Chapter 1034: Section 1035: Fla Mark

“`

Fire Transmission Stone?!

Angel hesitated for a mont before taking out several spheres that radiated a crimson luminescence from his bracelet.

As he took out these spheres, the temperature in the air slowly rose. The frigid air interwove with the fiery red light emanating from the spheres, creating a space where the visuals seed distorted.

Odeclass glanced at them and then looked away.

These are shattered fragnts of the Fire Transmission Stone. Creatures under the command of the Fire Transmission Demons all have sothing similar. Called fragnts, but in reality, they are vastly different from the complete Fire Transmission Stone.

Even tens of thousands of fragnts of the Fire Transmission Stone are no match for a single complete stone.

Odeclass didn’t speak, but the disdain in his eyes was undisguised. Angel knew that the fragnts of the Fire Transmission Stone were definitely inferior to the complete ones. He had taken them out only to inquire about one thing.

“Honorable Lord Odeclass, I have heard that the Fire Transmission Stone is synthesized from such fragnts.”

Odeclass was silent for a mont, then nodded.

“I am an Alchemist, and I can attempt to fuse these fragnts of the Fire Transmission Stone. However, I do not know the thod of synthesis…”

These fragnts of the Fire Transmission Stone had been obtained from a Fire Transmission Bone Witch outside the Ashenrock Giantstone. At that ti, Madeline had told him the fragnts weren’t very useful, but a complete Fire Transmission Stone was exceedingly rare.

However, the thod for synthesizing the Fire Transmission Stone, legend had it, was known only to the Fire Transmission Demons.

A Fire Transmission Demon was at least at the True Knowledge Level. If you were powerful, killing it was simple, but to obtain the thod of synthesizing the Fire Transmission Stone from it was near impossible.

The thod for synthesizing the Fire Transmission Stone was the greatest secret guarded by the Fire Transmission Demon.

Angel certainly couldn’t face a Fire Transmission Demon, and even if soone else could help him kill one, obtaining the synthesis thod was out of the question. Thus, he could only inquire about it from Odeclass.

Since Odeclass needed the Fire Transmission Stone, perhaps he had the thod of synthesis?

Yet, Odeclass’s reply was short and decisive: “No.”

Angel’s expression turned sowhat dim. Without the synthesis thod, the task was almost impossible to complete.

The coveted synthesis thod guarded by the Fire Transmission Demon, no Wizard had obtained for years… Perhaps so had, but at least Angel had not heard of it.

Angel didn’t believe he had the luck to obtain it. Moreover, with Toby by his side, he couldn’t even begin to hope for any good fortune.

Odeclass’s task was almost impossible to complete, and the Yerfa Wizard was in another plane. Was Toby’s misfortune only to be fading with ti?

Furthermore, even if ti could erode it, they would need a place of safety, but where in the Abyss could one find such a place?

While Angel was disheartened, Odeclass was actually entertaining another thought.

Angel had said a phrase before—I am an Alchemist.

It was this phrase that reminded Odeclass of sothing “Feng” had once ntioned. Alchemists were a rare presence in the entire Wizards’ Realm. If indeed soone could synthesize a Fire Transmission Stone, it would likely only be an Alchemist.

If Angel had not spoken these words, Odeclass might have already sent him away from Ice Valley, but after declaring his profession, Odeclass, who initially had little faith that Angel could bring back a Fire Transmission Stone, now harbored a sliver of hope.

It was this flicker of hope that spurred him to reveal new information.

“Although I do not know the thod to synthesize the Fire Transmission Stone, I do know where one might find it.”

Angel left Ice Valley.

As he faced the raging snowstorm and stepped out of Ice Valley, the lingering flas on his body ford a fla-shaped mark that attached itself to his left earlobe.

From a distance, it looked like a fla-shaped earring.

This Fla Mark, given by Odeclass, served only two purposes: to avoid the chaotic curse of Ice Valley and to indicate that Angel was temporarily aligned with Odeclass’s faction.

Previously, when Angel had left the Ice Crystal Palace, he had been eroded by the external curse. The Fla Mark then turned into a circle of firelight around him, blocking the chaotic curse of Ice Valley.

It can be said that until the Fla Mark vanished, Angel could move freely in and out of Ice Valley without interference from the curse.

As for the second function of the Fla Mark, it was also the key as to whether Angel could obtain the thod of synthesizing the Fire Transmission Stone this ti.

With the Fla Mark on him, it indicated not only his alignnt with Odeclass’s faction but also temporarily suppressed his human aura.

In the wild, if other Demons discovered him, at least they would not attack him because of his identity.

Of course, so Demons cared little for such affiliations and were naturally bloodthirsty. Against such Demons, the Fla Mark would be of no use. However, at least the Demons associated with Odeclass’s faction would no longer harm him.

This ti, Angel’s target was an underground Demon City called Lassudral.

According to Odeclass, there was a Half-Blood Demon there who was once related to an old friend of his. This Half-Blood Demon, aside from having half the bloodline of the indigenous Abyss peoples, had the other half of its bloodline from a Fire Transmission Demon.

Odeclass had a friend nad “Feng” who had ntioned a past connection with this Half-Blood Demon and had said that it received a complete inheritance from a Fire Transmission Demon. With that in mind, it should also possess the thod for synthesizing the Fire Transmission Stone.

“`

Angel’s task was to go to Lassudral to find the Half-Blood Demon and figure out how to procure the synthesis thod for the Fire Transmission Stone.

To infiltrate Demon City, the Fla Mark on his body was indispensable.

After leaving Ice Valley, it took Angel less than half an hour to leave the mountains.

He didn’t see Fafnir at the entrance to the mountains and thought she had left. However, as he was determining his next move, Fafnir suddenly descended from the sky.

Fafnir was still in human form, her sensual, dark complexion glossy and slick.

“You’re actually not dead?” were Fafnir’s first words upon seeing Angel.

Angel: “…” What could he say? It seed that Fafnir had always harbored the attitude that she might be killed by Odeclass.

“Could it be his personality has changed?” Fafnir murmured to herself, her gaze continuing to assess Angel, skepticism in her eyes, until it finally settled on his left earlobe.

That Fla Mark made Fafnir’s expression lapse into a montary daze.

Fafnir stared dumbly at the Fla Mark, as if through the flickering fla phantom on Angel’s earlobe, she could see the massive and terrifying dragon body.

The fixated look in Fafnir’s eyes sent a chill down Angel’s spine.

Her gaze was almost identical to the way Odeclass had looked at the painting of Binaqionse!

Could it be that his previous guess was right? Had a lodramatic romance unfolded between the three dragons, Fafnir, Odeclass, and Binaqionse?

While his thoughts were swirling, Fafnir let out a soft sigh.

She had intended to ask about the Fla Mark but restrained herself, rely saying, “Did Odeclass remove the calamity from your little bird?”

Angel: “…” What does she an ‘my little bird’? It’s Toby! And after Toby transford into a Gryphon, he has beco quite large!

Despite internally grumbling, Angel’s deanor remained highly respectful.

He took Toby out from his bracelet, and Toby was still in a deep slumber, albeit now encased within an ice ball.

This ice ball was the work of Odeclass, and how he, a Fla Dragon, managed to craft it was beyond Angel.

According to Odeclass, this ice ball could temporarily suppress Toby’s bad luck.

However, the ti to suppress the misfortune was limited, roughly about two hundred hours.

Translated into days, that amounted to roughly seven to eight days.

Therefore, Angel didn’t have much ti; he needed to procure the synthesis thod for the Fire Transmission Stone within this brief period and return from Lassudral to Ice Valley.

Angel, holding the ice ball with Toby inside, briefly recounted his experiences after arriving in Ice Valley.

Truth be told, the experience was brief. Odeclass’s words to him didn’t amount to more than ten sentences in total, with most of them revolving around the Half-Blood Demon from Lassudral.

So, he finished recounting rather quickly.

After listening, Fafnir’s expression was peculiar. Indeed, Odeclass’s words seed to match his personality, yet she couldn’t comprehend many of his choices.

Firstly, he actually didn’t kill this human?

Secondly, he gave this frail human a glimr of hope by offering the Fire Transmission Stone in exchange for lifting the calamity.

She was well aware of the significance of the Fire Transmission Stone to Odeclass. She had even heard Binaqionse say that Odeclass claid he would befriend whoever brought him a complete Fire Transmission Stone.

It could be said that the Fire Transmission Stone was of imnse importance to Odeclass.

And yet he had entrusted this task to this human? And furthermore, he had granted this human the Fla Mark and even helped suppress the bird’s calamity.

All of this seed to indicate an attitude: Odeclass believed that Angel might actually be able to obtain the Fire Transmission Stone.

But on what grounds did Odeclass hold such a belief? This was but a contemptible human, what rits did he have?

She asked repeatedly about the details, and Angel did not hide anything, disclosing everything.

Fafnir could tell Angel wasn’t lying, but it was precisely because everything was so logical that she felt even more perplexed.

Since she couldn’t figure it out, she decided to set it aside for the ti being and instead asked about sothing else.

“After he received that piece of Frost Dragon Scale, did he ask anything about ?” asked Fafnir. Although her expression was calm, the slight contraction of her pupils indicated her inner turmoil wasn’t as serene as it seed.

Angel shook his head: “Lord Odeclass didn’t say anything.”

In fact, there was a reaction. When Angel ntioned Fafnir, Odeclass’s eyes flashed with a clear sign of anger.

However, such things were better left unsaid.
