Now reading: Chapter 120: Ch 120: Skin Tempering from Walker Of The Blue Sky, a Fantasy novel by RazaKarim.

Emrys took a deep breath and focused his mind, shifting his attention from Soul Spirits to his Soul Marks. He had already spent so ti observing his Soul Spirits, and now it was ti to turn his attention to his Soul Marks. Among them, the one that stood out the most was the Walker of the Blue Sky. This Soul Mark was special. Not only was it a Mythical-grade Soul Mark, but it also had the ability to connect with the vastness of space.

Closing his eyes, Emrys began to channel his Soul Force. He controlled his Soul Force, guiding it towards his first Soul Mark, the Walker of the Blue Sky. As his Soul Force made contact with the Soul Mark, a subtle vibration was produced.

The Soul Mark, the Walker of the Blue Sky, began to glow faintly, responding to Emrys’s Soul Force. This Soul Mark acted as a bridge, a dium through which he could reach out into the void and attract space-attributed energy. Emrys focused on this connection, deepening it with each passing mont.

As he concentrated, he attracted the space-attributed energy from the void. The space-attributed energy responded to his call and started swarming toward him like an invisible wind. It felt cold and vast, like the emptiness of space itself.

The space-attributed energy began to flow into his body, and Emrys directed it with precision.

Last ti, Emrys tempered his veins with space-attributed energy. Now that his veins had already adapted to this energy, it was ti to start real tempering.

Emrys started with his skin, allowing the space-attributed energy to seep into his pores. The sensation was strange, almost like a gentle tingling, but he could feel the energy starting to temper his body. His skin began to toughen, becoming more resilient to external forces.

The space-attributed energy worked its way through his skin fibers, strengthening them and increasing their density. He could feel his skin becoming more tough and powerful. For a mont, he even felt that just the toughness of his was enough for him to exert greater force in his attacks, mainly in physical attacks.

The process of tempering was slow and required imnse concentration, but Emrys remained focused, knowing that this tempering would make him much stronger.

After all, with each tempering, Emrys will beco more adaptable to space-attributed energy. And there will co a day when he can manipulate space-attributed energy with his will alone.

As the space-attributed energy continued to flow, Emrys continued to temper his skin. The energy penetrated his every pore, reinforcing them again and again.

It was also at this ti, Emrys’s face distorted due to pain.

Yes, Emrys started to feel pain. A sensation of skin burning appeared on his body, making him groan.

He knew he had to endure. He could not afford to lose his concentration at this mont. Otherwise, all his efforts will be wasted and he would have to start tempering his skin again.

The burning sensation also ans that the tempering of his skin is about to complete.

Emrys could feel his heart beating faster and his lungs drawing in more air with each breath. This skin tempering was vital and he was focused completely on it. However, he needed stamina to do any work.

His stamina was being consud during the tempering process. His eyes started to blur, but he bit his lips and concentrated.

Throughout the process, Emrys maintained a steady flow of Soul Force, ensuring that the connection with his Soul Mark remained strong. He could feel the space-attributed energy continuously flowing into his body through veins. The process was long and required patience, but Emrys was determined to see it through to the end.

As the tempering continued, Emrys could feel the changes taking place within him. His skin was becoming stronger, and more resilient. The space-attributed energy was a powerful force, and with each passing mont, he could feel its effects more profoundly.

After what felt like hours, Emrys finally opened his eyes. He could feel the difference in his body. The strength and resilience brought about by the space-attributed energy was enormous.

Emrys took a deep breath, feeling his skin closely. On the surface, there was no change, but Emrys knew that he was much stronger than before now that the skin-tempering process was complete.

"Skin Tempering was easy, but the next muscle tempering will be going to be difficult. I also have to be prepared to temper my bones and internal organs. It is a very long process and requires ti. Hurrying will make my efforts go to waste. It is good to take one step at a ti."

Emrys muttered in a low voice and continued to observe his body. Finally, he stood up and stretched his arms.

Next, he focused on Mu Bailing.

It was already the next day. Emrys walked to Mu Bailing, picked her up, and carried her on his shoulder.

After that, "woosh", Emrys disappeared using the Origin Skill, Node Shift.

.....

About an hour later, Emrys could be seen sitting inside a small cave. This cave was occupied by a smaller beast earlier, but Emrys killed the beast and started to rest there.

There was no corpse because the beast killed by him transford into countless fragnts of light and entered his body, becoming a part of the Cosmic Essence Core.

"I don’t have any healing dicine. How should I heal her?"

Although the whirlpool of light had extracted every bit of death energy from Mu Bailing’s body, the injuries she suffered while running to escape with Emrys were still serious. She urgently needed a healing dicine to recover, otherwise, she might never wake up again.

Emrys was determined to heal her because only then could he ask her why she risked her own life for his sake.

However, not having any ans to heal injuries left him helpless. He does not have his backpack. Even his blade was no longer with him. Everything on his body had been lost sowhere in this hellish land.

Due to all this, Emrys had no choice but to think of a different solution. Ti was of the essence, as Mu Bailing’s injuries would only deteriorate with each passing mont.
