Emrys was surprised that he was no longer injured. He observed his body closely. At first, he did not detect anything wrong, but as he continued, he soon felt changes that his body had undergone.
"Hmm? What is that?"
Frowning, Emrys tried to observe his body internally and soon sensed the existence of the bead. The bead looked ordinary, but the intricate patterns on its surface were far from ordinary. Even Emrys, who could not understand those patterns, felt a godly montum emanating from them.
"What is this bead?"
Emrys tried to touch the bead with his Spiritual Sense, and to his amazent, the instant he touched it, his eyes blurred and he was brought inside a small world. Emrys could already tell that this world existed inside the bead.
The world inside the bead was unlike Infinite Soul Star or other worlds in Emrys’s mind. Raising his head, he could see the sky covered in intricate patterns, similar to those on the surface of the bead. These patterns glowed with a pale crimson light, allowing Emrys to easily see their existence. The light from those intricate patterns also illuminated the world below, making everything appear very clear in front of Emrys’s eyes.
The world below was not land, it was full of dense white fog. Emrys, who was both present here and not at the sa ti, failed to sense his own abnormality and was completely focused on observing the fog. He could feel a kind of power from the fog that gave him the feeling of being able to conquer the world. He had a feeling that as long as he could control the fog, he could obtain another power on top of the Soul Force.
However, the question was, just what is this fog? What is hidden inside the fog?
Clearly, Emrys can not see anything inside the fog. He cannot even tell whether there is land below or not. The fog is so dense that it is blocking his sight completely.
Emrys observed this strange space inside the bead once again. From outside, the bead appeared very small, the size of an Orchids Seed, however, the space inside was so big that Emrys could not see the end of it at all.
However, at the sa ti, he had a feeling that he could reach the end anyti he wanted. All he has to do is wish and he’ll be standing at the end of this space.
For the ti being, there was nothing else in this space worth looking at for long. Emrys shook his head and tried to control the fog. To his surprise, all he has to do is think and he can control the movent of fog easily. He tries to sense the power hidden in the fog and feels that it is even greater than Soul Force in terms of strength.
However, both have their own advantages.
This strange fog could easily strengthen Emrys’s body and give him the power to strike critical attacks with monstrous montum. Emrys felt that using this power to fight an enemy would be much easier than using Soul Force.
However, he still placed greater importance on Soul Force. Soul Force could be used in several ways. First of all, Soul Force was the reason behind the appearance of the Soul River. Just as the bead is a dwelling for the fog, the Soul River is a dwelling for the Soul Force to reside.
Soul Force is directly connected to a person’s soul. The stronger a person’s soul, the stronger their Soul Force will be. Soul Force could be used to attack souls directly, and this is just one of the things it could do.
Soul Force can also be used to attract attributed energy that complents a person’s Soul Mark, and then use the attributed energy to strengthen their body. However, this strengthening is different from that of the fog. A body strengthened by attributed energy attracted by Soul Force has an extrely high probability, more than 99%, of gaining an attribute. This way, the owner of that body can obtain a special physique related to their Soul Mark’s attribute.
Nonetheless, this is not the end.
A Purple Crystal Soul Master can direct their Soul Force to communicate with their Soul Spirit, which is the creature associated with their Soul Mark. It is also rumored that a higher-ranking Soul Master can even summon their Soul Spirit to fight alongside them in battle. Of course, the duration of the summoning depends on their Soul Force.
There might be other uses for Soul Force as well, but Emrys is not aware of them yet. Even so, when it cos to prioritizing, he would always give priority to Soul Force.
Moreover, he currently has no information about the fog. He has no idea what kind of power this fog holds.
But these are not the questions that trouble Emrys at the mont. As ti goes by, he is confident he will obtain answers. What troubles him the most is how the bead appeared inside his body. What exactly is that bead? What are those patterns?
"What the f*ck? Where is my body?"
Emrys suddenly realized that his body was not there even though he was clearly present.
His presence inside this space is completely different from his experience with the Soul River. When he looks at the Soul River, he perceives it with his mind’s eye. He knows that he is not actually present there; he can just see everything.
However, it is different in the case of the bead. He only tried to touch it with his spiritual sense but ended up inside the bead’s space. When he appeared in this space, it did not feel like he was looking at it with his mind’s eye. It felt more like he was physically present here.
Yes, Emrys could clearly sense that he was physically present, though his body was not there in reality.
This bead was becoming more and more weird and mystical in Emrys’s eyes.
Suddenly, Emrys shuddered for so reason. His eyes blurred for a nanosecond. The next instant, he found himself outside.
Emrys raised his brows in vigilance. He hurriedly picked up the blade from the ground and looked in a certain direction cautiously. He imdiately put up the guard that had been down just monts ago.
