"Ladies and gentlen, a warm welco to the grand auction event hosted by our Gale Pavilion Auction House. I extend my gratitude on behalf of Gale Pavilion Auction House for your unwavering support!"

On the stage, a middle-aged man ca forward. This man was the auctioneer of this grand auction. The auctioneer stood before the crowd, his eyes flashing with a hint of bizarre light as he looked at thousands of people below and hundreds of compartnts above.

"Today’s auction is special for several reasons. First are the items that are supposed to be auctioned. Second is the fact that everyone here has gathered from all around the world. This in itself is a remarkable event. All of you coming here from different corners of the world clearly shows how significant today’s auction is."

The auctioneer’s voice echoed throughout the hall. As he spoke, he swept his gaze across the gathered crowd, a smile tugging at his lips. "Many of you have traveled great distances, braving dangerous lands and fierce competition just to be here. And I assure you, your efforts will not go unrewarded."

He paused for a mont, letting the tension build before continuing, "So of the items that will be presented today are beyond the value of ordinary treasures. They include mysterious artifacts whose origins remain unknown, cultivation resources that could change the fate of a force, and even rare Soul Flas."

"You may have already seen today’s auction items, but I assure you, those are only for the first day," the auctioneer announced with a grin. "This is a Grand Auction that will last for three consecutive days, and the items for the next two days are kept strictly confidential. I suggest you stay for the entire duration, or you might miss out on sothing truly spectacular." His confident tone stirred the crowd, causing many to exchange curious glances.

"That’s right. Only the most discerning will get to see all the treasures we have lined up. So, I advise you all to make arrangents to remain here until the end. The items to be revealed in the next two days are far beyond the ones displayed today," he added, his words filled with a subtle hint of challenge.

Emrys glanced at Andrea, Laura, and Caruso. They could see a spark of interest in each other’s eyes. It seed like staying for all three days might indeed be worthwhile.

They were all looking at the big screen, which directly reflected images of everything happening on the stage.

"Everyone here must already be guessing what kind of items might be hidden away, but I promise that the reality will exceed your expectations!" the auctioneer continued with excitent. He raised his hands dramatically, as if presenting sothing grand. "Rare soul weapons, lost cultivation techniques, mysterious Soul Beasts, and... even so long-forgotten legacies. All of these and more await you. This kind of Grand Auction is sothing that only happens once in a lifeti, and this ti, it is being sponsored by the Federation directly."

His voice resonated through the hall, drawing the crowd in. His words caused a huge uproar among the people.

Andrea’s gaze turned thoughtful. "If the items being auctioned today are already so valuable, I can only imagine what they’ve kept hidden for the last day."

On the other hand, Emrys was thinking about the strange oval-shaped object. At first, he thought it might be the treasure Elysia talked about. But now, he was doubtful. After all, the list of items he browsed through was all only for the first-day auction items.

It is unknown what kind of items will appear on the second and third day.

It is likely that the treasure Elysia talked about is going to appear on the second or the third day. In any case, he has to bid for every item he feels suspicious about.

Emrys, however, didn’t care. He was now wealthier than most of the people present, and if his funds were sohow insufficient, he could simply offer so of his treasures to barter or trade.

The auctioneer smiled, as if sensing the thoughts running through the audience’s minds. He raised his voice one last ti, "Now, without further delay, let the Grand Auction begin!"

With a wave of his hand, the curtain behind him lifted, revealing the first item for the day. It was a brilliant blue orb, radiating a soft glow that filled the hall with a calming light.

"We present the first item for bidding. It is called the Night Sea Pearl. All of you must have seen the details about this item, but I’ll still explain for those who ca late and didn’t have ti to see the display. The Night Sea Pearl is an extraordinary gem ford from the essence of deep ocean waters under the light of a full moon. It is said to possess unique properties that enhance one’s connection to the water elent. It can even strengthen and nurture a water-elental Soul Mark. This makes it an invaluable treasure for any Soul Master who has water-attributed."

As the auctioneer continued, the crowd buzzed with excitent. Low mutters of admiration and speculation filled the air.

As murmurs of intrigue spread among the bidders, the auctioneer’s smile widened, "Let the bidding begin at 10 Million Credits. Each raise must be at least 1 million credits. Interested bidders can use the Bidding Device to raise the bids."

Emrys who was reclining on a plush sofa looked at the Night Sea Pearl on display. His expression didn’t change.

To the average person, the Night Sea Pearl might be a treasure, but to Emrys, it was rely an attractive bauble at this point. Of course, it was also due to the fact that he doesn’t have a water-attributed Soul Mark.

Many people started to increase their bids using the bidding device. No one called out to raise the bid.

Amidst Emrys’s utter boredom, the bidding was finalized and the Night Sea Pearl was sold.

"Let’s bring out the next item for auction!"

The auctioneer gestured from the podium, summoning a line of attendants who gracefully made their way to the stage from behind the curtains.

The lead attendant carefully held a tray, draped with a piece of red silk.

Swoosh!

As the red silk was removed, a burst of golden light dazzled the huge hall.

"This is the Golden Soul Mask obtained from an ancient ruin. The Golden Soul Mask weighs in at 1,500 grams. Its design is elegantly simple, adhering to the golden ratio. The surface is intricately patterned that exudes the essence of the ancient culture of our Infinite Soul Star."

Finishing his introduction, the auctioneer’s lips curled into a knowing smile as he added a hint of intrigue, "Legend has it that this Golden Mask is inscribed with a powerful spell. Whoever possesses it has a chance to obtain a random Soul Legacy left behind by a powerful Soul Master above Glowing Star Soul Master."

"We will now begin the auction," announced the auctioneer. "The opening bid is 50 million credits, with incrents of no less than 5 million credits."

The instant he finished speaking, people started to raise the bid for the mask. Obtaining the legacy of a Soul Master surpassing Glowing Star Soul Master is no small matter. For that, the opening price was a bit too low.

But of course, the auctioneer had already announced that obtaining the legacy is not certain. There is only a small chance for a Soul Master to obtain a legacy.

"What an exquisite Golden Mask!" Laura gazed at the shimring artifact on display and couldn’t contain her admiration.

Andrea nodded in agreent. Other than its uses, the mask’s golden sheen and the air of nobility it exuded deserved admiration from everyone.

"Indeed, it’s a remarkable piece of artifact. I didn’t expect the second item to already be this good."

A gleam of interest sparked in Emrys’s eyes. He was also interested in this mask, but then he thought about his ability to plunder souls. In the end, he let go of the idea to bid for it.

There is simply no need to waste his money on this thing.

On the other hand, Caruso’s eyes were glowing with fantastical light. Noticing Caruso’s intrigue, Laura said, "Caruso, you’re not considering bidding for this Golden Soul Mask, are you?"

"Actually, I am. It’s quite a fascinating piece! I’m thinking of going for it."

Saying that, Caruso raised the bid by 10 million credits.

The bid for this artifact was fierce. In less than five minutes, its price rose from 50 million credits to 120 million credits, and it was still going up.

The allure of the Golden Soul Mask had already drawn many guests into the bidding frenzy.

Onstage, the auctioneer’s eyes twinkled with delight as he saw the rising price. Competition always drove up the price. And this was only the second item. There were many such items for today’s auction.

In the end, Caruso successfully won the bid for this Golden Soul Mask, paying a total of 200 million credits which is not a low price at all.
