Now reading: Chapter 93- I warned you (2) from Void Cultivation, a Eastern novel by Lonesomefellow.

The reason why Grey didn’t attempt to catch the box was quite simple, he didn’t trust the female cultivator! From her earlier actions, he could tell that despite her lovely appearance, she was quite shrewd and callous.

Why would he risk sothing exploding in his face just because it might be a treasure? After dying twice, he valued his life more than anything. Including cultivation arts, magic treasures and the likes.

But that was not to say that he was happy with the sly trick she had tried to pull on him. If he had indeed attempted to catch the box, he would probably be reducing to stripes of flesh and piles of bones.

After concocting poison several tis and claiming to be slightly knowledgeable in the field, he could tell from the blackened water that the potion inside was very potent.

It was so potent that it corroded the imdiate waters and corrupted the imdiate creatures in the vicinity without the lid even being opened. This scenes made his pupils dilate in shock.

He then wondered how the females cultivator was able to toss it without being poisoned herself. When he looked closer, he saw her hand twitching a lot until her right hand turned a little before a skin colored glove was revealed.

Without a doubt, the skin colored glove on her right hand was the reason why she was able to survive a direct contact with the silver tal box.

’So that’s how it is...’ Grey said silently. As the four magic ships on the surface of the water turned into small dots before rapidly disappearinh, Grey turned serious.

He brought out another flight taliman and stuck it to his body. His speed increased and he was catching up to the female cultivator.

Once she saw this, she sounded aggrieved but still hurriedly brought out another talisman and stuck to her own body. Now their speed was about the sa and Grey had no way of catching up.

His eyes narrowed into slits and without hesitation, he pulled out two more flight talisman and stuck them to his body. Now a total of flight talismans were stuck to his body and his speed could rival the casual flight of a Foundation establishnt cultivator.

As Grey quietly stuck flight talismans to increase his speed, the female cultivator would shake in fear and add more to her body as well to prevent him from catching up. Her fear of him kept on increasing with every passing second.

Snow fell from the land above but what gave her shivers was Grey’s silently catching up to her while looking on with a nonchalant expression. And although she couldn’t tell his face because of the cloak he wore, she had a feeling that his expression right now was that of a detached person.

This continued until the clouds in between the sky and land darkened. The boundless river turned agitated as water was being thrown everywhere.

At so point, snow had stopped falling and rain had drizzling instead. The boundless river churned and spun as if there was a giant mouth breathing underneath the water.

Suddenly, the sound of the air being torn through by an existence that was above this realm was heard. With a small frown, Grey instinctively looked up.

The female cultivator also looked up, but her vision couldn’t pierce the dense dark clouds. But Grey, who possessed dragons eyes and had managed to completely comprehend it at the Sky Mist entrance exam was easily able to see beyond the thick dark clouds.

But what he saw made him shudder backwards. Grey felt an intense pressure fall on him as he looked at the gigantic eagle flying in the space between the endless continent and the boundless river.

It had the neck of a crocodile, the tail of a falcon, the feet of a dragon, manes like a lion and the head of a white eagle.

This made the bizarre existence looked terrifying and unholy to look at. The heavy feeling of looking at divinity made Grey reel back in pain as he rembered sothing the Captain once told him, that it could be an act of blasphemy to God.

And that was to ’never look directly at God!’ Although the bizarre existence was not a God, neither could it be compared to the gigantic hand that imposed over the entire world, a divine bizarre existence had qualities of godhood and the words could also be applied to them.

But before he could retract his gaze from such an unholy presence that made clouds appear to shield others from just looking at it, he saw the mouth of the eagle move as if speaking.

Grey found out the words it had spoken in the next mont, but his already swelling up eyes that could burst at any mont saw an even more bizarre seen.

Sitting on the head of the bizarre flying existence that could not be asured in words was a beautiful woman.

This woman had pale white hair and her pupils were that that of a tiger. She sat cross legged while looking forward with a blank expression on her face!

But when she felt a gaze on her, she subconsciously looked at Grey! Grey felt as if he was struck by lightning. His spirit sea rumbled and the waters churned.

A bright white fla suddenly caught on the surface of the spirit sea and soon it spread. Grey felt as if his spirit sea was burning! His entire body shook repeatedly as he coughed out several mouthfuls of blood.

His expression turned deathly pale and so of his internal organs even began to explode into blood and flesh. Grey hurried to retract his gaze but found that he couldn’t move at all.

It was only when the female sitting on the bizarre existence head looked away did he regain any feeling in his body.

He quickly retracted his gaze and began to stuff dicine into his mouth hurriedly. After that, he waved his hand and sat down crosslegged on the deck of his magic ship. Then, he entered his spirit sea to quench the divine flas that had begun to burn all his spirituality.

When the female cultivator saw Grey fall from the sky, she was first alard. But when she saw him spitting out blood and his eyes so red that they could explode at any mont, she beca shocked.

Until she rembered that Grey had set his sights on the clouds before he suddenly got injured by looking at sothing he wasn’t supposed to.

She resisted the urge to also probe and take a peek over the clouds, but when she saw Grey’s condition, she quickly ca to a decision.

Seeing Grey injured, she pondered on whether to kill him herself or leave when she could. In the end, she gave up in the idea of filling him and fled instead.

When Grey saw that she had fled, only then did he fully enter his spirit sea. The illusionary purple moon hanging in the sky trembled as if it was being shaken by the divine flas.

The purple crystal had already begun to react at so unknown point in ti, desperately trying to stop the divine flas from burning his spirit sea to ashes.

But it was for naught. The purple crystal was capable of sealing most energies and divine energies, but this flas were caused by looking at a God. Or looking at a being that was very close to godhood.

It couldn’t quench the flas and could only push it to a portion of his spirit sea. Their, the divine flas were wrapped by layers of purple light that kept breaking into pieces after a while. But since it was his spirit sea, new purple light kept enveloping the flas after the old ones broke.

By the ti it took Grey and the purple crystal to seal away the divine flas, one week had already passed!

Grey still felt the pain and agony of his spirit sea burning, but it had been reduced to a minimum since the flas were only burning in a small area.

Seeing that he couldn’t quench the flas any ti soon, Grey let the purple crystal continue to suppress the white flas passively. At the least, his spirit sea was not in danger any ti soon.

Now he could focus on healing his body from the internal injuries he obtained from looking at an existence he wasn’t supposed to.

When Grey ca out of ditation, be found his body to be in an extrely pathetic state. His internal organs had all collapsed at so point in ti. Now he had to go through the pain of growing new ones.

Good thing he had entered the seventh level so days ago. Only cultivators from the seventh level and upwards could actively grow new organs.

The deck of his magic ship had been dyed crimson already with strips of dead flesh splayed all around.

With a pained groan, Grey began the healing process. His pale and miserable expression hidden by the mysterious cloak was filled with pain and agony. Only pain clouded his thoughts and muddled his sight.

After two weeks, Grey had fully healed up and was no longer under the shadow of death. With clear eyes no longer muddled by pain, he cleaned up the dried pool of blood and his already decayed flesh.

He then recalled what he had heard the weird eagle like bizarre existence say.

"It said, ’I warned you’..."
