It was pretty late in the evening with the sun being already set down in the west, and the Moon was clearly visible in the sky.
The streets were filled with a large group of pedestrians walking in the streets. The restaurants and bars were bustling with activities and people having a good ti.
Sowhere inside a huge building, a tall, slim, and young woman sat behind the desk, working on sothing.
After a few minutes, she finally put down the pen in her hands and released a mouthful of air.
''Finally done with this! Soon, the admission will comnce and a new batch of students will fill the academy."
She stretched her body and gazed at the beautiful moon shining in the night sky with a solemn expression.
The woman seed to be in her late twenties and was draped in black robes with lines of gold decorating her robes. Her long hair was a lustrous black, held neatly behind her head with a golden circlet. Her beautiful pale face had a faint smile on it, and there was a symbol of the cross sword icon with a stunningly brilliant red gem at the center, on the upper side of the robes at her chest.
The symbol represented the Fei Li Empire.
She sighed again and turned around to leave the office. Walking into the massive corridor which was empty with no shadows, her eyes were slightly lancholic. Even though she showed a tough exterior and cold personality outside, deep down, she was still a woman who needed soone who would wait for them at ho and cuddle with her.
After leaving the office, she continued to walk into the streets, her emotions were in turmoil for so reason.
*Whistle* *Whistle* *Whistle*
While she was still lost in her thoughts, a heart-piercing and etheral sound fell into her ears, jolting her senses and stirring her emotions even more.
She couldn't help but her feet moved in that direction on their own, following the sound.
After a few seconds, she found herself in front of a small restaurant that was bustling with people. Looking at the group of people, so couples, so families, while so were a group of friends, water ford at the corner of her eyes.
She felt her nose turning sore for so reason, feeling so weight had been put on her heart.
'Maybe, such life... is not ant for at all...'
She sighed and turned around to walk away until a voice called out to her.
"Oh my~... are you feeling lonely in such a big city?"
The voice was filled with a unique charm and attraction which forced the young woman to freeze in her tracks and slowly turn around to face the person.
At the entrance of the restaurant stood a young woman with an angelic face and beauty out of the world. She had long purple hair with lovely lavender eyes. She had a sweet smile on her face with a welcoming aura radiating from her body.
"Are you talking to ?" The young woman pointed at herself and asked.
Ye Ziyun giggled and said. "Is there anyone else aside from you, Miss? Want to co inside and have dinner at our restaurant?"
The young woman opened her mouth to refuse but before she could reply, her stomach growled from hunger. It caused her cheeks to turn red from embarrassnt.
Ye Ziyun giggled and invited her inside. "It seems your body is more honest than you, Miss."
The woman blushed and followed Ziyun inside up to the second floor.
Ye Ziyun led her to an empty table with a view of the street.
After the young woman had taken her seat, Ziyun asked politely. "So, what do you like to bring to you?"
The young woman glanced at the nu and was confused by the weird nas of the dishes.
She turned to Ye Ziyun and asked about it to which the purple-haired beauty patiently explained.
Finally, after ten minutes, the young woman ordered so dishes.
Ye Ziyun noted them down and went down to bring her order.
The young woman glanced at the empty floor and then the contrasting image of the street that was bustling with activity.
She was so lost in her world that she even failed to notice that Ye Ziyun was back with her food.
Ye Ziyun stared at her longing eyes and asked. "Do you wish to go outside and explore this world?"
"Eh?" The young woman's thoughts were interrupted by her and she almost jumped out in shock.
"Pardon, but what did you just say?"
Ye Zitun smiled and put down her food on the table before taking a seat opposite her. She stared into the young woman's eyes and said.
"You know I was just like you once. I longed for love and freedom to be able to go outside my city and explore the outside world. But due to my circumstances and position, I can't do that..."
The young woman could feel Ye Ziyun's emotions through her eyes and asked.
"Then... what happened?... How do you..."
"How do I co to this city and like that, right?" Ye Ziyun smiled and stared at the moon, blushing lightly like a girl drank in love.
"Just when I thought I was going to suffer like that, 'He' appeared in my life. My husband is like a ray of sunshine that penetrates the darkness in my heart and gives hope. He makes all of my dreams co true. Even though he is a little mischievous, but he is the most reliable person I know."
"And that's why..." Ye Ziyun stared at the young woman and said with a serious expression.
"You shouldn't waste your youth like this. Go and live your life. Find your love and who knows he might support your dreams and beco a pillar in your life just like my husband is for ..."
The young woman was startled and felt a bolt of lightning striking her, shaking her to her core. She suddenly realized that the words of the young woman sitting in front of her held truth to them.
Ye Ziyun saw that she had achieved her goal and patted her shoulder.
"Please enjoy your al and this song, Miss Cai Cai."
Ye Ziyun snapped her fingers and a lodious soul-soothing tune of a flute began to flow into the restaurant, bringing peace and joy to all the custors dining in the restaurant.
Cai Cai turned her attention to the dishes in front which looked very appealing and tantalizing.
The sweet and heavenly aroma assaulted her nose, causing her to drool.
Cai Cai picked up the chopsticks and poked the dishes a little before taking one bite into her mouth.
"Ah~... So delicious!~"
The flavor exploded on her tongue, sending her consciousness straight through the clouds as she released a sweet moan.
