Back when Emrys was dealing with the Scaled Lungfish, he used his Spatial Blade ability and brought out only a portion of its power by executing the technique with a blade. To truly unleash the full potential of this ability, he needed to condense the Spatial Blade using raw Space Energy instead of relying on a weapon.
This ti, he could have condensed the Spatial Blade to easily deal with the giant serpent, but he still felt that this beast was not worthy of him using this Origin Skill directly. Instead, he decided to manipulate spatial energy and use the spear in his hand as a blade to execute the Spatial Blade.
Since he was using a different weapon, the strength and sharpness behind the attack might decrease significantly, but it would certainly increase the lethality of the attack—perhaps enough to kill the serpent.
Emrys stood still for a mont, his eyes locked on the serpent. The Silver Whirlpool inside the Mystic Energy Core swirled with great force. He could feel the spatial energy swirling running inside his body, waiting to be unleashed.
"Hiss!"
The serpent sensed the sudden shift in the air and looked around nervously. Its once nacing gaze turned wary. The serpent felt sothing dangerous was about to happen and wanted to look for the source. It never realized that the human before it was no ordinary opponent.
Emrys gripped his spear tightly, channeling spatial energy through it. The spear’s tip began to shimr with a silver light as the energy condensed around it, causing the spear to hum with power. The air around the spear distorted slightly, as if space itself was being bent by the imnse energy.
The serpent’s instincts scread danger. It imdiately understood that this human was trying to do sothing that might prove to be extrely dangerous for its very existence. It recoiled as its massive body slithered backward in an attempt to escape. But it was too late.
Emrys never planned to let the serpent escape in the first place. Now that the preparation had already been done, he thrust the spear forward with a swift, fluid motion.

The Spear cut through the air with a soundless precision. The attack was so fast that it seed as though ti itself had slowed down. The serpent’s eyes widened in terror as it tried to dodge, but the spear was unstoppable.
In an instant, the spear pierced the serpent’s scales, but it wasn’t just a simple stab as before. The sharp space energy extended beyond the physical spear, slicing through the serpent’s body as though it were cutting through paper. The attack was so precise and so lethal that the serpent didn’t even have ti to roar in pain.
A split second later, the serpent’s massive body fell to the ground with a heavy thud. The cut was clean, almost too perfect for such a large creature.
Emrys stood over the fallen beast, his expression calm and focused. The serpent’s eyes were still wide with fear. Its body twitched slightly as the last remnants of life faded away.
As it died, the serpent’s massive body shattered into countless fragnts of energy and rushed towards Emrys.
Emrys had already experienced this kind of process countless tis so he was not worried. He let the energy enter his body. The next mont, his strength started to increase rapidly. He was already at the peak of the Tenth Step. In just a few seconds, sothing inside him broke and he leaped another step forward, climbing the eleventh step successfully.
Just like that, Emrys beca an Eleventh Step Warrior.
Feeling the rushing strength inside his body, a broad smile appeared on his face. He could feel the Cosmic Energy within his body becoming denser with many folds. During his breakthrough, the patterns on the Cosmic Essence Blade also lit up this ti. Everything went smoothly.
He then looked at his surroundings and started walking deeper. After a tough fight, he no longer had the mood to observe the plants inside the passage.
He walked another hundred ters deeper into the cave and ca to a massive bronze gate. The gate was plain and unadorned, with a simple design. At its center, a giant tree was engraved, and above the tree, a phoenix was depicted in flight. Apart from these two carvings, there was nothing particularly remarkable about the bronze gate.
What caught Emrys’s eyes was a tall pillar made out of the cave’s wall. This pillar was right beside the bronze gate and was quite eye-catching due to several large words written on its surface.
Emrys was unable to read these words since he didn’t know this language, but the words appeared to be ancient.
The vitality at this place was several tis denser than the place where Emrys had appeared previously. It was so dense that Emrys started to feel uncomfortable. It was suffocating.

Vitality is a good thing. The more vitality you have, the stronger your life force, the stronger your stamina, and the more you can live.
No one would say no to extra vitality.
But this place had so much that people would not want to stay there for long.
To Emrys’s shock, he noticed sothing small and green had started growing on his foot. When he took a closer look, he was shocked to see mosses growing on his feet.
"How can this be?"
Emrys was shocked and frightened. He hurriedly grabbed the grown mosses and forcefully pulled them out, causing blood to spray out from the holes left behind by mosses.

Emrys was frightened. Sothing rang inside his mind and he imdiately escaped, using Node Shift ability two tis continuously to co out of the Blazing Pond.
He hurriedly observed his body and noticed mosses on his clothes and skin as well.
Without thinking, he stripped and threw the clothes. Then he removed the mosses growing on his skin. Though it was painful, it was the only thing he could do.
After removing all mosses, he then activated the Aura of Brilliance and healed himself. Then he took out a set of clothes from Zhu Yan’s spatial ring and wore them.
"That was terrifying!"
Emrys looked at the mosses that he removed from his body and heaved a sigh of relief. If soone were to look closely, they would still find a trace of fear in his eyes. The vitality in front of the Bronze Gate was so dense that mosses actually started to grow on his body.
Had he not escaped in ti, who knows what might have happened to him?
Now, he was left with only one use of Node Shift. He thought for a few seconds and decided to look at what the High-tier Abyssal was doing. He also wanted to see whether or not High-tier Abyssal had noticed the disappearance of the Sunfire Heartseed.

It has to be known that the Abyssal was a Supre Stage High-tier Abyssal. In other words, he was comparable to an Eleventh Step Warrior. In fact, even among Eleventh Step Warriors, his strength might be at the top. But he was so easily killed by a man surrounded by countless bolts of lightning.

Emrys clenched his fist the instant he looked at Qin Huxiao’s face.
