Emrys didn’t find the nas Ye Yun and Mu Bailing strange. The Infinite Soul Star was filled with people with all sorts of nas. Not to ntion, before his transmigration, he was an ordinary man in a different world that also had diverse nas and cultures.
"So... Do you know what this Mysterious Sky Fruit is?" Emrys asked, deciding to start with the most imdiate question on his mind. He had many things he wanted to know, but he felt like asking about this fruit first. After all, he could tell that Ye Yun’s group was also after the Mysterious Sky Fruit.
"You don’t know?" Ye Yun, Mu Bailing, and Jing Jun raised their eyebrows in surprise. They didn’t expect soone who could enter the Mysterious Sky Valley to be unaware of the Mysterious Sky Fruit.
"I don’t know," Emrys replied honestly, shaking his head.
Ye Yun and the others were surprised but didn’t mind explaining a few things. Ye Yun began, "Since you entered this spatial zone, you must be here to find a way to walk down the path of Cosmic Cultivation, right?"
Emrys was about to shake his head and explain that he was not, that he had just been thrown here by Elysia Nightshade, but before he could, Ye Yun continued, "Then you must know that there are several ways we could start cultivating the Cosmic Ways in this space. The Mysterious Sky Fruit is one of them."
Emrys was taken aback. Not only was this his first ti learning about the Cosmic Cultivation Path, but he was also surprised to discover that there were several ways to start walking this path inside this space.

Those three words caught Emrys’s attention. Ye Yun’s aning was clear. While there are several ways to start cultivating the Cosmic Ways, this path of cultivation could only be undertaken within this space, not elsewhere.
But why?
Several more questions flashed through Emrys’s mind. He wanted to understand the nature of this space and why Cosmic Cultivation was exclusive to it. Why were there several thods? What made the Mysterious Sky Fruit so significant? Emrys’s curiosity grew, and he knew he needed more answers.
Ye Yun, unaware of Emrys’s thoughts, continued, "As you might already know, this space is a fragnt of an ancient world hovering in Zone Zero of the Absolute Void. It’s a remnant of ancient tis, the only place where Cosmic Cultivation is still possible. It is also the only place where beginning the Cosmic Cultivation is possible. There is no way for anyone to walk the path of Cosmic Cultivation in the outside world. It might be because this shattered world is a fragnt left behind by an era when Cosmic Cultivation was still possible."
"It is said that back then, when the sky of this world shattered, a drop from the essence of the original world’s sky dripped into this valley, which later grew into a tree called the Mysterious Sky Tree. The Mysterious Sky Fruit is said to contain a trace of the essence of the original world when this fragnted world was whole. It can imdiately bring a person to at least the third step of Cosmic Cultivation. As long as we can take all twelve steps, we can truly start cultivating the Cosmic Ways."

Ye Yun gave Emrys too much information this ti. He was stunned. The information about this world fragnt, the Mysterious Sky Tree, and the steps of Cosmic Cultivation was overwhelming.
Moreover, he hadn’t known any of this before, yet he had sohow progressed five steps already. How was this possible? And more importantly, what did these steps entail?
"Five steps?" Emrys finally asked, trying to make sense of it all. "What do you an by that?"
Ye Yun looked at him, puzzled. "You an you don’t know? Why are you joking? You have clearly taken the first five steps. How can you still not know these basic things? These are facts explained by our masters and seniors before entering this space. Have you forgotten already?"
He was surprised at how ignorant Emrys was behaving.
Mu Bailing pulled the corner of his clothes and gestured for him to not speak carelessly. Then she took a step forward and explained, "The twelve steps Ye Yun just talked about are the foundational steps to harness the Cosmic Energy from the void around us. As you know, we cultivators have to first refine our bodies and then build our foundation to finally extract qi from the air and introduce them into our bodies. The body Refinent Stage and Foundation Building Stage are two basic steps we must take before introducing the qi into our body. Only then can we officially start our cultivation."
"Just like that, the first twelve steps are basic foundational steps we must take before introducing Cosmic Energy into our bodies. Otherwise, our body will explode. Each step represents a level of attunent we accumulate over ti. The first five steps are the most difficult and crucial. Since you have already taken the first five steps, it ans you have already attuned yourself to a significant degree."

The more Mu Bailing talked, the more confused Emrys beca. Being confused doesn’t an he was unable to understand a single thing.

Could this have sothing to do with the strange experiences he’d had since arriving here? The mysterious sea, the blood chains, the changes in his soul... Could these have propelled him through the foundational steps of Cosmic Cultivation without him even realizing it?
