Now reading: Chapter 84: I won’t tell you who he is from Warhammer 40k : Terrabyte, a Action novel by AinzOoalG0wn.

With a single successful sword strike, Garry could no longer hold on, his hands weakly releasing the grip on his power sword.

He collapsed heavily to the ground as if all his bones had been removed.

Even with the potent stimulation of combat drugs, his fractured, broken, and bloody hands were now completely useless, unable to move even a single finger.

The opportunity was fleeting.

AlphaBravo did not waste this precious chance.

While Gerard was still torn by the cursed fury and the exhaustion brought on by massive blood loss, he lunged forward, his humming power sword accurately and viciously stabbing into his right shoulder blade, pinning him firmly in place!

"Impossible!" Gerard uttered another classic death flag, gritting his teeth, his eyes filled with disbelief, "How could you..."

"How could I know you overdosed on drugs, leaving an incurable old injury on your right shoulder?" AlphaBravo coldly interrupted him, "Such obvious energy stagnation were clear to the mont I first saw you."

At this point, AlphaBravo paused, a hint of pitying mockery in his tone: "By the way, your true appearance under the psychic illusion... is indeed very ugly.

Garry calling you an ugly monster is not unfair at all."

"Damn AlphaBravo..."

As if to confirm AlphaBravo's words, the layer of flawless psychic illusion shattered abruptly due to Gerard's uncontrolled ntal state.

His true appearance was revealed—an extrely hideous face, with dense dark red compound eyes replacing normal eyes, and a circular mouth without lips, exposing sharp fangs within.

"Hehehe..." Garry, slumped on the ground, let out three lewd laughs, weakly saying, "I won't say who looks more like AlphaBravo."

"The three of us are ntally sound and have no desire to tornt anyone."

AlphaBravo slowly moved the sword's edge upwards, aiming it at Gerard's head, "Let's just send you off cleanly and quickly."

However, just as AlphaBravo's sword was about to strike—

"Clang—!

An exquisitely clear sword hum sounded without warning in everyone's ears, and an uncatchably fast white light flashed and disappeared.

By the ti the three players present regained their senses, their limbs were already severed, and they lay together in a pool of blood.

"Gerard," a figure slowly appeared before everyone.

He was clad in equally magnificent purple power armor and slowly walked to Gerard's side, "I know you're a rookie with less than a century of service... but to be pushed to this point by three mortals, isn't that a bit too green?"

The newcor was also a space marine, and as handso as Gerard before his true form was revealed, only his handsoness did not require psychic self-deception.

"Lord Yarvis, I just..." Gerard opened his mouth, but ultimately forced himself to swallow his words of defense, lowering his head in sha, "...I apologize, I was too complacent."

"Hmm." The space marine called Yarvis nodded in satisfaction, "It's alright, as long as you're still alive.

After all, guys in the warband, one less ans one less."

It was just unknown what he would do if Gerard had actually made an excuse for himself.

Yarvis turned his head, looking with interest at the three players who had completely lost their ability to resist: "Five minutes ago, while tuning my instrunt, I suddenly felt soone peeking at .

At first, I thought it was an illusion, but the feeling lingered, and I quickly realized... little mice had snuck in."

"So I followed my intuition and quickly found you, intending to see what you three little mice wanted to do."

Yarvis shrugged elegantly, "And then I saw Gerard defeated by you... Haha, three mortals working together to kill a space marine, truly, the longer one lives, the more one sees."

"Hearing you say that..." AlphaBravo, lying on the ground, tried to exert force but found that the opponent's attack was extrely precise, severing all critical tendons and nerves, ensuring they wouldn't die but also losing all mobility, "Are you an old veteran?

Why betray humanity?"

"Still trying to probe at this point? Truly interesting mortals."

Yarvis chuckled, "No harm in telling you..."

He straightened his body, an arrogance stemming from the depths of his soul, spanning ten millennia, naturally arising: "I was elevated to astartes during the Legion era and have survived to this day."

"Holy crap, a ten-thousand-year veteran!" The three players simultaneously cursed the entire family of that terrible Governor's Mansion in their hearts ten thousand tis.

"I've answered your question, so now you should answer mine."

Yarvis' gaze fell on AlphaBravo's face, a probing light flickering in his perfect eyes, "Your eyes... seem very special, don't they?"

Hearing this, the alarm bells rang in the hearts of the three players.

They no longer hesitated for a mont, simultaneously detonating the bombs within their bodies.

Boom—!!!

The violent explosion instantly engulfed their location.

By the ti the smoke and flas dissipated, only a charred crater remained, the three having long since vanished without a trace.

And in the mont before the explosion, the two Fallen space marines had already dodged aside, completely unhard.

Yarvis took his hand off Gerard's shoulder and said faintly: "How decisive."

He shook his head, seemingly a little regretful: "I was also negligent, I didn't even realize they had undergone chanical modifications."

He no longer paid attention to the charred pit on the ground but turned and slowly took out his "instrunt" from behind his back.

It was a magnificently ornate and ferocious War-howl Guitar.

The body was crafted from the pale bones of an unknown beast and polished purple-gold tal, carved with countless faces intertwined with ecstasy and extre pain, and six strings shimred with an ominous psychic glow in the dim light.

His slender fingers gently rested on the strings and plucked them casually.

There was no deafening noise, but a strange, distorted yet fatally seductive and demonic lody.

The first note, like a pebble dropped into a silent lake, sent out layers of invisible ripples.

The music seed to have a life of its own; it was pervasive like rcury, penetrating thick walls, flowing through luxurious halls, winding into deep, winding corridors, and sneaking into every blood-stained secret room.

Soon, this eerie movent echoed in every corner of the Governor's Mansion.

Scattered throughout the Governor's Mansion, the Slaanesh space marines, who were engaged in their respective revelries and rituals of slaughter, all stopped what they were doing the mont they heard this sound.

"Lord Yarvis is summoning us..."

"Hehehe, it seems new toys have been delivered to our doorstep again."
