The aura was so intense it was dripping like liquid. That not only ant the beast was powerful—it also indicated noble bloodline, no re wild beast from the mountains.
And Wang Shouyi’s guess was spot-on.
As soon as he sensed the monster’s realm, his heart sank.
He was already in the Golden Core Stage, and even among his peers, he was one of the strongest. The beasts he’d fought either ran or died. Wherever he went, he felt like a walking powerhouse.

Mastered fully, this technique could shatter mountains and tear ridges apart. Its power was imnse.
But the mont his strike reached Hakyryu’s head—
Buzz! A dark shield suddenly appeared three inches above it.
Like a hemispherical shell flipped over, the sword energy and blade struck it like a fist into a pillow. The shield dented inward—but didn’t crack at all.
“AAAHHH!” Wang Shouyi roared, trying to pour more power into the sword through sheer volu.
Hakyryu had already been a little grumpy about becoming soone’s mount.
Now, fresh out the gate, he was attacked by so Golden Core nobody?
Of course he was pissed.
He stepped forward—and BOOM, the shield exploded with force, blasting Wang Shouyi like a cannonball into the wall.
“Hakyryu, what the h*ll are you doing?!”
Just coming out fully dressed, Chen Huaian was instantly blinded with rage.
He kicked Hakyryu in the knee.
Luckily, Hakyryu had held back—he knew anyone in the Exorcist Division was either a colleague or ally.

“T-This is Hakyryu?”
Zhao Ying wore a look that scread “Are you f**king kidding ?”
Xiang Xiaoyuan didn’t look much better. She leaned against the wall, legs still weak.
Hakyryu, ever the showoff, stepped forward, lifted his head and chest proudly, displaying his massive form to bring glory to his Boss.

Everyone finally accepted the truth: Hakyryu was now a giant monster.
Wang Shouyi still felt shaken. Even though Hakyryu was only mid-Golden Core, the combat power he unleashed was probably on par with a late-stage Immortality Seeker.

A sharp noise echoed across the sky—the sound of sothing cutting through the air at high speed.
