Chapter 1260: Section 1261 Fading Out

The shock that resonated throughout the scene not only failed to fade over ti but grew even more intense.

What started as rustles of conversation soon escalated into a clamorous din, with everyone busily engaged in discussion. For a ti, the Spirit Tree Hall was noisier than a secular marketplace.

While they were ardently debating and expressing their views, Angel was montarily overlooked.

During his ti in Lassudral, perhaps borrowing Fafnir’s influence, he might have played a certain role amidst that startling change. However, as for the matter of the fall of the Lord of the Flaless, given Angel’s power, he could not possibly get involved.

Angel listened to the surrounding tumultuous voices, his gaze slightly narrowed, finally allowing his taut nerves to relax.

As their discussion progressed, his role was gradually diminished, which was his intention all along.

...

However, the noise grew so loud that even the Tree Spirit found it botherso. With a thought, all the wizards who had turned their attention this way felt a sudden jolt in their minds.

When they looked back to the Spirit Tree Hall, they saw Wallace saying indifferently, “What’s there to debate? Frostmoon’s business doesn’t much concern us from the Barbarian Cave. As for the fall of the True Spirit of the Lord of the Flaless, the specifics will beco clear in ti… Besides, do you really think you can profit from the fall of a Demon God’s True Spirit?”

Wallace’s words instantly silenced everyone.

Indeed, the shock they felt was due to the fall of the True Spirit, but upon reflection, was it really related to them?

After Wallace’s statent, his gaze shifted toward Angel. “More than the fall of the Demon God’s True Spirit, what I’m actually more curious about is, you just said you earned the friendship of that Abyssal Dragon from Ice Valley?”

Angel nodded; this was sothing Sanders had told him he must reveal.

Because he wanted to invert the order of cause and effect, making others, especially those from Frostmoon, believe that he could escape from Popota’s bindings, he certainly needed a powerful backing. And Odeclass was the pri choice.

Wallace looked deeply at Angel, taking in every word and subtle expression.

He was certain Angel was hiding sothing.

But he was also sure that what Angel said was indeed true.

“You said earlier that Odeclass gave you a task to help him refine the Fire Transmission Stone. Did you earn his friendship because you managed to refine it?” Wallace asked.

This question made all the wizards who were paying attention here slap their foreheads. They couldn’t benefit from the fall of a True Spirit, but if Angel could refine the Fire Transmission Stone, that could an real profit!

You see, the Fire Transmission Stone is a legendary treasure. Especially since wizards delving in the Abyss would more or less co across fragnts of the Fire Transmission Stone, which, though little use to them, allowed them to deduce the power of the full stone.

Moreover, there are nurous ancient records of it. It’s safe to say that the Fire Transmission Stone is a treasure that all fire-affiliated wizards desire; even those who are not fire-aligned can greatly benefit from it if they practice fire Spell Techniques.

All eyes turned to Angel, awaiting his response.

Angel nodded, “I have refined it.”

As he confird this, the atmosphere once again seed to sizzle with anticipation. Just as the Spirit Tree Hall was about to turn into a marketplace again, a single sentence from Wallace instantly hushed the fervor.

“So you’re saying, you can still refine it?” Wallace looked at Angel, well aware that the wizards watching were eager to ask this question. As an Academy Faction wizard, Wallace himself was keen to study this mythical treasure, even if the Fire Transmission Stone might not enhance him as much as he had imagined.

“I can,” Angel nodded once more, and just as the mood was about to reignite, he continued, “However, the main material for refining the Fire Transmission Stone is difficult to obtain and irreplaceable. For example, the White Ash Fire Solvent, which must be slted with Hell’s Quiet Fla is one such essential item. If Lord Wallace can find the materials, I can refine it for you.”

Everyone was montarily stunned, the majority unaware of Alchemy or what White Ash Fire Solvent was. But Hell’s Quiet Fla, they knew of that.

The only creature currently confird to possess Hell’s Quiet Fla was the Fire Transmission Demon!

In other words, to obtain this key material for the Fire Transmission Stone, you’d at least need a Fire Transmission Demon to willingly help you slt the White Ash Fire Solvent.

The difficulty of obtaining this was unimaginably high! With even immature Fire Transmission Demons being at least True Knowledge Level and above, known for their stubbornness and fearlessness, convincing them to help concoct White Ash Fire Solvent was nearly impossible.

“How did you manage to obtain it then?” Wallace’s question was barely out when he noticed Angel giving him a strange look.

Not only Angel, but even the Tree Spirit frowned. “Have you developed a problem with your brain from all that research?”

Wallace was taken aback, then it dawned on him that since Odeclass sent Angel to find the Night Patron, it must have been the Night Patron who helped him refine it.

Wallace coughed and continued, “What I ant is, since you’ve earned Odeclass’s friendship, would it be possible for him to help you acquire this main material again?”

Wallace’s remarks once again earned him a few odd glances.

Sanders sneered, “What you an is, have the Night Patron, who has just risen to beco the Monarch of Fire, help Angel slt the White Ash Fire Solvent again?”

Sanders intentionally emphasized “Monarch of Fire,” causing Wallace to imdiately fall silent.

“`

Who has the capability to make a Demon Lord concoct the White Ash Fire Solvent, wouldn’t need any Fire Transmission Stone at all.

Angel continued, “The White Ash Fire Solvent concocted with Infernal Ghost Fire is only one of the main materials. There are other irreplaceable main materials that are not easy to obtain. If Lord Wallace is truly interested in concocting it, he may inquire privately with .”

Angel’s words were very straightforward, leaving no room for ambiguity. Everyone understood that he was not lying.

It makes sense when you think about it, why so far only Fire Transmission Demons are able to produce Fire Transmission Stones, it must be because they play an indispensable role in the concoction process. And the reason why there are so few Fire Transmission Stones in circulation, as Angel ntioned later, must be because the other main materials are also very rare, maybe even hard for the Fire Transmission Demon to obtain, which explains it.

After learning this information, the excited mood of the crowd also gradually subsided.

They were all too aware of their own strength and the barrier that Angel set with the “White Ash Fire Solvent concocted with Infernal Ghost Fire,” which they simply couldn’t et.

Not to ntion anything else, to obtain the “White Ash Fire Solvent,” one must at least be able to defeat a Fire Transmission Demon, right? But those present who could be confident in their ability to defeat a Fire Transmission Demon were probably only Sanders and the Tree Spirit who had lived for an untold number of years.

As for the Fire Transmission Stones, everyone knew they were out of the question.

However, whether or not he could gather the materials, the fact that Angel could concoct Fire Transmission Stones was enough to cause a stir in the Southern Domain.

Perhaps, he is the only human who has obtained the thod of concocting Fire Transmission Stones!

In the Alchemy World, it’s already foreseeable that this is definitely big news.

This also proved Angel’s greatness in the art of Alchemy, even being able to gain the friendship of an Abyssal Dragon like Odeclass through his Alchemy skills.

In this mont, the value of Angel as an individual was fully realized.

So may have been dissatisfied with Angel being brought into Rhein’s core circle, but at this ti, they had nothing but admiration.

“Although the Fire Transmission Stones cannot be concocted, the possibility of gaining Odeclass’s friendship offers a lot of potential,” the Tree Spirit said with a beaming smile at this mont.

The crowd had, in fact, already begun to think about the benefits of this; they were very clear about how advantageous it is to have the friendship of a powerful being from the Abyss.

There might even be a chance to break through the siege of Abyss outposts by the major Witcher Organizations.

But although this was their thought, no one ntioned it aloud. They also understood that to break through the Witcher Organization’s blockade of the Abyss, this “friendship” needed to reach a very deep level.

And the specific level of friendship between Angel and Odeclass, they did not know and it was not appropriate to ask.

But it was foreseeable that the greatest beneficiary of this matter would definitely be the lineage of Illusion Demon Island.

This caused a pang in Wallace’s heart, who had always disliked Sanders. Angel’s temperant had always been “Academy Faction”; he should have entered the White Gull Academy, but Sanders had intercepted him midway.

Upon this thought, Wallace gave Angel a pained look, “The doors of White Gull Academy will always be open for you.”

This abrupt statent left Angel utterly confused: What’s this again?

The necessary notifications had been made, and the matters that needed to be explained were also dealt with; things should have co to an end. But at this mont, a voice with a bit of an odd tone suddenly asked, “What about the Prival Fla?”

With that question, all eyes sharpened, including Wallace, who wanted to scold the other for being out of line but hesitated.

When Angel narrated the events of Lassudral, there were two unavoidable points: Aoluxiya and the Prival Fla.

Leaving Aoluxiya aside for now, they hadn’t forgotten about the Prival Fla. However, they were well aware that they had no standing to inquire about the matter of the Prival Fla. Besides, the Prival Fla didn’t have much to do with what Angel had talked about.

Still, since soone had brought it up, they were also curious to see how Angel would respond.

“The Prival Fla is with .”

The speaker was not Angel. It was Sanders, who had been standing in the background and had hardly spoken at all. He raised an eyebrow and said, “What’s this, Sichelding? You’re interested in the Prival Fla too?”

After a long pause, that odd voice responded, “I’m just a bit curious.”

“The Prival Fla doesn’t have much bearing on the whole matter. Whether Angel wishes to talk about it is up to him. But it’s odd that you’re asking,” Sanders chuckled coldly, unsure of Sichelding’s intentions, but his sudden question turned the focus back to Angel.

The value of the Prival Fla was no less than that of the Fire Transmission Stone, if not greater.

It was also thanks to Sanders being present, otherwise Angel’s hesitation in response to Sichelding’s words might have led the audience to wild speculations. The repercussions it would have caused would not have been minor.

One could say that Sichelding’s question was either thoughtless or had an ulterior motive.
