Wandering in Omniverse Chapter 262: Ch 51 - Seniors

"An upper Shi Level Heavenly Jewel Master with the Coordination Physical Jewel. Not bad. But you should better use your Elental Jewels as well, or else you will not have a chance." Zhou Weiqing comnted, still standing in his place with hands in his pockets.

Just as Zhou Weiqing finished speaking, Zang Lang took a deep breath and lifted his left hand, and a brilliant red light flashed out followed by a burst of hot air, and as he pointed toward Zhou Weiqing, five giant fireballs flew towards him.

Zhou Weiqing was familiar with this skill. It was one of the common skills for fire elent jewel masters.

At the sa ti, Zang Lang launched himself toward Zhou Weiqing, one of his Physical Jewels morphing into a long dagger in his right hand, as his figure seed to flicker and fade in the onlookers' vision as he flew forward right behind the fireballs.

In a fight between Jewel Masters, strength was not the only deciding factor. Having felt Zhou Weiqing's strength be way above his, Zang Lang finally burst forth with his full power.

"Not bad," Zhou Weiqing comnted with a smile and continued to stand in his spot without having any intention to dodge the incoming attack.

He could take it on pretty easily but he decided to counter it. He smiled and under the dumbfounded gazes of everyone, a two-ter in diater big hole appeared in front of Zhou Weiqing.

It was as if in that very instance, the air had been torn apart, warping the atmosphere around the area in a several-yard radius.

A strong suction force seed to be suddenly released by the strange black hole in the air, and the five fireballs that had been rushing toward Zhou Weiqing suddenly turned around, vanishing deep into it.

'That… what was that skill?!'

To the commoner students all around, none of them had even heard of such a skill, let alone seen it before. Everyone stared at it in shock, their jaws dropping to the ground.

The one with the strongest feeling was Zang Lang himself; at that mont, he had been charging forward and was right behind the five fireballs. However, when the air had twisted, the black hole that had ford and the sudden suction force had caused him to stop, having to circulate all his Heavenly Energy just to prevent himself from being sucked into it.

But Zhou Weiqing didn't give him a chance as he charged at him, leaving behind an afterimage. And in a blink of an eye, a powerful force slamd into Baldy Zang's stomach, sending him flying for a few ters.

"Easy-peasy," Zhou Weiqing smiled lightly, looking at Zang Lang who was having trouble trying to stand up straight. "You've already lost!"

At this point, all the onlookers stared at him, the silence deafening, staring at Weiqing as if he were a monster.

Right at that mont, the five bald seniors from before rushed up quickly, standing in a row between Zhou Weiqing and Zang Lang, glaring at the forr.

"What?"

The three-jeweled senior said indignantly. "Even if we have to die, we will not let you hurt Brother Lang."

As he said that, he turned towards the seniors surrounding them, shouting out.

"Brothers, all these years, although we have collected protection fees from all of you, we have also indeed done as promised and protected all of you. At least, we have managed to keep the nobles from bullying and injuring all of us. If not for Brother Lang, how many of us would have been bullied and even enslaved by those damn nobles! All the protection money goes to Brother Lang's Skill Storing and Consolidated Equipnt, enabling him to grow stronger and keep protecting us. Now that he is in trouble, are you all just going to stand there and stare? If not for him, us commoner students would have been bullied to death by the noble students."

Zhou Weiqing saw a few of the senior students walking from the crowd slowly, heading to stand together with the five bald seniors, blocking him from the unconscious Zang Lang.

The other freshn did not move at all; there were barely seven or eight of them who had co to watch, and most of them did not know what was going on at all.

"Hahaha... Interesting! At least few have a backbone." Zhou Weiqing laughed heartily and said to Zang Lang. "You've loyal friends. That's a very good thing."

Hearing him laughing like that completely took the seniors off guard.

"What? Puzzled?" Zhou Weiqing tilted his head and laughed.

Seeing their confused expressions, he chuckled. "I never really cared about you guys collecting protection money or anything from others. Every man makes his own choice in life. But you guys shouldn't harass your fellow juniors, especially freshn. They are weak and inexperienced with the way of the world."

"That's why we wanted to teach them a lesson, to show them what it is like where the strong rule over the weak. After the opening ceremony, we would naturally tell you all about the situation in our commoner dormitory, letting you decide on your own which path you choose – freedom and dignity or the quick route to power." The reply ca from Zang Lang who was still standing with his subordinate's support.

Zhou Weiqing shook his head, "As a commoner, you should know better than others that there are even so fellows who can barely afford the academy's fees and yet you ask them so much. Isn't it the sa as forcing them to choose to submit, rather than opposing?"

"But that's..."

"I know your intentions are good but you're not considering their point of view. Tell what, will you choose to pay 100 gold coins per month to others or receive money in exchange for your freedom?... Not everyone is like you guys and ."

"Your thod is wrong and that's why I beat you up in the first place. If you really thinking of their well-being then teach them about the real world in a moderate way. And even after that if they chose to submit then they are not worthy enough of your efforts."

Zang Lang contemplated his words and opened his mouth after so thoughts. "You're right. But this is the only thod we have..."

"et at the opening ceremony, there is sothing I want to say to all the commoners."

After he said that, Zhou Weiqing turned back and walked away, leaving them dumbfounded.
