Even after the dwarfs finished their volley, the crossbown still had their ti to shine. Having spent months or even longer learning to aim, shoot, and reload quickly, they raised their crossbows, aiming at the barbarian cavalry and pulling the triggers.
The dwarf crossbows were of excellent quality, and the short crossbow arrows they fired were filled with penetrating power, dealing heavy blows to the barbarian cavalry once again. When over five hundred Norsca Champion Hunters retreated in embarrassnt, they were reduced to fewer than three hundred.

Simultaneously, hidden crossbown behind gave the charging barbarian warriors quite a welco, with dense crossbow arrows causing the front row of barbarian and Chaos Warriors to topple in masses. More importantly, a hidden deadly weapon behind the formation finally fulfilled its purpose.
That was the Organ Cannon.
All four barrels of the cannon were loaded with lead pellets blessed by the Lake God Prophet or even the Lake Fairy!
