Angel glanced at the Boiling Gentleman, silently saying nothing.
From the energy wave patterns ing from afar, Angel could tell that this green-skinned giant troll definitely possessed power surpassing a normal Official Wizard. In terms of battle strength, it was probably at the edge of True Knowledge.
And yet, in the Boiling Gentleman’s words, it was... too weak?
In fact, the Boiling Gentleman was not lying. Machia Walen faced this one-eyed giant troll without a hint of pressure.
Angel only saw Machia Walen’s figure turn into red steam, instantly appearing beside the one-eyed giant troll. With flashes of light and shadow, in no time, after a cry of anguish, Machia Walen broke through its chest with a large hole, and with an agile roll, stood still.
As for the one-eyed giant troll, it fell heavily to the ground, and disappeared amidst a rising mist.

Although this one-eyed giant troll was a Night Fiend, lacking some of the desperate counterattacks of a real Magical Creature at the brink of death, its actual strength was not that much less than a real Magical Creature.

With the rapier broken, the wasp swordsman had no power to resist and was ultimately smashed into a puddle of flesh by Machia Walen.
However, the wasp swordsman was just a virtual Night Fiend, and those remains eventually turned into smoke and disappeared, leaving the stage as clean as before.
"This Night Fiend, though able to make Machia Walen use part of the Origin of Chaos power from the Power Furnace, merely consumed the Origin of Chaos yet was unable to let the Power Furnace enter the thermal excitation stage of the Origin of Chaos cycle... it must activate Machia Walen’s Killing Desire." The voice of the Boiling Gentleman came from under the bandages, with a buzzing texture.
Angel did not speak, but a doubt arose in his heart:
The power of the Origin of Chaos is incredibly strong, not only substituting for energy consumption but also serving as a direct means of attack. This could already be seen from Machia Walen’s battle.
Such powerful Origin of Chaos, according to the Boiling Gentleman, even after consumption can breed in battle?
If the Origin of Chaos can indeed cycle infinitely, wouldn’t the battle be endless?
With this doubt, Angel continued to watch the uping stage experiment.
In Machia Walen’s third battle, it wasn’t a single Night Fiend, but a group of nearly twenty large and small gargoyles. Though the individual strength of the gargoyles was similar to the one-eyed giant troll from the first match, they enpassed different types: flying, burrowing, long-range, melee, and even a Gargoyle Restorer.
Against such an all-around battle formation, Machia Walen found itself in a tough battle for the first time.
Although Machia Walen didn’t immediately reveal any flaws, the hard fight brought about was a sustained consumption.
The originally steampunk-style armor continuously emitted thick red steam; but as time went on, the color of the steam became lighter and even began to bee colorless.
This meant that the Origin of Chaos inside the Power Furnace was decreasing.
When Machia Walen was struck in the chest by a gargoyle with Demon Wings and fell heavily to the ground, the Origin of Chaos energy had reached the final consumption warning line. Continuing the consumption would result in the collapse of the Origin of Chaos and Machia Walen’s own death.
Just as Machia Walen was about to reach its limit, its aura suddenly changed.
A strong Killing Desire rose from within Machia Walen.
When the Killing Desire reached a certain limit, the dim red viewfinder started to glow red again, and the steam erupting from the pipes on its armor once again turned red.
Angel watched as Machia Walen transitioned from a state of exhaustion back to a bat state.
The Origin of Chaos around it became active once more!

This time, the Ghostly Shadows were no longer Night Fiends of a monster type. Instead, they were humans.
A group of human wizards, dressed in robes, appeared in various forms.
Machia Walen’s originally slowly settling Killing Desire flared up again upon seeing this group of human wizards.
And even more intensely than before!
In the following five minutes, Angel witnessed a true massacre. The victims were the group of human wizards.
Machia Walen’s performance contrasted pletely with its previous ones, with steam emanating from its entire body almost all in a thick blood-red color. This meant that throughout, Machia Walen maintained its optimal bat state!
Even when facing the gargoyles, it hadn’t reached such a good state.
Evidently, Machia Walen’s Killing Desire towards humans far outweighed its Killing Desire towards the gargoyles!
And the intense Killing Desire, paired with constant slaughter, was the source of the Origin of Chaos power!
The terrifying endurance of the Power Furnace was now manifesting vividly.
When this massacre concluded, Angel exhaled a long breath. Even though these human wizards were just virtual Night Fiends, Angel still felt a sense of sorrow for their demise.
However, this emotion soon subsided. More than these emotions, what he was now more concerned with was the Power Furnace itself.
