"Oh, Fuzi and Hua Zi have gone missing. Lao Yun and Sister Cui are out looking for them."

"It’s not a big deal, is it?"

"No news yet."

Zhou Xuan thought for a mont and decided to summon the Blood Well Society first.

He ascended into the sky during the day and emitted sound waves toward Mingjiang Prefecture.

"President, we’ve already linked our perception to you. What more do you need us for?"

Zhimajiang was the first to inquire.

The other mbers also hurried to ask what needed to be done.

"Change the direction of your perception links to focus on my body. Mingjiang Prefecture has a fool who stole a lot of my money and is trying to run away. I need to catch him." Zhou Xuan lied through his teeth.

"That’s hardly a big deal! I’ll go first."

Zhimajiang was the quickest to alter her perception link’s direction.

The other mbers followed suit, redirecting their perception links.

A powerful surge of perception began to rapidly converge within Zhou Xuan’s body.

His Divine Soul returned to his body, and he manipulated Si Yuer’s perception, placing it atop the amalgamation. Then, in a low voice, he said to Si Yuer, "Catch Peng Hou; it’s up to you now."

As soon as he finished speaking, Zhou Xuan tilted his head and dozed off.

Sleeping soundly had always been Zhou Xuan’s talent. Back when he first encountered the Ghost Baby in Jing Country, it was this ability to sleep that saved him.

Seeing Zhou Xuan asleep, Mo Tingsheng knew he was entering the dream world to chase Peng Hou. Mo Tingsheng struggled to tear himself away from Zhao Wuya’s grip, who had been forcibly scribbling words, to wake Zhou Xuan.

"Running? I’m a Dragon Seeking Heavenly Master of five incenses, and you’re three incenses. Where do you think you’re going?"

Zhao Wuya firmly held Mo Tingsheng down, gripped his brush tightly, and decided to write "idiot" first before anything else, etching it deeply.

The word glowed brilliantly on Mo Tingsheng’s face!

...

The Mingjiang Dream was bizarre and fantastical.

Si Yuer, in this dream, saw a ship sailing over land — a massive steel cruise ship traversing Mingjiang Prefecture’s Governnt Square.

In the skies above Mingjiang Prefecture, multitudes hung upside down, their crimson tongues extending from the air down to the ground like fine pillars.

"This place is so strange, so fun."

Si Yuer, with her naturally carefree personality, didn’t find it frightening or eerie. Instead, she showed considerable interest in Peng Hou’s "Dream World."

Yet, no matter how intriguing the world, she didn’t forget her mission. Using the amalgamated perception, she wove through the Dream World, searching for Peng Hou.

Her perception included the contributions of thirteen Blood Well Society mbers and Zhou Xuan’s Divine Level day-trip perception. Thus, in this Dream World, she moved even faster than Peng Hou.

She feared the murmurs in the Dream far less than Peng Hou.

In no ti, she spotted Peng Hou’s figure by Miyang Wooden Pier.

The Dream World contained everything — real buildings and real people.

To single out one person in the dense crowd, especially soone she’d never seen before, was indeed difficult.

But identifying Peng Hou was simple for Si Yuer because he was enveloped by the shadow of a colossal infant.

This infant, which Si Yuer had seen depicted in the ancient texts of the Divine Stealer Hall, was known as "Earth Child." The Earth Child was linked to the aura of the Dream Realm Heavenly God.

The Dream Laws and the Earth Child were intricately intertwined.

Seeing the Earth Child, Si Yuer instantly recognized that the person enveloped by it must be Peng Hou.

"Miyang Wooden Pier."

Si Yuer carefully noted the surrounding scenery of the pier, recorded it in a secret ssage, and sent it to her mother, Duan Qinglan.

Duan Qinglan shattered the secret ssage, absorbed its contents, and then condensed an identical ssage before passing it on to the Painter.

The Painter received the secret ssage and burst into laughter.

"Lao Le, Peng Hou has hidden inside the Dream and has now reached Miyang Wooden Pier."

"Peng Hou won’t escape today. If he had remained hidden in the Dream without revealing his location, I wouldn’t be able to do anything. But now that he’s exposed, I am his nesis."

The Music Master laughed as he activated the Divine Lantern and headed to Miyang Inn.

The Painter asked Lord Jian, "Peng Hou is about to appear. Would you like to go?"

"Necessary."

Lord Jian said, "Peng Hou’s Divine Status has already been discussed and allocated to Xuan. Since I’m in Mingjiang Prefecture, I want to see it delivered to him."

"Let carry you there."

The Painter carried Lord Jian on his back, tore through space, and headed for Miyang Wooden Pier.

The other You Shen followed suit.

Lord Jiu, however, had arrived in Mingjiang Prefecture via the reflection of the Bright Moon. Without Zhou Xuan to manipulate this reflection, he couldn’t move anywhere else.

"Ah, such a grand event, but I can’t join in."

Lord Jiu retreated within the reflection, returning to Ping Shui Prefecture.

anwhile, the Miyang Wooden Pier remained unaffected by floods. Lady Hong Guan couldn’t utilize the water’s montum for a swift escape and naturally gave up.

"I won’t go either. I’ll direct the Bitter Ghost disciples to save more Mingjiang citizens swept away by the flood."

Other than the two of them, the rest of the You Shen took their Divine Lanterns and went to Miyang Wooden Pier.

A Divine Lantern is bound to the prefecture it originated from, usable only by the You Shen of that prefecture.

...

The Music Master was the first You Shen to arrive at Miyang Wooden Pier.

He was a seven-incense mber of the Bone Elder Association and had mastered a law known as the Law of Music.

After comprehending this law, he beca extraordinarily sensitive to sound and rhythm.

Standing before Miyang Wooden Pier’s entrance, he could hear every snore and mutter — even those originating kiloters away — crystal-clear.
