances, it gave a feeling of holiness and pureness. Similar triats that are shared with Divinity. As for the Cold yin energy, it’s practically the sa but more colder than the ones I’ve cultivated.’ Grey said silently in his mind.

He suddenly felt anticipation and apprehension towards this pocket dinsion he would be entering.

While he was still thinking this, the black sea water seed to turn even colder. The spinning Vortex spinnrd even faster and it turn bluish black. The amount of Celestial Qi and Cold yin energy seeping out was even more now.

Grey heard a cold groan resound in his ears and the sound of sothing being ripped apart echoed. The Vortex suddenly turned more brighter with excessive Celestial Qi and Cold yin energy crazily rushing out.

"All of you, go now! Before the native creatures sense the gap and try to rush out." The Nascent Soul Transformation cultivator’s voice sounded a bit strained. Like he was busy stretching open a gap in space.

Imdiately he spoke finish, the nurous Magic ships suddenly sped up. The cultivators now longer held back their magic ships from drifting as they rushed towards the Vortex in a bid to be the first to enter the pocket dinsion.

A loud bang suddenly resounded as a strong blast of energy was heard going off. A magic ship dozens of ters away from Grey’s was blasted into smithereens. Splinters of wood flew out! Grey heard a pained groan behind him.

The cultivator’s whose magic ship was smashed apart fell into the black water. And so, as the first ship got destroyed, the sa instances continued with several magic ships being destroyed in the race to the Vortex.

Grey’s eyes suddenly widened as he turned around and punched out. The sound of air breaking and a fist sized air cannon rang out and connected to a blast of spirit energy that was coming his way.

The two blasts cancelled each other out. A cackle resounded as the cultivator who shot out the blast of spirit energy laughed out wickedly. He clapped his hands as if he was being entertained.

With the gesture of his hand, Grey’s magic ship suddenly did a 180 degree turn. The wicked and gleeful expression on the cultivator’s face froze as he saw this.

The next thing he saw was a blast of Golden light. He quickly pulled up his barrier on his magic ship but the bright golden light broke it with ease and the next mont, the whole ship was destroyed and set afla with bright golden flas that radiated divinity.

"Divinity!"

A middle aged cultivator in the Foundation Establishnt realm shouted with his mouth wide open in fear and wariness. The following blasts suddenly paused as Grey’s magic ship beca the center of attention.

But Grey did not seem to mind. His Magic ship continued the 180 degree turn and made a full 360 turn, facing the large spinning Vortex thousands of ters away. His magic ship swiftly continued onward.

***

Seemingly invisible to the other cultivators, the Nascent Soul Transformation cultivator, who was sitting Cross-legged on a pill of over two ters in size opened his eyes and looked at Grey with a bit of uncertainty.

But he closed his eyes very soon and focused on keeping the Vortex open. But he secretly rembered Grey’s aura and the style of his Magic ship.

’’This youth has left an impression on ...’’ He said with a soft sigh that echoed through space but no one seed to hear him. This was the power of a Nascent Soul Transformation expert!

It was unknown who used this brief mont of silence as an opportunity to launch an attack. But the mont the first bang rang out, everywhere was thrown into chaos!

Grey’s cold eyes scanned the black waters as he readied his cannon to attack. But no one was willing to shoot at him after his decisive attacks.

The slender youth looked at Grey with a look of profoundness before casting a handseal in midair. An inscription appeared and was weaved into existence out of ethereal yellow strings.

His magic ship suddenly began to transform! The wood took new shape and the masts folded into themselves. The slender ship took on an even more aerodynamic look and sunk into the water.

When Grey glanced underneath the water with his perception, he sense a wooden object flying through the black water towards the spinning Vortex at an amazing speed.

"His magic ship can transform into a submarine?" Grey muttered when he saw this scene. He then waved his hand and the three huge masts on his magic ship seed to have been pushed by a large gust of wind which quickly accelerated his speed.

He soon caught up with the slender youth and was only a few ters behind. A random blast of energy was suddenly thrown towards the slender youth’s submarine, but Grey’s magic ship quickly accelerated again.

He punched out and an air cannon the shape of his fist collided with the approaching blast of energy. A loud bang akin to the explosion of a small bomb was heard. The entire underwater black sea trembled a bit.

Grey’s magic ship overtook the slender youth’s submarine. But his ship soon slowed down until he was directly over the slender youth’s submarine.

A graceful yet tyrannical magic ship with a divine aura cut through the black and crimson waters with a mysterious and cold cultivator standing quietly on top the bow, while a slender and aerodynamic submarine navigated through the dense water with a slender youth standing inside a protective barrier on what looked to be the bow of a magic ship.

Their two different ships seed to align as one. With Grey’s graceful yet tyrannical ship and steered through the waters on top, while another slender yet sleek submarine cut through the waters below.

Anyone who witnessed this scene now would surely be shocked and awed.

The slender youth looked at Grey and made a gesture of appreciation, while Grey nodded that he acknowledged him and continued to be a form of protection for the slender youth. Together, they closed in on the spinning Vortex and were sucked in at the next mont.
