Emrys killed hundreds of Soul Demons instantly after making his appearance. At the sa ti, he devoured their souls.
These Soul Demons were all at the Ethereal Mist Realm. In fact, Emrys was interested in this battlefield solely because not only tens of thousands of Ethereal Mist Soul Demons were fighting a large-scale war, but there were also ten or so Supre Sovereign Soul Demons.
Supre Sovereign Soul Demons and Supre Sovereign Soul Masters were on standby. None of them had taken action yet. After all, the battle at their level could easily disrupt and even destroy an entire city imdiately. All the Soul Masters and Soul Demons fighting below would be killed in less than a minute if they fought.
However, it doesn’t an they would not fight. They can simply fly high in the sky or enter space to battle.
Currently, they were waiting for the battle below to finish, or at least to reach a point that require their involvent.
Although Soul Demons had succumbed to their demonic nature, it doesn’t an they could not think or plan. It is just that they are violent and demonic most of the ti, wanting only to kill and destroy.
As Emrys imdiately digested all the souls and the mories that ca with them, a rush of experiences, knowledge, and instincts surged through his mind. Scenes of brutality, bloody rituals, cruel battles, and the wicked nature of the Soul Demons flowed like a flood inside his mind.
But...
Emrys’s mind was like a bottomless abyss. He remained calm and unshaken. He absorbed the information rapidly while discarding Soul Arts, Cultivation Techniques, and other skills as if they were dust in the wind.
There is a reason why he did not choose to learn Soul Arts and other such skills. It is because absorbing those arts’ information ans learning what those Soul Demons had comprehended.
He did not want to comprehend sothing others had comprehended. He wanted to comprehend Soul Arts himself, instead of gaining insight from others’ comprehension.
After absorbing all the useful information, he released his Aura of Brilliance without a mont of hesitation.
BOOM!
A golden explosion of light expanded outward like the rising sun tearing through the deepest darkness. The sky above the battlefield lit up in an instant, and everything was bathed in divine brilliance. The ground, the air, and the very soul of the battlefield trembled as a golden domain expanded instantly, covering the entire war zone.
Normally, this golden domain could have easily expanded across thousands of cities. That was how terrifying Emrys’s Aura of Brilliance was. But Emrys had forcefully suppressed it, controlling its range so as not to disturb other cities or people outside the battlefield.
Still, those within the domain felt an imnse pressure descend upon them.
Before anyone could understand what was going on, Emrys acted again.
Light Manipulation!
With a re thought from Emrys, countless golden swords ford in the sky above like stars falling from the heavens. Each sword radiated pure brilliance, and they were sharp enough to cut through space itself.
SWOOSH! SWOOSH! SWOOSH!
The blades rained down like a golden storm...no, they were like divine punishnt. The air scread as the blades tore through it, slashing through thousands of Soul Demons in the blink of an eye.
Each cut from golden blades was precise.
"KRAAAAHHH!!"
All the Soul Demons present on the battlefield howled, roared, and shrieked in fear, pain, and anger, but none were able to escape.
Even those who tried to teleport using so secret thods found their abilities disrupted by Emrys’s domain. They were trapped like insects caught in the net of a divine predator.
Their bodies were cut into pieces by the torrent of golden blades.
As their bodies were torn apart, Emrys activated his ability to plunder souls.
This was the first ti Emrys had released his ability to plunder souls at its fullest.
An invisible vortex silently ford in the sky.
Although this vortex was invisible to ordinary eyes, it was actually very terrifying. Every complete, torn, dying, or fragnted soul was pulled into the vortex, where Emrys devoured them without rcy.
Streams of energy surged into him.
Power.
mories.
Soul Laws.
Everything started fusing with him.
But, without any surprise, his body automatically rejected the Soul Laws and forced them out.
Emrys smiled bitterly for a second before his expression returned to normal.
All the souls he devoured were refined into his own strength in an instant.
His aura grew sharper, deeper, and even more divine.
In less than a minute, his cultivation broke through from Beginner to Interdiate Supre Sovereign Soul Master.
It was also at this mont all the Soul Masters reacted. They were shocked beyond belief and imdiately knelt down in fear.
On the other hand, the Supre Sovereign Soul Masters and Soul Demons watching from afar narrowed their eyes.
They were not prepared for soone of Emrys’s caliber to suddenly appear and take action.
Emrys did everything so fast that they were unable to react. By the ti they could react, the battle was already over.
All the Soul Demons were killed.
Only Soul Masters were left alive.
However, not all Soul Masters were spared. Tens of thousands of Soul Masters lost their lives under Emrys’s ability to manipulate light as well.
Emrys was not a hero or savior who would selflessly save a city or end a war while putting others’ lives before his own needs.
Since he took action, Emrys did not mind killing tens of thousands of Soul Masters as well.
This was a battlefield and since they were here fighting a battle, it ans they were already prepared to die.
Emrys did not feel any reluctance or guilt after killing Soul Masters. Instead, he felt refreshed.
Finally, after taking the lives of hundreds of thousands of Soul Demons and tens of thousands of Soul Masters, his cultivation increased by a small stage.
It was also because everyone killed by him was at least a Beginner Ethereal Mist Soul Master/Demon.
