A slender and tall figure was sealed inside so thick ice. The man was so handso, he didn't appear to be an ordinary person. The mont so laid their eyes on him, they would get a suffocation feeling and their hearts would stop.

He sensed sothing and suddenly opened his eyes.

"I never imagined that soone would help that wretch, Yu Yan. Those two morons didn't even manage to look after her properly. And they were even killed so easily. Useless!" His voice sounded as though it was from ice that ca from hell.

His hands swiftly ford a mysterious seal as he opened his eyes. Two brilliant rays of light suddenly shot forth from his pupils.

"Hmm, you're still staying inside the Black Spring. What are you doing there? Do you think you'll be able to escape my clutches?" Peculiar pinpricks of light gathered within the demon beast's eyes. They're the revolving manifestations of his power of law.

Initially, his power of law started off as streaks of light, then slowly blood into mysterious flowers that ford at his side. The first flower, then the second, third…until the sixth one. Now, only one bud remained. It was swelling as though it would burst into bloom at any mont.

"For many millennia I have concealed myself here, awaiting the mont of the seventh lotus's birth. Yu Yan, unless you present your Divine Spark to , you will die!" The corner of his mouth twitched into a dark smile.

Back in the Cave

Jason was subrged in that mysterious state for over a week and was able to help Yu Yan construct her body properly. When Jason opened his eyes, he was startled to see that the small fra of her divine body had actually grown to a size, comparable to a young woman.

While Jason was in that state, he was also able to see Yu Yan's incomplete mories, making him very curious about her origin.

Upon the Black Spring, Yu Yan suddenly opened her eyes and had disbelief on her face as she muttered, "I never thought that he was actually able to do it!"

Reconstructing the divine body was the kind of thing that even the strongest few Spiritual Gods in the past couldn't achieve, and yet, Jason actually accomplished it.

Yu Yan was simply speechless, unable to know how to describe her thoughts.

In the Black Spring, her divine body slowly floated up. At this mont, her divine body looked as clear as ice and was as clean as jade. Wherever it passed, everything would light up.

Yu Yan's body floated all the way up, till it was above the Black Spring and rged together with her soul form and finally opened her eyes.

Jason erged from the water and jumped up.

"Nie Li, thank you for helping restore my divine body. I... I don't know if I'll be able to repay you for that." Yu Yan said, looking at Jason. Her voice was soft and gentle.

"You're welco." Jason smiled and dried his clothes before wearing them again.

"So, what are you going to do next?" Yu Yan asked. She had beco very curious about the young man and decided to follow him back as she didn't have any idea about the changes that occurred in the outside world after she was sealed over the past thousands of years.

Jason looked at her and said. "Well, I'm in search of a treasure, wandering around the world. If you don't have anything to do, want to go with ?"

Yu Yan looked at the cave, her eyes filled with emotions. "I... Let's go. I also want to see just how the world has changed since the war."

And so Jason got a companion for his directionless long journey...

Sowhere in a dungeon, a woman was tied to the wall with chains binding her limbs, looking tired and exhausted. Her body was covered in bruises, she seed to be physically abused very recently.

Her eyes were dull and empty, completely hopeless rendering to her fate. She was constantly gazing at the ground when she heard so footsteps echoing in the empty dungeon.

Raising her head, she saw a pink-haired girl appearing from the doorway.

"Well, well, well, how are you doing bitch!" Huyan Lanruo sneered and asked.

Shen Xiu stared at her but didn't reply, gritting her teeth.

"Oh, it seems you still have so fight left in you." Huyan Lanruo smirked and took out a whip.

"Hmph! You're so arrogant when your Sacred family is alive, making fun of everyone. Where is your arrogance now?"

Pak! Pak!

"You're still trying to act tough, huh? Hmph! If not Nie Li keeping you, I'll have sliced your neck already." Huyan Lanruo said angrily and lashed her whip on her body.

"T-Then... kill ... Why don't you just kill ?!" Shen Xiu barked, her eyes flashing with hatred.

"Hehehe..."

Huyan Lanruo laughed and said. "Hmph! Want to escape with death? No way! Nie Li had given full power to punish you and mold you into submission... You'll be his... no our slave for your all life."

"So, it's best if you accept this truth already." Huyan Lanruo smiled and tied a leash to Shen Xiu's neck like chaining a pet beast.

Placing the food on the floor, she forced the arrogant miss of the Sacred family onto the ground. "Now, be a good dog and eat your food quickly."

Shen Xiu glared at her but received another beating before she obediently consud the food provided to her.

"What a stubborn bitch! Let's see for how long you can keep this up..." Huyan Lanruo grumbled annoyingly before leaving the dungeon, leaving Shen Xiu chained and crying alone in the dungeon.

Huyan Lanruo erged and saw Ye Ziyun and Xiao Ning'er sparing in the backyard of Jason's mansion.

Ye Ziyun and Xiao Ning'er had broken through the Black Gold ranks half a month ago and since then they had intensified their training. After Jason had left, they had shifted all of their attention to cultivation and improving themselves.

"Hehe... both Little Sister Ziyun and Little Sister Ning'er are so hard-working putting many peers to sha." Huyan Lanruo comnted with a smile, walking over to them. Even though she hadn't improved that much compared to both of them, she was still able to reach a 3-star Black Gold rank recently.
