Emrys stood there in silence while his eyes were fixed on the blue stone block. The old man beside him remained quiet too, as if waiting for sothing. After a short while, the old man turned to him and said in a calm but serious voice, "Young man, you should also kowtow before the founder’s relic as well. It is our tradition. All who enter this temple must do so."
Hearing this, Emrys didn’t respond right away. Instead, he chuckled softly. There was no humor in that chuckle, it was just cold. He turned his gaze toward the old man and stared at him for a few seconds, as if trying to understand if the old man was truly serious. Then, without a word, he shifted his eyes back to the stone block.
No matter how he looked at it, he could tell this stone block was just a coffin. The runes engraved on it were all ant for preservation. Sothing or soone was sealed inside.
But who?
He didn’t know for sure, yet based on everything he had learned, Emrys could guess it wasn’t the founder inside. After all, as per the Primordial Ancestor’s words, the founder of this village was buried sowhere in the desert. Then, this coffin likely belonged to his wife.
That made things even more ridiculous in Emrys’s eyes.

He silently watched the old man who continued to speak: "It is because of these eyes. The founder gave his pair of eyes to my ancestor before his death. And that pair of eyes has been passed down from generation to generation in my family through bloodline. These are the Eyes of Stars. The Eyes of Stars gave the ability to see things others cannot. This includes hidden objects, invisible forces, and even the power to shoot a powerful beam of starlight energy that can burn everything. Even the strongest Soul Masters can’t stand against these eyes. Believe when I say you don’t want to face an attack from my Eyes of Stars."
Emrys suddenly started feeling that things were not normal in this village. In fact, this village itself is not normal.
But, like before, he could not exactly point out what was wrong with this village.
It has to be known that he had seen this entire village through the Perspective of God but didn’t find anything wrong. Now, feeling that sothing was wrong with this village caused him to worry a little bit.
Shaking his head, he focused on the old man’s eyes.
’The Eyes of Stars, huh?’ Emrys thought inwardly.
As for the old man’s threat, he didn’t take it to heart at all.

Emrys frowned.
The old man’s eyes glowed faintly, stars twinkling within them like distant galaxies trapped in darkness. However, it was all nothing more than an illusion.
While Emrys closely observed the old man’s eyes, he found that these eyes didn’t seem to be the old man’s original eyes.
How did he find out?
It is because he closely observed the old man while looking at him from a God’s Perspective.
In such a state, he was able to easily see even the tiniest change and fluctuation that appeared in his eyes. He saw millions of nerve fibers that were not connected to the old man’s occipital lobe. They were kind of dormant.
But the old man clearly told him that every generation obtains the Eyes of Stars through bloodline.

She was this old man’s granddaughter.
’She doesn’t have the Eyes of Stars,’ Emrys frowned. He was becoming more and more sure of his earlier guess. Sothing is definitely not right with this village.
The old man obviously lied when he said these eyes were passed down to his family through bloodline.
