The elected ruler, the repeller of darkness, the guardian of the Human Empire, the first citizen, the bearer of the Warhamr "Gail-Malaz", the Grand Prince of Rick Territory, the Prince-Elector of Rick Territory, the Duke of Brunswick, the bearer of the Silver Seal and the possessor of the Holy Sword Rune Fang, Charlemagne, Emperor over all the sacred heritage from the Great Sea to the Boundary Mountain Range, including but not limited to the above twenty-three titles, the Emperor Karl Franz Friedrich is currently sitting in the middle of his study, reviewing various decrees.

A large force of Beastman Warbands launched a fierce assault on the Imperial Array from the front, while the Goblin Arachnari Giant Spider and hordes of Goblin Wolf Riders launched surprise rear attacks. The Emperor’s army was montarily thrown into chaos, and even the Emperor had to personally join the battle.
What ultimately turned the tide was the great alchemist Biersaze Gaert from the Alchemy School of the Imperial Royal Wizard Academy, who accompanied the army. Just as morale was wavering, Gaert rode his pegasus "Swift Silver", ablaze with golden flas, diving down from the sky. The golden staff waved, the Wind of Piety opened wide, and an entire Beastman Warband of hundreds of Beastn was turned into a group of gilded statues, which were then crushed to debris by the tal torrent Gaert summoned. Thus relieved of pressure, the Imperial Army pressed forward and repelled the ambushing Goblin Tribe, attacking from both sides to defeat the Beastman Army, returning with a decisive victory.
This increased the Emperor’s trust in Gaert. The current Imperial Royal Chief Grand Wizard, the dean of the Fla School, Sernus German, was a treasure left to him by his late father Luitpold, yet Carl Franz always respected rather than relied on this Royal Chief Grand Wizard.
The current Royal Chief Grand Wizard, specialized in the Fire Elent, was simply too volatile; during his cultivation, his hair would look like flickering flas. Other distinguishing marks included glowing eyes, hot skin, extre discomfort in rainy weather, and a faint sll of sulfur. His temper was like a bomb, one mont laughing and chatting, the next erupting in flas. Such traits of the Fire Mages were displeasing to the Emperor. Compared to them, Gaert’s calm and ticulous mind, and his various spells that were less likely to harm allied troops, were much more favored by the Emperor.
All thanks to the great mage Tygris of the High Elf White Tower. In tis of peril for the Empire, the High Elves brought magic, helping to establish the Imperial Royal Wizard Academy. However, the technique of studying magic left by the High Elves was not the ideal thod. After Gaert’s in-depth explanation, Carl Franz now understood the pros and cons.
The magic training thod left by the High Elves is the High Elves’ own learning thod. Humans are not a race suited for using magic, thus Tygris slightly altered the High Elves’ original thod. Each wizard apprentice specializes in a single Wind of Magic and binds to it for life, allowing ordinary wizard apprentices to progress rapidly in their studies, quickly becoming competent mages who can independently secure an area.
However, the downside of this is also very obvious. Imperial mages can only master one magic for their entire lives, and once bound for life, their bodies and minds are influenced by the Wind of Magic. For example, Fire Mages are irritable, Death Mages (not to be confused with Undead Mages) are pale and gaunt, Light Mages have all-white skin and hair, and Amber (Beast) Mages have overgrown body hair and love wearing animal skins, etc.

Only Gaert is an exception.
