Mo Shan limped while trying to flee. She had made out from past experience that the person just wanted to scare her. The car always stopped short of hitting her at the crucial moment.

The person behind the wheel had received an order which was unknown to her. Placing his phone down, the driver let off his foot on the brake pedal and floored the accelerator, driving straight towards the woman in front.
A bolt of lightning struck across the dark night sky when Mo Shan felt something amiss behind her. She instinctively turned around.
It was too late. The car hit her head-on and sent her flying. She fell to the ground and rolled further out for two meters before grinding to a halt.
Blood quickly reddened the puddles in the alley. Meanwhile, the car continued to drive past her and conveniently ran over her right hand.
At the other end of the alley, the car watching the show had long gone.

On the next day, Lu Zhaoyang woke up early in the morning because of the sore eyes.

Meanwhile, downstairs of Serena Apartments, Huo Chen sat in the car, looking out at the window on the third floor.
It had been ten days, and the lights in Yang Yang’s home had never lit up.
During this period, he had gone up there and knocked on the door several times, but no one answered.
Did she really move to Yunting’s place? He asked himself.
Huo Chen held a cigarette that flickered in his slender fingers. But his eyes were fixated on the apartment window.

Just then, a pair of headlamps approached from behind. Huo Chen ignored it and continued to puff at the cigarette.
The vehicle stopped behind his. A woman got out of the car and hurried up the apartment.
Then, Huo Chen saw Lu Zhaoyang’s room lighten up.
He quickly stubbed out the cigarette and sat up straight. He could not help but cast an eye on the car behind him.
Who was it? How did the woman get the key to Yang Yang’s apartment?
About half an hour later, the woman came down and drove away from Serena Apartments.
Huo Chen immediately turned his car around and followed the vehicle in front until the woman nosed her car into a hospital.
His heart missed a beat.
Was Yang Yang sick? He did not even get news of her. He thought for a moment and figured that it must be Huo Yunting who had put a lid on it.
Huo Chen tailed the woman to a VIP ward and quietly marked the location before making a call as he walked away.

Two days had passed since then. Lu Zhaoyang had been waiting but Huo Yunting still did not show up.
The doctor told her that her wounds had mostly healed and she could be discharged tomorrow.
