Weiqing's playful deanor faded slightly, and his eyes glead with sharp cunning. "Maybe they weren't there by choice. Maybe they were running from sothing—or soone."
"Running?" Shangguan Tianyue echoed, his frown deepening.
"Or," Zhou Weiqing continued, ignoring the interruption, "maybe they were setting up sothing shady. Heavenly Bow is my holand, after all, my master will never miss a thing."
Shangguan Tianyang leaned back thoughtfully. "So, you're suggesting that Blood Red Hell's elders were captured because they were plotting sothing, and now they're scrambling to cover their tracks?"
Zhou Weiqing nodded, his grin returning. "Exactly. And they think they can drag the Heavenly Expanse Palace into their ss. They're hoping you'll take the bait and ally with them against the Heaven and Earth Sect. But let's be real: even if you agreed, they'd only use you as a shield."
Shangguan Tianyue's tone turned icy. "You're suggesting we turn a blind eye to the Heaven and Earth Sect's growing power?"
Zhou Weiqing chuckled. "Oh, Uncle Tianyue, you're missing the point. My master isn't interested in conquest. If he wanted to rule the Boundless Mainland, he'd have done it by now. The only reason he's involved at all is because Blood Red Hell keeps poking the bear."

The streets of Fei Li City roared with excitent, the citizens lining up along the main roads to catch a glimpse of the returning champions. Flags adorned every corner, and a marching band played celebratory tunes, their rhythm echoing the pride of an empire.
The Fei Li Battle Team, seated atop a grand procession of carriages, waved humbly at the crowd. The sight of their nation's heroes inspired awe and admiration in all.
Zhou Weiqing leaned out of the carriage, his signature playful grin drawing even louder cheers. Beside him, Ye Paopao smiled modestly, his usual stoic deanor giving way to infectious jubilation.
"I didn't know we were this popular!" Zhou Weiqing quipped, nudging Ye Paopao.
"You're the only one who didn't know," Ye Paopao replied, adjusting his glasses. "The entire city has been talking about the Heavenly Jewel Tournant since the day we left."
At the gates of the prestigious Heavenly Jewel Master Academy, Principal Huo Feng stood flanked by senior instructors, their faces alight with pride.
As Lin TianAo, Crow, Little Four, Ah Bao, and Xiao Yan stepped out of their carriage, the crowd of students erupted into cheers.
"Welco ho, heroes!" Principal Huo Feng's deep voice carried across the courtyard.
Lin TianAo stepped forward, his broad shoulders carrying the weight of leadership as always. "Principal Huo, we've returned victorious."
Huo Feng's eyes glead with approval. "Your achievents have brought honor to our academy and the Fei Li Empire. You've exceeded all expectations."
Crow laughed loudly. "We're just getting started! Wait until you hear how Little Four nearly wet himself during the finals."
"Hey!" Little Four protested, his face turning bright red. "That's a lie, and you know it!"
The students erupted in laughter, the camaraderie of the team evident in their banter.
Principal Huo stepped forward with a chest of rewards. "These gifts are a token of gratitude from the Emperor himself. Wear them with pride."
Each mber received a dal engraved with the Empire's insignia, along with precious cultivation resources.
Huo Feng casted a glance at Zhou Weiqing and received a silent nod, his smile got more profound as he waved his hand...
Zhou Weiqing and Ye Paopao were greeted with equal enthusiasm at the Fei Li Military Academy. The entire student body had gathered in the central courtyard, clapping and cheering as the duo approached.
Princess Cai Cai, the Principal of the academy, descended the marble steps to greet them personally. Her regal presence commanded respect, but her smile was warm.
"Zhou Weiqing, Ye Paopao, welco ho. Your performance has done the academy and the Empire proud," Cai Cai said, her voice carrying the authority of royalty.
Zhou Weiqing bowed with exaggerated formality. "Principal Cai Cai, I just did what I promised to you… and to bask in the applause."
The students burst into laughter, and even Cai Cai couldn't suppress a smile.
"Ever the joker, Weiqing. Co, we've prepared a banquet in your honor."
As the festivities continued, Cai Cai motioned for Zhou Weiqing to follow her into her office. Once inside, she turned to him with a serious expression.
"Weiqing, there's sothing I've been aning to ask. Shangguan Bing'er—why didn't she return with you?"
Zhou Weiqing's smile softened. "Bing'er chose to stay back at ho. There's sothing you should know about her, Princess."
Cai Cai frowned slightly, sensing the gravity of his tone.
"She's not just my fiancée. Bing'er is the Third Princess of the Heavenly Expanse Palace," Zhou Weiqing revealed.
Cai Cai's eyes widened in shock. "The Heavenly Expanse Palace? The Shangguan family… So, her lineage is…"
Zhou Weiqing nodded. "She chose to remain with her family for now. It's where she belongs, at least for the ti being."
Cai Cai processed the revelation in silence before finally speaking. "This… complicates things. But I trust you know what you're doing, Weiqing."
Zhou Weiqing excused himself from Cai Cai's office and returned to the main hall, where his classmates and teachers awaited.
"Ming Hua!" He called out, spotting his forr teacher and friend.
Ming Hua turned, her lips curving into a teasing smile. "Weiqing, still as shaless as ever, I see."
"Shaless? ?" Zhou Weiqing placed a hand on his chest, feigning indignation. "I'm practically a saint."
The students laughed, and Ming Hua shook her head, clearly amused. "Co on, Saint Zhou. Let's see if you can still beat in a spar after all this ti."
"I've missed you too, Ming Hua," Zhou Weiqing said with a grin.
The evening was filled with laughter, shared stories, and a sense of camaraderie that only deepened the bond between Zhou Weiqing and his companions.
