Now reading: Chapter 530 - 529: The Seventh Layer, The Black Emperor's Pr from Warhammer: The 11th Primarch - The Black Emperor, a Action novel by DaoistJinzu.

Upon entering the Kingdom of Disorder, Nareth first went to the Blasphemous Tablet, browsing the newly unlocked the other half of the Sequence 6 potion recipes.

As his gaze swept over the Sequence 6 "Dawn Paladin" recipe of the "Twilight Giant" path, he noticed that one of the main ingredients was the tallic hide of the Basekanic.

'Hmm... A key feature of the "Dawn Paladin" is the exceptionally defensive "Dawn Armor." The Basekanic's tallic hide possesses superior defense, so it's fitting.'

With a thought, Nareth arrived at the fourth layer.

His psychic energy extended, touching Thierry Viera's psychic orb.

Seeing that Thierry was alone, he focused, forming the information he wished to convey in his mind and transmitting it to the orb through a subtle connection.

Across countless light-years, Thierry's mind suddenly filled with rising black mist.

He saw the majestic Black Emperor sitting on a throne. A commanding voice sounded: "Remove your armor and pray to ."

"By your will, my Lord."

Thierry imdiately went to his Captain's quarters, removed his armor suit, and donned a black robe embroidered with a tallic-colored sword on the chest.

Then, he knelt before the altar in his quarters, clasped his hands together with fingers pointing downwards in the ritual gesture, and chanted in Dunnish.

"Black Emperor of Shadows of Order"

"..."

"I beseech Thy gaze,

"I beseech Thy favor."

"..."

On the second repetition, black mist rose and engulfed him.

Entering the mysterious realm shrouded in black mist, Thierry bowed.

"My Lord."

"Drink this."

As the commanding voice sounded, Thierry saw a potion floating before him.

The potion was dim, but light continuously erged from within.

He imdiately took the potion, tilted his head back, and drank.

Imdiately, he felt as if he had swallowed a pot of boiling nutrient paste. His body burned.

Thierry activated his Spirit Vision, observing himself. He saw the bright white light of his transhuman body within, flashing dazzlingly.

Light emanated from every part of his body, swelling his fra.

Thierry imdiately understood why the Black Emperor had told him to remove his armor, because...

His body was growing.

Unlike during his implantation surgeries, where his body grew gradually, his fra expanded in an instant.

Nareth watched as Thierry's body visibly grew taller and broader.

In an instant, his slightly loose black robe was burst, hanging on him, barely covering his vital areas.

Dozens of seconds later, the newly promoted "Dawn Paladin's" growth spurt ended.

The Primarch's gaze swept over him, gauging the "Dawn Paladin's" height.

'Three ters tall. About what I expected. Even the tall Salamanders among the Astartes won't match Thierry.'

'Even an ordinary human, upon becoming a "Dawn Paladin," becos a giant, at least two ters tall.'

'In terms of height, physique, strength, and defense, he should be second beneath the Primarchs.'

Nareth looked at Thierry, who was a bit embarrassed as he reined in his overflowing psychic power. He couldn't help but smile.

"Now, facing Slaught again, aside from an Overseer, none can threaten you."

Just as he was about to send Thierry back to the Razor, he rembered Thierry's original Dominum Armor.

Though Thierry hadn't worn it long, the intensity of the battles he'd fought was far beyond that of an ordinary Armor. The Astartes who wore it would inevitably beco an elite warrior in a short ti.

"Have the Forge Lord make you a new set. Choose soone worthy to bestow the old one upon."

Nareth rembered that in the future, soone on Necromunda would luckily find a discarded Hunting rig.

Upon donning it, the suit, based on the data of its previous owner stored in its adaptive system, would comprehensively modify his body.

Within days, he would rapidly grow into a strongman, rising through the hive.

"By your will, my Lord."

Thierry breathed a sigh of relief as the black mist engulfed him.

After sending Thierry back to the Razor, Nareth willed himself to the newly opened seventh layer.

The mont he set foot there, the Primarch's vision was filled with countless ropes of various shapes.

Spiderweb-like threads filled the sky. Chains, thick as pythons, writhed on the ground like tentacles. Electric serpents, crackling with lightning, slithered all around...

The "Baron of Corruption" gazed around. Through his vision of the threads of law, he deconstructed the ropes before him.

In the "Baron of Corruption's" sight, the chains instantly transford into countless threads of law, different in color and thickness, twisted and intertwined, like a snake pit writhing with countless small snakes.

'Threads of law... forming 'ropes.''

'Previous spaces only manifested one aspect of a Sequence upon opening. This one is composed of two aspects.'

The "Baron of Corruption's" eyes deepened. He took a step forward, hands clasped behind his back.

His body brushed against an electric serpent. He saw blue-green threads of law rise up, encircling him, as if about to strike.

White threads, like spider silk, also cover him like a hunting net.

Nareth made no move. The lightning and the web dispersed on their own before touching him.

"Hmm?"

Nareth paused thoughtfully.

"'Ropes' are ant for binding. The threads of law that compose them are manifestations of law."

"Then the function of this layer is..."

With a thought, he went to the first layer.

Various palaces within the black mist stored different potion materials.

Nareth went straight to one palace. Within golden amber, three worm-creatures were bound.

He cautiously chose the one captured by Szczesny, the weakest of the three Slaught.

Nareth raised his hand, grasping the enormous amber, and returned to the seventh layer.

He casually threw the amber out while raising his left arm. His gauntlet glowed with golden light as the "Imprisoned" Slaught was freed.

Cody felt as if he had experienced a long, unconscious dream. Just as he began tumbling through the air, hundreds of electric serpents pounced on him.

Clusters of worms, as if electrocuted, shriveled up.

The electric shock instantly jolted Cody awake. His first thought was that he was under psychic lightning attack from a biomancer.

The Slaught was about to unleash his evil will to suppress the psyker when he suddenly saw the black-armored warrior standing not far away.

His movents imdiately beca cautious. He carefully released a tiny fraction of his will.

Cody cautiously glanced at Nareth. Seeing him just staring, making no move, the worms writhed.

The Slaught cautiously took a step forward.

Countless electric serpentssuddenly pounced. The clusters of worms, wracked with pain, shriveled again.

Nareth watched the Slaught, thinking to himself.

'The experint succeeded. The main function of the seventh layer is confinent.'

'Then, what is its purpose for ...?'

The "Baron of Corruption" looked up at the sky, focusing on the ropes only he could see.

'As the master of the Kingdom of Disorder, I can control this space, commanding it to form 'ropes' according to my will.'

With a thought, the spider silk dispersed into individual threads of law, wrapped around the Slaught.

Clusters of worms were tightly bound by an invisible net, exposing the fat worms within and the dark fluids, drastically different from the necrotic fluids on the surface.

Cody, his internal weaknesses exposed, struggled desperately in terror. But he found his evil will couldn't stop what was happening.

'This wasn't a telekinetic attack from a psyker!'

He awaited death in despair, but found Nareth wasn't killing him.

His body was rely ford into a ball, then stretched back into humanoid shape, over and over.

After kneading the worm-creature for a while, Nareth released him and continued pondering.

'If a Slaught can be bound here, what about even more powerful beings?'

Nareth couldn't help but think of the Star God in the Atilla system, and the will of the Silent Tears that Ramsey had contacted at the Elysian Gate. He hadn't dared to approach them before, lacking confidence.

'The Necrons use their labyrinths to imprison C'tan shards.'

'Perhaps I can use another thod to imprison them.'

'I don't have the power to imprison a C'tan shard myself, but the Kingdom of Disorder is a sefiroth. It should be able to suppress a C'tan shard that is already imprisoned.'

Having this thought, Nareth continued.

'The significance of this is transferring a C'tan shard imprisoned in the outside world to my private domain, for my exclusive use.'

'This is a prison!'

After clarifying the function of the seventh layer, he thought further.

'But I still lack the ability to benefit from it now.'

A chain suddenly ford in the "Baron of Corruption's" vision, binding the Slaught.

A flash of inspiration struck him.

'Hmm. 'Ropes' composed of threads of law, a combination of two abilities.'

'I 'linked' the shadow aspect of the Kingdom of Disorder with the fourth layer, achieving intergalactic real-ti communication and etings. That was a combination of two layers.'

'Similarly, I could bind individuals in the seventh layer with 'ropes,' and link them through the fourth layer. This should allow to draw upon their power to so extent.'

Thinking of how the Necrons use C'tan shards as power sources and weapons, he thought.

'I should also be able to use a C'tan shard as a power center, supplying energy to other layers.'

'Perhaps I can even invoke their abilities through several ans.'

With this thought, his gaze fell upon the Slaught again. He imdiately decided to use him for experints first.

With a thought, he returned to the real world.

Nareth sent ssages to Arsena and Thomas, summoning them.
