After Emrys shattered the space, the entire void-like hall began to collapse. The darkness around him started to fade and the Mist of Abyss was quickly absorbed by the deford sword.
In no ti, Emrys’s surroundings changed drastically. He returned to the main hall, where the person in black attire was sitting on the throne earlier. But this ti, only the throne was there. The person in black was nowhere to be seen.
Curently, the entire palace was shooking heavily. It was crumbling. The high ceiling, pillars, walls, and other such structures were crumbling into pieces, falling down, and turning into pieces of debris.
"How dare you?"
A roar echoed in the crumbling space. Simultaneously, the person in black, who had disappeared earlier, suddenly reappeared. His previous calm deanor was replaced by shock and anger. He never expected Emrys to be so capable that he even destroyed this palace that was being protected by Mist of Abyss, a special form of energy he obtained after hundreds of thousands of years of hard work and research.
"You dare disrupt my domain?" the person in black shouted at Emrys. Ripples of invisible energy started rising around his body. Clearly, he was ready to attack any second.
Emrys, on the other hand, remained calm. He was not terrified. Instead, a mocking smile appeared on his face. "You wanted to test , kill . Did you truly think I’ll play by your rules?"
"You..." Ripples of energy around the person in black intensified, but then it suddenly cald down. Then the person in black sighed, "You... are truly an Exception."
He admitted.
His dark form suddenly transford into fog, arriving in front of Emrys before materializing into a figure. Then he said, "However, no matter who you are, you’ll die when I want you to."
"Really?"
Just as the person in black raised his hand to attack, Emrys chuckled. He asked, "Then before killing , why don’t you tell the reason you want to kill ?"
"Because exceptions are hateful. They do nothing more than disrupt the order and go against natural laws. They only know how to create trouble everywhere they go. In every place they visit, the appearance of a bloodbath becos natural. Powerful forces lose their ground and even disappear. There are many reasons why an exception must be killed."
What Emrys never expected was that the person in black actually started telling him the reason. His ears perked up as he listened carefully. He truly wanted to know why this person hates soone who can break a rule and go against it!
The person in black did not disappoint Emrys. Very soon, he spoke of the real reason.
"That person was also an exception. Everywhere he went, chaos spread. He killed countless innocent people and destroyed not less than a hundred powerful forces. The peace disappeared. He was the one who destroyed my family, killed my father in front of my eyes, cut my mother’s tongue, and did many horrible things."
"Later, he only did one simple act of saving the world from invaders, and people started worshipping him as their hero. How hateful!"
"The most hateful thing about you exceptions is that you are too lucky. That damn bastard was also very lucky. Emrys suddenly understood why this person hated "Exception" so much. It turned out he had suffered under the hand of such a person.

A powerful aura erupted from that person’s body. The already crumbling palace shook heavily and suddenly crumbled entirely all of a sudden.
However, it didn’t affect Emrys or the person in black. They were safe and sound.
At so point, Emrys had already taken back the deford sword, holding it in his hand. An invisible layer of energy was shielding him, protecting his body from suffering any damage.
"Isn’t that so?"
Emrys kept the deford sword back in the Dark River and turned to the person in black. "See. Because of that one person, you are hating without any reason. Do you know ? You don’t know at all. Then how can you say wherever I go, I cause chaos and destruction? I never made destroyed any force..."
While speaking, Emrys suddenly recalled sothing. He did destroy a few families. Of course, those families were full of villains. Also, he is indeed lucky. Even in the fragnted Cosmic World, all the precious treasures always ended up in his hand, including the Sun & Moon Sword, the inheritance of Sage, and more.
The luckiest thing that recently happened to him was his encounter with Tiless Enlightennt Seed. It brought a huge change in him, transford him completely.
