Emrys received a lot of Lu Moyu’s mories. So of them were fragnted mories and so were complete. Unlike last ti when he lived as Lu Moyu, this ti, he only read and digested Lu Moyu’s mories.
It was also at this mont Emrys understood that the last ti was just a coincidence. He, living as Lu Moyu, was just an ’aftereffect’ of Tiless Enlightennt Sprout.
Leaving aside the complete mories, fragnted mories also attracted Emrys. One of the fragnted mories that caught Emrys’s attention was a scene where Lu Moyu was standing in a dark place.
This dark place was a part of the Abyss.
Here, everywhere was endless darkness. The ground was black, cracked, and lifeless. The sky was also dark, with no sun, no moon, and no stars. If there was anything then it was only emptiness.
However, this emptiness was different from the void. After all, there were material things present here.
This place was filled with strange mist. This mist was thick and heavy and floated around.
Lu Moyu stood in the middle of this place. He was wearing a long black robe and looked powerful. His eyes were cold, and his expression was emotionless. However, if one were to look closely, one could still see endless hatred in that pair of cold eyes.
As for who this hatred was directed at, Emrys didn’t even need to guess. The mories told him all. It was directed at the Cosmic Field called the Nine Heavens. He wanted nothing more than to destroy the Nine Heavens.
Millions of strange dark creatures were kneeling on the ground in front of him. These creatures had twisted bodies, sharp claws, and glowing red eyes. So had wings, so had long tails, and others had multiple arms. They all looked extrely terrifying.
But these terrifying creatures were bowing to Lu Moyu. Obviously, Lu Moyu’s status among Abyssal Creatures was not low. He was their leader, their ruler.
Lu Moyu lifted his hand, and the dark mist around him started moving. It gathered together, forming a huge black storm. Then Lu Moyu said, "We have been targeting Nine Heavens for hundreds of thousands of years, and finally, we’ve managed to create a loophole in its Cosmic mbrane. Now that Nine Heavens’ defenses are at their weakest point, it is ti for us to invade and swallow it."
Lu Moyu’s voice echoed through the darkness.

All the abyssal creatures roared in excitent, as if agreeing with him.
This fragnt of mory ended there, but it clearly showed that the first Cosmic Field that was invaded by abyssals ruled by Lu Moyu was Nine Heavens.
Emrys doesn’t know the outco of that invasion, but it doesn’t matter at all.
Emrys took a deep breath as he finished absorbing all of Lu Moyu’s mories.
However, he felt sothing was wrong.
Lu Moyu’s soul had been completely devoured and fused with his own soul without any problem. This was not normal.
Every soul had its own unique characteristics. So souls were pure and bright, filled with warmth and light. Others were dark and cold, filled with hatred and evil. Most souls had a balance between light and darkness.
Normally, when two souls try to fuse, many problems appear.
Souls are like living beings. They resist anything that does not belong to them. If two different souls are forced to rge, they fight against each other. The stronger soul might try to destroy the weaker one. If neither soul wins, they could clash endlessly, causing chaos in the body and mind.
If a soul filled with light tries to fuse with a soul filled with darkness, the balance inside the person will break. This could cause a person to lose control, go crazy, or even die.
Every soul carries mories, emotions, and experiences. If two souls rge, these mories mix together. Most people cannot handle this flood of information and end up losing their original selves.
If the fusion is not perfect, both souls could end up breaking apart. The person would either die or beco an empty shell, losing all sense of who they are.
Lu Moyu’s soul was completely dark. It was filled with hatred, destruction, and power belonging to the Abyss. It should have been impossible for Emrys to fuse with it so easily.
But nothing happened to him.
He didn’t feel pain.
He didn’t feel his soul rejecting Lu Moyu’s soul.
Instead, it felt very natural. It was as if both his soul and Lu Moyu’s soul had the sa characterstics. It was as if Lu Moyu’s soul had always been a part of him.
This ti, Emrys noticed the problem.
The first ti he absorbed and fused with a one-ninth portion of Lu Moyu’s soul, he was not knowledgeable. He didn’t understand much about souls back then. So, he didn’t think about it.
But now, he has experienced different worlds and gained a lot of information. His current knowledge is not sothing his previous self could be comapred with. It was mainly after digesting all of Lu Moyu’s mories, his knowledge had grown beyond what it used to be.
And now, a question appeared in his mind.
"Why? Why did I face no problem fusing with Lu Moyu’s soul?"
Emrys’s eyes darkened.
Sothing was not right.
Yes, sothing was definitely wrong.
Could it be because of Ling Xiaolong?
A question suddenly appeared in Emrys’s mind.
In Lu Moyu’s mories, there was a part where Ling Xiaolong was reflected. In that mory, he could feel Lu Moyu’s rage and fear for Ling Xiaolong.
If there was sothing that connects the both of them, then it is definitely Ling Xiaolong.
By now, Emrys was already aware of the red space that existed sowhere inside him. He could not help but guess that the red space was Ling Xiaolong’s creation, and it must be Ling Xiaolong who imprisoned Lu Moyu there.
But... When did Ling Xiaolong do all this?
Why wasn’t he aware of sothing this important?
Most importantly, why did Ling Xiaolong imprison Lu Moyu inside him?
