Chapter 1233: Section 1234 Odeclass’s Friendship

After flickering with red light for a while, the Fire Transmission Stone gradually cald down.

The amassed Fire Transmission Stone fragnts, piled up like a small mountain, in the end amounted to a palm-sized Fire Transmission Stone.

The terrifying energy convergence, once palpable, had now vanished.

“Did it succeed, or did it fail?” Angel mused the mont the alchemy concluded, feeling certain of success. Yet, after witnessing such an extrely simplistic anomaly, he began to doubt himself.

Perhaps he had made a mistake in the process? Or perhaps, the alchemy thod recorded on the scroll could be flawed?

Since this concoction wasn’t designed by him and lacked his personal concepts, he simply followed instructions closely, which was why he began to feel insecure.

Angel pondered, then started to construct the Eye of Nalda model in his Mind Space.

The “Server” was swiftly set up in his mind, which began retrieving information and data about the Fire Transmission Stone from his mory, and after a comprehensive analysis, Angel proceeded to appraise the stone in his hand.

When the results ca in, Angel was once again perplexed.

“It’s actually the Fire Transmission Stone?!” Angel sensed the information transmitted by the Server, his face a mix of shock and incredulity. He had been prepared for a flawed version, yet the final result was that he had indeed succeeded in the transmutation!

Looking at the Fire Transmission Stone in his hand, while it displayed no outward energy fluctuations, this was rely its state of returning to a primal simplicity. According to the records, the Fire Transmission Stone contained an almost boundless amount of fire energy!

However, Angel still couldn’t quite grasp that he had managed to create an item considered the pinnacle of spellcasting diums in the Wizards’ Realm.

The process of alchemy had been too smooth, and the experience in the space of anomalies too simplistic, making it seem sowhat frivolous to him.

Nevertheless, the facts were right before his eyes; there couldn’t have been an error.

After much deliberation, Angel conjectured that perhaps this was the difference between synthesis and alchemy? Synthesis was simply the integration of the Fire Transmission Stone fragnts, with little alchemic contribution, which would explain why the anomaly was so simple?

Angel could only think of this explanation. According to his understanding of the space of anomalies, this might well be the truth.

Angel intended to test the effects of the Fire Transmission Stone, but at this mont, he perceived an imnsely terrifying energy reaction outside the door.

Angel hesitated for a mont, then, holding the Fire Transmission Stone, opened the door.

As the door opened, he saw Odeclass standing outside. Hair red as silk ribbons fluttered amidst the snow, dancing like flas in the wind.

Odeclass did not look at Angel but focused directly on the object in his palm.

The crimson stone, despite not emitting any energy feedback, mysteriously captivated Odeclass.

Only when Angel respectfully greeted him did Odeclass slowly turn his gaze to Angel, “Did the transmutation succeed?”

Although Odeclass struggled to maintain his pride, his voice, deeper and hoarser than usual, betrayed his inner emotions.

“Why don’t you put it to the test?” Angel didn’t specify success or failure. Although the feedback from the Eye of Nalda was genuine, he still couldn’t help feeling a bit apprehensive. Opting for an ambiguous response, success in the test would be naturally good; if there were indeed issues, he would have so room to maneuver.

Looking at the crimson stone handed to him by Angel, Odeclass’s eyes betrayed an uncontrollable excitent.

He cautiously took it over, inspected it closely for a mont, then nodded to Angel, “Follow .”

Angel felt a gust of wind and snow before he could even blink, and the scene around him changed, bringing him to a lengthy dark corridor.

At the end of the corridor, there was a faint red glow.

Odeclass walked ahead with Angel closely following. As they delved deeper into the corridor, a wave of heat rushed over from the front.

It was only when they arrived at the end that Angel realized this place was actually a Fire Crystal Mine.

Deep red Fire Crystals spanned the mine, with the red light shining onto the crystal facets, refracting splendid rays that brightened up the space as if it were dayti.

Fire Crystals are an interdiate-ranked fire material, quite valuable. Logically, they should be found in areas with active fire elents — how could they appear here? Perhaps, this place was outside the Ice Valley?

“This is beneath the Ice Valley,” Odeclass said indifferently, likely catching the puzzled look in Angel’s eyes.

In the depths of the blustery Ice Valley lay this bountiful Fire Crystal Mine? Angel felt montarily bewildered.

No one could have imagined that beneath the howling winds of the Ice Valley, a rich deposit of Fire Crystals could exist!

Odeclass led Angel through the Fire Crystal Mine to the central area, where the distribution of the crystals was sparser but the space seed much more open, and the air carried an active presence of fire elents.

However, Angel vaguely sensed an aura of frost as well, similar to the sensation given off by Odeclass.

Observing this vast expanse, Angel speculated: Could this be where Odeclass’s true form usually resided?

Angel’s guess was right on the mark.

To delay the encroachnt of frost upon him, Odeclass, once reverted to his true form, typically stayed here, thus endowing the place with a touch of frost.

Odeclass was a Fla Abyssal Dragon, and if it weren’t for the Fire Crystal Mine here, he probably wouldn’t have lasted this long.

To test the Fire Transmission Stone, this was also the best place. After all, in the Ice Crystal Palace, if a problem arose, it might lead to the collapse of the palace.

In the midst of the snowstorm, the Fire Transmission Stone’s performance would be suppressed, which is why Odeclass had brought Angel here to test it. At the sa ti, the fire energy here could test the self-restoration function of the Fire Transmission Stone.

During the test, Angel retreated to the edge.

Odeclass slowly activated the Fire Transmission Stone, and as a red light flashed, a terrifying amount of fire energy was released from the stone.

In an instant, countless red lights turned into phantom shadows of flas that swept across the entire space.

These flas weren’t real; they were simply an energy manifestation of the Fire Transmission Stone, extrely pure fire elents that could be used as reserve power for casting fire Spell Techniques if given to a Wizard specialized in fire.

And now, these terrifying fire energies were being absorbed by Odeclass, little by little.

At first, Odeclass kept his eyes closed, slowly devouring these fire energies. Previously, he could only rely on the low-grade and impure fire energy from the Fire Crystal Mine to barely maintain the Prival Fla within him; but the fire energy released by the Fire Transmission Stone was not only high-rank but also free from impurities and could be directly absorbed into his body.

The long-dried Prival Fla within Odeclass was voraciously transforming these fire energies and yearning for even more flas.

In the end, Odeclass abandoned all pretense of restraint and fully indulged in this feast of flas!

Odeclass restored his dragon form, and his entire body was enveloped by the energy released from the Fire Transmission Stone, as if he was soaking in an ocean of fire.

This comfort made Odeclass’s mind even conjure up the world from the legends, afla with the blazing Prival Fla.

Angel stood by, silently waiting.

By now, with the scent of flas perating the air, Angel was quite certain that the Fire Transmission Stone was indeed successful.

The apprehension in his heart finally subsided.

Two hours later, a very satisfied Odeclass transford back into human form, placed the Fire Transmission Stone in the Fire Crystal Mine to absorb and purify Fire Elents, and then took Angel back to the Ice Crystal Palace.

Odeclass stood beneath the mural and didn’t speak imdiately, but instead looked at Angel with a gaze full of profound aning.

Angel’s performance had exceeded his expectations.

If Popota was to him an insignificant human, then Angel, prior to this, was just a step above “insignificant”, a slightly interesting human.

But after this incident, Angel’s status in Odeclass’s heart soared dramatically.

Almost on par with Feng.

If Feng’s painting offered the possibility of Binaqionse’s resurrection, Angel’s Fire Transmission Stone gave Odeclass a further opportunity.

After a long while, Odeclass finally withdrew his gaze and said to Angel indifferently, “You did well, you kept your promise.”

After a pause, Odeclass continued with a serious tone, “Human, you may have my friendship.”

Angel bowed slightly, “It is my honor.”

Before this, Angel had learned from Fafnir that Odeclass had once declared: whoever brought him a complete Fire Transmission Stone would gain his friendship.

However, the Fire Transmission Stone was so rare that the promise had only been fulfilled with the arrival of Angel.

Hence, Angel was not surprised by Odeclass’s statent.

In any case, gaining the friendship of an Abyssal Dragon ant a lot to Angel. But more than a re nominal friendship, what Angel actually cared about more was—

“Lord Odeclass, about the curse that Toby has contracted…”

Odeclass nodded, “Of course, I haven’t forgotten, but to remove the Calamity Curse, I need to wait until my strength has recovered to a certain level.”

Odeclass briefly explained his situation.

Only then did Angel understand that Odeclass’s initial reluctance to remove Toby’s curse without finding the Fire Transmission Stone was not without reason.

Odeclass’s strength had been compromised due to years in the Ice Valley. He needed to recover to a certain level before he could lift the Calamity Curse.

Previously, Odeclass didn’t want to and couldn’t be bothered to explain these nuances. Now that he was offering Angel his friendship, he did not hesitate to share these intricacies with him.

Angel could sense that although Odeclass’s expression remained unchanged, the previous alienation and aloofness when facing him were gradually disappearing.

“I understand, may I know how long it would take?”
