Chapter 1142: Section 1143 Fla Bird Cage

“What?!” This was a suddenly raised female voice, “Damn it, why does it have to happen now… Alright, I got it.”

Kanter watched as Sinafa ended the communication and walked over from the darkness.

“Kanter, Maher has sent a ssage. We must have Samantha return imdiately; we need to retreat,” said Sinafa, with a mix of confusion and helplessness in her fire-filled eyes.

Although Kanter had been paying attention to Samantha’s side, he still faintly overheard the conversation between Sinafa and Maher. It seed that sothing had gone wrong in Lassudral.

“I understand.” Kanter didn’t imdiately ask for the reason but used his post-Nightfall intuition to locate Samantha on the other side of the Hunting Museum.

At this mont, Samantha was standing on high ground, looking down at the Hunting Museum from above. The dim light of ghostly fire outlined a faint glow around her.

“Samantha, there’s been a change in the situation, co back first,” whispered a voice carried by the night breeze into Samantha’s ears.

Samantha furrowed her brows. She had been stationed on the other side of the Hunting Museum to observe the changes. She had only just arrived, so why was she suddenly being asked to retreat?

As Samantha pondered, she suddenly felt a gaze sweep over her.

Looking down, she saw a figure standing in front of a window at the Hunting Museum. Through the colored glaze window, she could see it was a figure in a fiery red robe. She could not discern its face, but Samantha was certain that the gaze she felt earlier was from it.

“Fla Demon,” Samantha murmured to herself.

Sinafa had encountered it before, but at that ti, Sinafa was in poor health and did not engage with the Fla Demon; she retreated imdiately.

Samantha thought that the Fla Demon would co out to battle her upon noticing her presence. However, to her surprise, the Fla Demon rely glanced at her lightly, then withdrew its gaze.

Afterward, Samantha sensed that the Fla Demon’s gaze seed to glance in another direction before its figure disappeared from the window.

Samantha was puzzled by the Fla Demon’s intent—since it had discovered her, why did it not take any action?

Rustle rustle—

Suddenly, Samantha heard a series of subtle noises coming from afar. Listening closely, it seed to be the direction where the Fla Demon had been gazing.

Facing the direction, Samantha saw nothing unusual, and further away, hindered by the lack of light, all was shrouded in darkness.

Although she could not see clearly what was happening, Samantha had an ominous feeling that so kind of danger was growing in the darkness.

“Samantha?” Kanter’s voice carried through the night wind again, with a tone of confusion and urgency.

Only then did Samantha look away, her figure gradually turning into a colored glass water shadow and disappearing from the high ground. After a while, the colored glass shadow stepped elegantly to the crossroad.

The mont Samantha Fuyi appeared, she noticed that the expressions on Sinafa and Kanter’s faces were a bit off.

“What’s wrong?”

Before Sinafa could answer Samantha’s question, the rustling low murmur that had been echoing in her ears began to intensify and quickly transford into a thunderous roar accompanied by the trembling of the ground.

Samantha swiftly turned her head towards the source of the sound and saw rocks rolling down the earthquake-affected mountains while walls of dust rose high into the darkness.

What exactly happened?

Samantha’s confusion was addressed the next second by Sinafa, “Maher told that the Inscriptive Central Hub maintaining Demon City has been destroyed. Lassudral… is facing its end.”

Samantha had no ti to be shocked before the earthquakes grew even more violent.

“We must evacuate; the periphery of Lassudral has collapsed, and the collapse is spreading,” Sinafa quickly stated. “Given the frequency of these tremors, it won’t take minutes for this place to completely fall into the Void!”

This collapse was not only the land sinking. Samantha could also feel the spatial energy around her becoming frenzied. If they waited until the land began to sink before retreating, not even considering the danger of the collapse, the chaotic spatial energy alone would be enough to tear everything apart.

Samantha understood the urgency of the situation and, taking advantage of the fact that the frenzied spatial energy had not yet spread over, the three of them took to the skies.

On their return to the floating ice, Samantha clearly saw countless demons flying out of the dark Void below. Previously, these demons had all been hidden in other dinsions, but with the imminent danger of spatial collapse, they had no choice but to leave their dinsions and return to Lassudral in search of a chance to survive.

In this life-and-death situation, the demons no longer cared about humans or anything else. Even upon seeing Samantha and the others in the sky, they acted as if they had seen nothing.

Like birds and beasts, they sward and flew towards the Central Region.

Samantha did not take any action against these demons but instead turned to look at Sinafa, “The Hunting Museum is closer to the collapse. They…”

“Just look back yourself, and you’ll see,” Sinafa said, cutting off Samantha before she could finish and pointing behind her.

Turning her head to look back, Samantha saw the Hunting Museum, now very far away, appearing like a miniature toy house. Suddenly, a flash of firelight burst out from the Museum.

The light moved swiftly, with a clear target—just like the demons before, it was… the Central District of Lassudral!

Although the inside of that fla aurora was unclear, it didn’t take much thought to suspect that the people from the Hunting Museum were inside, maybe even Aoluxiya!

At that mont, Samantha also realized why the Fire Demons she saw earlier didn’t attack her. They were preparing to evacuate too; at such a ti, they naturally didn’t want any unexpected complications to arise.

“If the situation doesn’t change, the Central Region…” Samantha gazed into the distance at the Void Tower that lood vaguely. “That will inevitably be the final battlefield!”

From outside the Void, Lassudral seed like a pile of building blocks that was gradually falling apart.

However, this pile of blocks was now enveloped in a sphere of fla. This fla sphere, like a birdcage, prevented anyone inside from leaving while also barring those outside from entering.

Below Lassudral was the vortex that connected to the inner layers.

At this ti, many shadows flew out of the vortex. These strange and varied shadows could be vaguely seen in the light of the “Fla Bird Cage” above, with their terrifying and fierce demonic faces.

The arrival of the throne, the birth of the lord. For the entire barren realm, it was a grand event.

Countless demons, as if on a pilgrimage, erged from the vortex and gathered around the Fla Bird Cage. Although they couldn’t see inside the cage, not a single demon left; they all waited outside, waiting for the mont the birdcage would be lifted…

The Fla Bird Cage stood silently in the Void, and even though many did not co in person, the change here had attracted their attention nonetheless.

In the surface layer of the Abyss, within the Unlting Ice Valley.

Odeclass, clad in a black robe, sat on a crystal chair inside the palace on the cliff, his gaze quietly fixed on the mural on the wall.

In the mural was a pure white ice dragon, the very picture of Binaqionse.

His look was focused and filled with longing, like a devout worshipper in the church gazing at a sacred icon.

After an indeterminate amount of ti, Odeclass shifted his gaze from the mural, and a Fla Mark appeared out of thin air in the cold hall.

This Fla Mark was identical to the one on Angel’s ear.

Through the connection to the mark, Odeclass saw the Fla Bird Cage in the Void. Upon seeing this birdcage, Odeclass knew that a throne was about to arrive.

Even upon knowing the throne was associated with fla, Odeclass’ expression did not change, and the aura he exuded remained as calm as ever.

“Is it a coincidence, or is it your machination behind the scene?” Odeclass looked up at the mural, and for a mont, it seed he saw a human painter whispering in his ear.

Ti passed, and a sigh echoed softly through the palace. Then, once again, a long silence reigned in the hall.

In the cetery of the Land of Repose, in this space enveloped by the lengthiest night of ancient tis, lodious music reverberated.

But suddenly, the music stopped abruptly.

In the bar at the center of the cetery, Baltica placed the crystal harp back in her hands and looked towards the Void. Despite the distance, Baltica could still faintly see the existence of the Fla Bird Cage.

A puff of smoke erged from Baltica’s mouth, and within the hazy smoke, a strange yet alluring voice slowly said, “The vision of the Abyssal Demon Eye is to stand eternal. Heh, visions are grand, but it’s already difficult enough to ensure one’s own immortality, let alone keeping a city standing through eternity.”

“Oh, that boy seems to be still inside, right? Tsk tsk, quite an interesting human; I wonder if he’ll be able to co out alive.”

In a deeper part of the Void, far beyond the endless spatial distance from Lassudral.

A door of light pierced through the lightless nightfall.

Galal stepped out from the door of light, quietly observing the pitch-black Void before him. As a faint fluctuation took hold, a greenish ghostly fla lit up in the dark world.

This green ghostly fla was exactly the sa color as Aoluxiya’s eyes.

“Galal, I already know your intentions.” There was no voice, only a ripple that slowly spread out, causing the newcor to bow his head slowly.

“I also didn’t expect that the Abyssal Monarch would seize the power of the Abyssal Demon Eye at this ti.”

As he spoke, Galal could clearly sense a flash of yearning in the ghostly green fla before him.

“Galal, you should go.”

Galal nodded, ready to turn away, but then the entity in the Void suddenly added, “Take it with you.”

A flicker of light passed, and right in front of the green fla, an apparition of a figure appeared out of nowhere.

When Galal saw this figure, a hint of surprise erged in his usually unfathomable eyes.
