Mars. Deep beneath the surface – Tinos Hypercubic Labyrinth.

Bzzz~

Under the control of the Guardian Order's tech-sages, the intricate machine powered on, emitting a beam of energy—

Which was projected onto the C'tan shard.

Thump, thump, thump!

The shard, pulsating like a heart inside the chanical ring, was agitated and began beating more violently.

The once dormant shard grew increasingly active, radiating a stronger tide of dark green light. The pulse of life within it beca clearer and more intense.

Everyone could feel it—the influence this rhythm had on all machinery.

It contained the very essence of all machines, as if all the constructs in the universe were destined to bow before it!

"Praise the Omnissiah!"

The tech-sages collapsed to their knees before the overwhelming power, lost in fanatical devotion.

One by one, they tore the implants from their bodies—offering them to the great Omnissiah.

As each implant was ripped from flesh and tal, their augnted bodies crumbled, leaving them paralyzed.

Even as they fell, they continued to pray and worship fanatically.

It was grotesque, terrifying.

This was the true god of the Adeptus chanicus—or more precisely, the true master of this shard:

The Void Dragon, once one of the mightiest of the C'tan.

The Void Dragon had dominion over all machines. Even shattered, even as re fragnts, it exerted imnse influence over chanical constructs.

In truth, the Void Dragon might be the Imperium's most dangerous enemy.

Because humanity was utterly dependent on machines—and had blindly placed their trust in them.

Not just the Tech-Priests—most citizens of the Imperium bore implants of so kind.

If the Void Dragon ever awakened and restored its full form, it could disable every machine in the Imperium.

Total collapse.

Worse, it could seize control of every chanical device and implant.

Such a catastrophe would eclipse even the n of Iron rebellion.

Outside the labyrinth gates—

"What trendous power..."

Oud Oudia Raskian's imnse, building-sized form trembled slightly. His emotions were complicated.

He both yearned for this power—and feared it.

He could feel it clearly—

If he entered the chamber, he would likely suffer the sa fate as the tech-sages.

Still, the Fabricator General had already made up his mind. One day, he would find a way to control this force.

When that day ca, no one would dare defy his will again.

"Such overwhelming power will surely annihilate that damned heretical platform!"

Oudia was ecstatic.

After so much preparation, the mont of victory had finally co.

The resistance's struggle was laughable.

The fate of the heretical platform they cherished was now in his hands.

All he had to do—was pull the chanical lever.

The great power of the Void Dragon would surge through the conduits and obliterate the heretical platform on the network level—

Along with that abominable AI, Webby.

CLUNK!

Oudia yanked down the lever without hesitation. The dark green energy surged through the cables, shooting toward the portal.

It then reached a chanical sphere linked to a central databank.

"This is what happens when you defy the Fabricator General!"

Oudia sneered.

He couldn't wait to see the forum vaporized—and the shock and fear on his enemies' faces.

Without the heretical platform, the dissenters were nothing but scattered sand.

With the power of Mars HQ and the conservative faction, he could crush them one by one!

Once their leaders were removed and replaced with loyal conservatives—

The entire chanicus would have no choice but to submit to his will.

And once the chanicus was unified under him—

He would beco the most powerful man in the Imperium.

Not even the Primarchs could point fingers at him!

Oudia fantasized proudly about the future. His optical sensors glowed brighter with excitent.

"Great Mars shal—"

BOOM—

The chanical sphere exploded!

The outpouring of dark green energy disrupted his systems, disabling his shields.

Shards from the blast hit him square in the face.

???

Omnissiah, what just happened?

Oudia's voice caught in his throat, like a strangled rooster.

Before he could react—

The guiding machine inside the Tinos Labyrinth also exploded.

Shockwaves rippled outward. The unleashed energy struck several elders of the Guardian Order, gravely injuring them.

They collapsed in agony.

BOOM—

Oudia's out-of-control body crashed to the ground like a toppling fortress.

Instantly, the labyrinth's failsafe system detected the disturbance—

And responded by sealing the C'tan shard's chamber.

The labyrinth's gate slamd shut, locking the entire structure in airtight containnt—

Blocking out all external interference and danger.

"Soone tell what the hell just happened!!"

Oudia roared in fury, forcing his damaged body upright.

The Grand Elder of the Guardian Order wailed:

"Omnissiah preserve us—the gate has locked again! We've lost access permissions!"

They had spent thousands of years just to acquire a sliver of access—

The chance to touch that divine power.

Now it was gone!

And the labyrinth's creators possessed unmatched chanical knowledge—

Even they couldn't force open the door.

"Oudia, this is YOUR fault! You insisted on using the Void Dragon's power— And this is the result!"

The elders began shouting and beating him with their staffs, plunging the scene into chaos.

"Silence! ENOUGH!!"

Oudia howled in rage, but couldn't stop them.

If his weapons systems weren't malfunctioning, he'd have blasted these old fools to pieces!

Luckily, the Legio Cybernetica guards arrived just in ti, dragging the elders away—

Restoring order, for the mont.

Then, the truth ca out:

The attack failed because the cha Forum was shut down.

Not only had it gone offline—it had severed all network connections.

This caused the Void Dragon's power to over-accumulate, which overloaded the guiding machine.

Worst of all—that damned public statent.

Originally, Oud Oudia had attacked the forum in the na of Mars HQ.

But the announcent had pointed the finger directly at him alone!

Reading it, Oudia was overwheld by an indescribable sense of crisis.

The struggle had entered a dangerous stage.

One wrong move—and he could lose everything.

"Quick! Mobilize all forces to reinforce Mars!!"

Oudia acted imdiately.

There was no ti to hesitate. He had to crush the dissenters with overwhelming force—

Or risk losing all his power.

And he couldn't show the slightest weakness. If the dissenters caught even a hint of fear—

They would swarm him.

Fortunately, the conservative faction was still strong.

After Mars HQ issued its decree, hundreds of Forge Worlds, Titan Legions, and Knight Houses pledged their support.

As reinforcents began mobilizing—

Oudia felt a asure of relief. With this force, not even Holy Terra could challenge him.

All he had to do now was use the full might of Mars HQ to suppress the most defiant Forge Worlds—

And victory would be his.

anwhile, on Holy Terra...

The High Lords and institution leaders fell silent.

At this point, unless Oudia personally requested assistance, they couldn't interfere.

Otherwise, it could trigger an even greater crisis.

...

A Forge World.

The cha Forum shutdown sparked a massive uproar.

In a shadowy alley—

"OUUUUDIAAAA, F*CK YOUUUUU!"

Several Tech-Priests from the Webby cult shouted in rage, sparking instant resonance.

Their outcry spread like wildfire.

Their anger ignited the crowd.

They stepped into the center of the street, cursing with wild abandon. More Tech-Priests joined them.

Before long, a massive crowd was marching behind them.

In truth, many didn't know where they were going or why.

They just followed the crowd, chanting curses at the Fabricator General.

Seeing the growing movent, more curious Tech-Priests ca to watch—and joined in.

The group swelled rapidly.

...

Gear Avenue.

As the procession passed a lab, a Tech-Priest—exhausted from days of work—was roused by the noise.

He poked his head out and looked at the crowded streets.

Bleary-eyed, he mumbled,

"Omnissiah above... why are there so many people?"

Suddenly, soone in the crowd made eye contact and yelled, "Hey bro, you in?"

"Oh... okay!"

Just those words—"you in?"—had a strange power.

He didn't know them. Didn't ask where or why.

He simply threw on his robes, leapt from the window, and joined the parade.

No clue what was happening—but following the crowd had to be right.

As the protest advanced, more and more Tech-Priests joined.

Suddenly, the Webby cultists at the front halted.

So did the whole crowd.

They looked around at one another, confused.

Only now did they start wondering:

Where exactly are we going?

There were so many of them—surely they needed to do sothing, right?

Otherwise, all this yelling was exhausting.

And when large crowds gather, there's always soone who steps up to "strategize."

One smart guy scratched his head, looked ahead, and muttered:

"Hey... this road leads to the Fabrication Palace, doesn't it?"

That did it.

"You're right! Let's go to the Fabrication Palace!"

"Yeah! I heard the Fabricator Director only got his job by sucking up to the conservatives—

And HE issued the forum ban!"

The lead Tech-Priest turned to the crowd and bellowed:

"BROTHERS! TO THE FABRICATION PALACE!!"

"He's a conservative! He must pay the price!"

"SCREW THAT BASTARD DIRECTOR!!"

The crowd surged forward, now with a clear goal.

And they were organized.

This wasn't just a rabble.

These were elite engineers.

Weapon-making elite engineers.

They called for reinforcents and split into teams.

More Tech-Priests arrived—hauling heavy weaponry.

Soone even rolled out a freshly built macro-cannon from his lab.

They swept through the city like a flood, heading for the palace.

The local guards didn't dare interfere.

This wasn't a gang—it was a legion of Tech-Priests.

Many were full Magi.

Their research projects included everything from lta rays to gravity weapons, super-heavy tanks, customized combat servitors, and entire aerial assault platforms.

With firepower like this, they could conquer a planet.

The guards backed off, rely reporting developnts to the palace.

And quietly escorting the mob like security.

This was no longer a protest.

It was a marching army.

A massive, ticking powder keg headed for the Fabrication Palace.

Inside the palace—

"Omnissiah... are they coming to depose ?!"

The Fabricator Director was panicking.

"The decree ca from Mars HQ! I had no choice! Besides, I only suggested it... I didn't enforce it!"

He wanted to run—get to Mars HQ where it was safe.

But so bastard had locked the spaceport and activated orbital cannons.

All escape routes were blocked.

Ironically, the palace—despite the threat—was the safest place right now thanks to its powerful shielding system.

"Say sothing!!"

He turned to his two deputy directors for help.

Together, the three of them had enough firepower to hold the line temporarily.

But only temporarily. If full war broke out, they'd have to run.

The deputies, however, just stared coldly.

They didn't like him—and didn't want to be involved.

"This is your ss, Director. You fix it."

"That's right. If you don't go out now, they'll break in."

Their tone was firm.

This wasn't just about the palace anymore—any wrong move could kill them all.

The Director was furious.

From their expressions, if he didn't go out, they might throw him out themselves.

He wasn't even a proper conservative—he'd never been in their inner circle.

Why die for them?

He gritted his teeth, activated every defensive field he had, and mounted a hover platform—

Heading to the square.

He had to make this crowd disperse.

As he erged, the sheer size of the crowd terrified him.

The slogans made him tremble.

He hadn't realized how much the Tech-Priests loved the forum—or how much they hated the conservatives.

This was bad...

Bzzz~

The palace shields activated.

The Director floated to the edge and activated the voice amplifier.

"My friends, I understand your anger, but—"

ROAAAAR!

The crowd's rage surged, drowning him out.

Soone even set up a heavy cannon.

"So it's war, then? You forced my hand!"

The Director gave up on peace. He made his decision.

BOOM—BOOM—BOOM

Giant cannons rose from the palace, their black muzzles nacing.

The crowd quieted.

No one backed down. They stared angrily ahead.

More energy shields began to shimr among the crowd.

Tension reached its peak.

Everyone held their breath.

Then—

The Director finally got a chance to speak. He turned the amplifier to maximum and shouted:

"OUDIA RASKIAN, F*CK YOUUUU!!"

His voice echoed across the square.

???

The crowd was stunned.

Then—cheers erupted!

Seeing the reaction, the Director exhaled deeply.

He'd survived.

Luckily, he'd severed ties with the conservatives just in ti.

He was never truly one of them anyway.

Why die with them?

"Protest! Protest!"

The Director stepped through the shield barrier and blended into the crowd with ease.

He shouted, "Down with the decree! Long live the cha Forum!"

Over and over, he yelled slogans.

He was now the protest leader.

He fully backed the people's demands. Opposing the conservatives. Calling for Oudia's trial.

And no one was louder than him.

If Oudia didn't fall—he was finished.

At the front of the procession, the Director raised his fist and roared:

"Down with the decree! Put Oudia on trial!!"

...

Lucius Forge World. Fabrication Palace.

The conservatives were being driven out.

The Tech-Magi were furious: "You damn conservative! GET OUT!"

An old Tech-Magus snapped: "You're the conservative! Your whole family's conservative! I'm a forum mber, not one of those conservatives!"

"Got any proof?"

The old man froze. Everyone stared.

Then, with a grunt, he opened a hidden pocket—

And revealed dozens of adorable Webby emblems.

GASP!

The crowd was stunned.

Even a thick-browed old-tir like him had secretly defected—and joined the Webby cult?!

The suspicion vanished instantly.

Everyone knew the Webby cult was the staunchest supporter of the cha Forum.

And the old guy's badges were top-tier—only veteran mbers could earn them.

At the sa ti—

Across all Forge Worlds not under conservative control—

The rage of the Tech-Priests ignited.

Similar uprisings broke out everywhere.

Suddenly, the conservatives beca despised—and dangerous.

People scrambled to distance themselves—

And many were the first to call for a purge...
