Thousands of Blood Demon Bugs entered the domain of Emrys’s Aura of Brilliance, falling to the ground one after another. They weren’t dead but completely drained of energy, unable to move. Even the Third and Fourth Step Bugs put up only a brief struggle before succumbing.
Rufi was astounded, never imagining she’d witness such an extraordinary sight.
How did Emrys do it?
What Emrys had just accomplished was beyond even Chief Bohu’s capabilities.
All of a sudden, the golden light within the range of the Aura of Brilliance shifted and ford a protective shield around Rufi.
This was Light Manipulation, another ability Emrys could execute only when Aura of Brilliance was active.
Emrys didn’t overthink it. He waved his hand and easily manipulated the light.
The next instant, golden light within the range of his Aura of Brilliance surged, forming into countless small and extrely thin needles of golden light in the air.
"Go!"
Imdiately after that, Emrys pointed at the bugs and called out.
With a simple command, "Go," the needles started raining down furiously, swiftly taking the lives of all the Blood Demon Bugs that had fallen to the ground. In less than ten seconds, more than thousands of bugs were killed. The instant they were killed, they shattered into countless fragnts of light and shot into Emrys’s body.
Emrys imdiately felt his cultivation rising automatically. He was already at the peak of the Sixth Step, only a thin layer away from climbing the Seventh Step. The continuous flow of thousands of bugs instantly attacked that thin layer, shattering it.
The energy from thousands of Second Step Bugs was enough to break that thin layer, making Emrys’s path clear. Emrys imdiately felt an overwhelming energy circulating within his body with a fixed point as their destination. That fixed point was the Cosmic Essence Core.
A few seconds later, the patterns on the surface of the Cosmic Essence Core light up. A burst of extrely pure energy exploded forth and an extra star pattern ford at the depth of Emrys’s eyes. This was the seventh Star Pattern, representing his status as a Seventh Step Warrior.
Isn’t it too easy to build the foundation to cultivate the Cosmic Cultivation System?
Emrys could not help but think, not finding the Cosmic Cultivation System a difficult path to step in. In fact, to Emrys, the Cosmic Cultivation System appeared to be even easier than cultivating in the Soul Cultivation System.
All he needed to do was kill a few creatures and his strength would keep increasing.
It’s important to understand that each step of the Foundation Building’s twelve steps represents a significant cultivation realm. For example, a First Step Warrior is equivalent to a Soul Apprentice, although the First Step Warrior is stronger.
In the sa way, a Second Step Warrior is akin to a Bronze Soul Master, a Third Step Warrior to a Silver Soul Master, a Fourth Step Warrior to a Secret Silver Soul Master, a Fifth Step Warrior to a Gold Soul Master, a Sixth Step Warrior to a Brilliant Gold Soul Master, and a Seventh Step Warrior to a Purple Crystal Soul Master.
Emrys was now a Seventh Step Warrior, which is equivalent to a Purple Crystal Soul Master. However, Emrys was already much stronger than a typical Soul Master.
Nonetheless, Soul Masters have their unique advantages. They can influence, attack, and defend against souls. Their souls are inherently stronger. Most importantly, they have a predetermined path for the future. As long as they don’t die prematurely, they are destined to beco the ones defined by their Soul Marks. There is no doubt about it.
It has to be known that Emrys was only an Advanced Gold Soul Master in his original cultivation system, but can fight against a Purple Crystal Soul Master with his Seventh Step strength.
Just the sensation of becoming more and more powerful gave him a comfortable and intoxicating sense of confidence and invincibility.
Taking a deep breath, Emrys suppressed his excitent and continued to kill. More and more Blood Demon Bugs were killed, but the bugs didn’t stop coming.

The more bugs Emrys killed, the angrier the remaining Blood Demon Bugs beca. Their rage drove them to keep attacking, determined to kill Emrys, their relentless foe. They continued to enter the range of Emrys’s Aura of Brilliance, but as soon as they did, their energy was instantly drained. In the next instant, a golden needle would strike, ending their lives. Monts after their death, they would shatter into fragnts of energy and enter Emrys’s body.
This process beca a cycle, and this cycle continued to operate as the Blood Demons Bug never stopped swarming over and entering Emrys’s Aura of Brilliance.
Rufi watched everything in shock, unable to believe what she was seeing. Emrys’s display of power had given her a big shock. Not to ntion, the corpse’s shattering and entering Emrys’s body brought a whole new world in front of her.
Once again, she could not help but think how Emrys was able to do such a mystical thing.
Despite the overwhelming number of bugs, Emrys remained focused and composed. His light manipulation was precise and deadly. The golden needles continued to rain down, piercing through the bugs with ease. Each bug that fell only seed to fuel the anger of the swarm, but they were powerless against Emrys’s Aura of Brilliance.
The cycle continued: the bugs entered the aura, were drained of their energy, and were then struck down by a golden needle.
Emrys’s strength continued to rise as well.
As the last Blood Demon Bug was killed and entered Emrys’s body, a powerful fluctuation erupted from Emrys’s body, rising high in the sky.
An eighth star appeared at the depth of Emrys’s eyes. It also ans he was now an Eighth Step Warrior, much more powerful than a Purple Crystal Soul Master.
Back in the Great Fla Kingdom, the strongest are Purple Crystal Soul Masters.
Emrys was now powerful enough to sweep through the entire Great Fla Kingdom and kill anyone he wanted and no one would be willing to beco his enemy.
Emrys’s aura cald down soon enough, but the impact his rise in power dealt to Rufi’s mind was heavy. She just could not believe her eyes and felt like everything was a dream.
