RUMBLE—

Suddenly, the Blackstone Gate trembled violently, shaking the entire chanical platform.

What the hell?

Eden's heart skipped a beat.

Right now, his psychic power and a portion of his consciousness were directly linked to the Blackstone Throne and the Blackstone Gate.

If sothing went wrong—

He might really end up stuck here forever.

Quickly, Eden turned his gaze toward the chanical screen, trying to see what was happening outside.

Onscreen, the rotating portal at the center of the Blackstone Gate was shaking violently—

As if sothing inside was slamming against the barrier, trying to force its way out.

His chest tightened.

He imdiately attempted to scan the gate and portal with his psychic senses, searching for any signs of attack or breach.

Nothing.

There were no signs of an external assault.

Better ask a professional.

He imdiately activated the communications system.

"Kaul, what the hell is happening outside?!"

No response.

Eden's stomach dropped.

Great. Just great.

Was he supposed to cut the psychic feed and shut everything down?

Just as he was about to sever the connection, a response finally ca through.

Kaul's voice was calm, without a trace of panic:

"Savior, there's no need to worry! I just conducted an ergency inspection—

The Blackstone Gate is fine.

This is just a technical adjustnt!"

He then explained that the cause of the anomaly was simply a loose energy conduit in the power distribution system.

A minor disruption in the flow of energy had caused the temporary instability.

No one had been injured, though a few engineering ships had been damaged.

And, of course—

Kaul had already identified the 'culprit' responsible for the accident.

With absolute certainty, he declared:

"I have already severely reprimanded the lazy, incompetent Jokaero technician responsible for this.

And fired them on the spot!

That useless creature belongs in the sewers!"

Eden felt a bit dizzy.

Wait. Fired? A Jokaero?

That was nonsense.

Everyone in the galaxy knew that Jokaero were the ultimate model workers.

🔹 Hardworking.

🔹 Fearless of sacrifice.

🔹 Extrely loyal.

Even warform Jokaero were the sa.

Eden had a strong suspicion that this was just Kaul shifting the bla to cover a design flaw.

Still, if Kaul said the Blackstone Gate was fine, then it was probably fine.

Kaul might be insane, but he had never failed him when it ca to critical matters.

Of course, this incident couldn't just be ignored.

Now that his domain was running smoothly, the various governnt institutions had proper oversight and checks in place.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs had even issued construction safety regulations.

As the lead engineer of the Blackstone Gate project, Kaul had personally signed the safety agreent.

And this wasn't a minor accident.

Eden would summon a safety conference to review the incident, ensure a thorough report, and implent asures to prevent similar accidents.

For now, though, he moved on.

Eden logged into the "Loyalist Academy Cloud Classroom", opening a course on the Webway and the Warp.

The material had been compiled by Xiaoling from the Emperor's data.

The Academy's education committee had structured it into a public course, making it available to all students.

A 15-second promotional video played first.

It was a glorification of the Savior and the utopia he had created.

Eden knew that there were thousands of variations of these propaganda videos—

So emotional, so passionate, so educational.

Never repetitive.

Never boring.

Every single online and offline broadcast within his domain was required to play these videos periodically.

They served to reinforce the people's admiration and loyalty toward him.

Eden sighed as he watched.

"The propaganda departnt is really sothing else…

They've found thousands of ways to praise ."

Of course, this was part of loyalty education—a strictly enforced policy.

Besides, he prided himself on sticking to the facts.

The events depicted were real.

Just slightly beautified.

As the video ended, the actual lesson began.

"Children, welco to Little Sun's Classroom…"

A cartoon avatar of the Little Sun appeared, taking on the role of the instructor.

Yes. It was actually the Little Sun.

Eden had personally approved the virtual teacher designs for the Loyalist Academy.

Since he was too lazy to pick another the, he had simply told them to use the Little Sun for everything.

The animated Little Sun gave a brief introduction, then began teaching—

Accompanied by engaging animations and interactive graphics.

Eden watched intently, completely absorbed.

Honestly?

The lesson was actually pretty good.

Clear, concise, engaging.

He was learning a lot.

What he didn't notice—

Was the tiny label at the bottom-left corner of the screen.

It marked this course as an elentary-level class.

In other words—

It was designed for children under ten years old.

For the great Savior, elentary courses were just right.

Anything more advanced was too ntally exhausting.

After all, the students at the Academy were chosen from billions of people across multiple planets.

Most were child prodigies, possessing exceptional intelligence.

Even children of nobles, officials, and heroes had to et minimum academic standards, which were already far beyond ordinary humans.

And once admitted, even privileged students had to work twice as hard to graduate.

Eden, anwhile, was actively limiting his intelligence.

Despite multiple enhancents, his overall cognition remained at a human level.

This was intentional—he didn't want to end up like a Primarch or a Daemon Prince.

Honestly?

So of those so-called super-intelligent beings weren't even smarter than regular people.

Avoiding Chaos influence and maintaining above-average intelligence was already a huge advantage.

Besides, he believed in delegation—

Professional matters should be handled by professionals.

The blessed geniuses of his domain would handle everything for him.

Kaul Faces the Safety Committee

While the Savior diligently studied, those outside the throne room were handling the aftermath of the accident.

"Damn Inquisition… such a pain in the ass!"

Kaul dragged himself into the eting room, preparing to face questioning from the Blackstone Gate Safety Committee.

He had failed to shift the bla—

The Inquisition had already determined the true cause of the incident.

A design flaw in the energy conduit system had gone undetected, resulting in an overload.

For Kaul, his philosophy had always been simple—

🔹 Full steam ahead.

🔹 If you get inspiration, just keep building.

🔹 If sothing blows up, fix it and keep going.

But when it ca to major projects, stability was key.

Fortunately, Eden's governnt structure had safeguards in place to correct Kaul's more reckless tendencies.

Kaul put on his best 'remorseful' expression, humbly acknowledging his mistake before Deville, Moss, and the rest of the Safety Committee.

He submitted a report, took full responsibility, and promised to make corrections.

As he left the eting room, he muttered under his breath—

"Damn Inquisition. Can't even let a genius work in peace."

BOOM—

The Blackstone Gate trembled, shaking the entire chanical platform.

Eden could feel a surge of increased psychic drain, his body tensing as the pain intensified.

"Tsk… I can handle this!"

Gritting his teeth, he endured the intensified pull on his psychic energy.

On the chanical screen, he watched as the expedition ship entered the portal at the center of the Blackstone Gate.

The mont it touched the portal, the space around it warped and twisted—

Then, in an instant, the ship vanished.

The Blackstone Gate was functioning perfectly.

The expedition ship had entered the Webway!

Eden let out a deep breath of relief.

He adjusted the reclining feature of the Blackstone Throne, pulled down an eye mask, and lay back comfortably.

"Alright, my part is done. Ti for so sleep."

Before long, he had dozed off.

...

Inside the Webway

The expedition ship erged from the warp-twisted portal, smoothly entering the Webway.

Inside the vessel, in a secure chamber, Carter and the Thunder Guardians stood guarding a sealed tal containnt pod.

They waited in silence.

Hiss—

The containnt pod's hatch slowly opened, revealing a glass incubation chamber filled with a nutrient-rich solution.

Inside it—

A cloned body of Eden floated, perfectly preserved.

As the liquid drained, the clone opened its eyes and slowly stepped out—barefoot.

Eden—his clone—stretched, blinking as he adjusted to the new body.

"Pfft, finally! It feels so much better to be out here!"

His voice was filled with relief.

Spitting out a few traces of nutrient fluid, he couldn't help but feel lucky—

He had actually managed to control this clone body remotely from the Blackstone Throne.

Otherwise, he really would have been stuck on that damn chair forever.

"Savior!"

Carter and the Thunder Guardians imdiately saluted.

Eden waved them off lazily.

"Alright, alright. No need for formalities. Now, why are you all standing here like statues? Go do your jobs."

Once they had cleared out, Eden opened a storage locker, pulled out a robe, and draped it over himself.

Excitent sparked in his eyes.

"Finally, I get to see the Webway with my own eyes…"

He eagerly stepped forward—

But before he could reach the observation window, the entire ship shuddered violently.

BOOM!

A deep explosion echoed through the hull.

Eden froze in place.

That sound—

It wasn't from external impact.

It was from the ship's own macro-cannons firing.

They were under attack.
