In the dark basent, there was only the faintest candlelight. Beneath the dry, deep Holy Relic Hall, waiting for Laine and Tygris were only nurous bones and a stalactite column dripping water.
The sturdy stone slabs and walls cast with molten iron were filled with golden runes, as well as nurous scriptures and holy seals reinforcing the space.
Other than these, there was nothing — no imagined magnificence nor divineness. If Laine hadn't seen it with his own eyes, this was just an ordinary basent and not the legendary treasure vault of the Justice Church Cathedral, said to have amassed countless riches.

"Here's the recent story where Emperor Carl Franz led the imperial army to ambush and defeat a southward Barbarian army on the Nord Kingdom's coastline." Laine didn't look at each mural thoroughly, for there were too many. He and Tygris were not there to sightsee.

"Are elves the sa?" Laine quickly followed in Tygris's footsteps, drawing out Mjolnir, whose hamr shaft sparked persistently with pale blue electricity.
