The young girl smiled sweetly and asked. "Aunt Xue, please don't say that. But why are you shouting at the guards."
"Don't ask! These fools almost hurt Young Master Nie Li." Xue Yin shook her head. "Oh yeah, Miss. Let introduce you to Young Master Nie Li."
Pointing at Jason, Xue Yin continued. "He may be young but he is an Inscription Master. Maybe in a few years, he will be able to beco a Grandmaster."
"Not only that but he is also an Alchemist Grandmaster too."
At this mont, Yang Xin also appeared beside Jason, nodding to the young girl.
The young girl was astonished, her face almost pale in shock. Observing Jason, she could feel he was not much older than her.
Yang Xin and Xue Yin didn't see her expression as they introduced the young woman. "She is the daughter of the City Lord, Lord Ye Zong. You can even say she is a princess of the Glory City, Miss Ye Ziyun. If I'm not wrong, she would be the sa age as you."
"Oh, hello," Jason faked a surprised expression, nodding her head at her in the form of a greeting.
"H-Hello," Ye Ziyun still in shock nodded her head too.
Both of them stared at each other but didn't speak any more words at all.
"Has he not arrived yet?" At this mont, a robust man majestically walked in, his voice sharp. He's wearing a grey robe with his hair tied to the back. His face was solemn. He had a biting cold aura emitting from him, while, at the sa ti, having a feeling of prestige around him.
The man had just arrived and all the guards imdiately bowed greeting him.
"Greetings City Lord!"
Xue Yin and Yang Xin also paid their greetings but they didn't bow to him, their status was quite special so they didn't have to do that.
Ye Zong nodded his head, his eyes turning to Jason. His gaze bored into Jason, trying to see through him as an invisible pressure enveloped Jason.
However, Jason was quite calm about the whole matter. 'You want to try your luck! Hmph! But can you even see through ?'
Ye Zong's eyes narrowed for a mont before everything returned to normal.
"You're the young genius Inscriptionist and Alchemist in the mouth of President Gu Yan and President Xue Yin, Nie Li." Ye Zong spoke in his stern voice.
"And you're City Lord Ye Zong, son of the only Legend rank demon spiritualist Ye Mo. Interesting!" Jason smirked, his response neither humble nor arrogant. "But I can't feel his presence in the Glory City. Is he perhaps not in Glory City at the mont?"
Yang Xin and Xue Yin were a little surprised by Jason's lack of respect whereas Ye Ziyun had a little displeased expression on her face.
Ye Zong stared at him for so ti before a smile appeared on the corner of his face. "Not bad. My father is indeed outside at the mont. Let's continue our chat later."
Jason nodded and then pointed at Ye Ziyun. "Aren't you bringing your daughter too?"
Ye Zong stopped, his eyes flashing with a strange light. Turning to his daughter, he said in his usual cold voice.
"Yan'er, you can co too."
Ye Ziyun was a little surprised but followed nonetheless. Normally, he would have told her to go back and practice...
Ye Zong had prepared quite much looking at the steamy hot dishes placed on the long dining table.
Everyone took a spot one by one with Ye Zong sitting in the master's position, his daughter was just beside her. Aside from the five of them, there were two more people. One was Ye Shuo but the other one was a middle-aged with a refined nature.
Xue Yin sat down beside him and by her behavior, he seed to be her husband.
When everyone was settled, the maids placed a few more necessary things on the table before excusing themselves.
"Now then, there must be sothing City Lord wants to ask , right?" Before anybody could begin, Jason smiled and spoke calmly.
Ye Zong stopped his action and asked, "Why do you think so?"
Jason continued to smile, his eyes sharp, staring at Ye Zong and Ye Shuo. "Hehe... you're taking for a three-year-old kid. With how carefully you're observing my actions, it show you're cautious, maybe even scared. Dozens of black gold experts are hiding outside in ambush, ready to take action at any given mont. The only conclusion is you're very suspicious of , right?"
"Little brother, what are you..." Yang Xin was surprised by his words.
Ye Shuo intervened, his voice apologetic. "Forgive us, Director Yang. But he is too suspicious."
"But..."
"It's alright, Big Sis. He is the City Lord, burdened with the safety of the Glory City." Jason stopped Yang Xin and chuckled. "If I'm not wrong, you guys send us soone to Heavenly Marks family to investigate . The result must have arrived not too long ago or else Principal Ye Kai hadn't offered the position."
"You're very sharp. It's just as you said." Ye Zong's expression hardened, and his aura surged out pressing down on Jason. "Who are you? What do you want in Glory City?"
Jason unfazed by his pressure, still smiling at Ye Zong. "? I'm Nie Li and I've co to Glory City to study at Holy Orchid Institute."
"Stop lying. It's best if you admit your cri and surrender." Ye Zong's eyes flashed with killing intent. "Are you from Dark Guild? What have you done to the real Nie Li?"
Pfft!
Jason couldn't help but laugh at his words. "And can you prove that I'm not the real Nie Li? Since you claim I'm not Nie Li or from a place called Dark Guild. Where is your proof?"
"Proof? Hmph! Once we torture you, the truth will be automatically revealed." Ye Zong snorted and his hand turned into a claw, intended to capture him.
The table was flipped over because of his sudden action, the dishes fell on the ground.
Ye Shuo had shielded Yang Xin and others behind him, his expression grave.
Jason calmly looked at the incoming attack with no intention of dodging it.
Looking at his calm expression, Ye Zong wa surprised. 'Does he want to surrender?'
However, before his hand could touch Jason, a powerful force stopped his claw in its tracks.
Looking over Ye Zong saw Jason grabbing his hand casually with no change in his expression at all.
'How can it be?!'
Such terrifying strength!
Not only him but even others were taken aback by such a scene.
"Hmph! A re Black gold rank dares to show off!"
A voice drifted in Ye Zong's ear, Raising his head, he saw Jason picking him up from the ground with ease and throwing him away.
Boom!
Ye Zong's body flew like a teor and slamd into the wall, destroying it completely.
"City Lord!"
