Chapter 1520: Section 1521 Ashliea Comprehensive College Chapter 1520: Section 1521 Ashliea Comprehensive College The main city area at the front of Sky chanical City is now open to the public and serves as a hub for Southern Domain trade.
The back of Sky chanical City, although not completely barring outsiders, is essentially no different from an ordinary Witcher Organization.
Here too, there are Task Halls, chanical Libraries, Research and Developnt Institutes… etc. At the sa ti, there is also a Comprehensive College that does not prohibit outsiders from studying, known as Ashiliye.
Angel is currently in Ashiliye Comprehensive College.
He will be teaching here soon, so he ca over today mainly to do so basic registration and to check out the environnt.
After having a general interaction with Ashiliye, Angel gained a deeper understanding of the Comprehensive College.
Although it’s called a “Comprehensive” college, in reality, it mainly teaches Alchemy. However, as ntioned by Midora before, there are also courses like those given by the Mushroom Witch, which specialize in mushroom processing.
Of course, the likes of the Mushroom Witch are few.
It’s called a “Comprehensive” College because the first principal, who was also the forr head of the Research and Developnt Institute, Ashiliye, hoped it could beco a comprehensive type of college when establishing it.
However, due to the overbearing nature of Alchemy in Sky chanical City, it has essentially beco an Alchemy College.
After delving deeper, Angel felt that it wouldn’t be a bad idea to rena it as an Alchemy College. After all, alchemy dominates here, and “comprehensive” covers too much. As a college na, it might not be strong enough to hold its ground.
Just like when ntioning the Gourt Sorcerer, people think of Candy House. When talking about an Ocean Mage, people instinctively think of Song of the Deep Sea.
The reason Sky chanical City has beco a coveted place for Alchemists is partly due to the Research and Developnt Institute, with the existence of Ashiliye College playing a part too.
A Comprehensive College might seem to encompass a lot, but that does not necessarily an it’s better.
Hence, even though it’s nad “Ashiliye Comprehensive College”, the Wizards’ Realm of the Southern Domain essentially sees it as an Alchemy College.
Ashiliye College, although established in Sky chanical City, does not prohibit Alchemists from other Witcher Organizations to co and further their studies. Angel saw many Alchemists here; in fact, half of them are from other Witcher Organizations.
Alchemists not from Sky chanical City who co to study need to sign so special agreents. These agreents do not restrict personal freedom but include so confidentiality clauses, as well as the cost of studying here, which can be considered as tuition… However, typically, the tuition is not Magic Crystals but involves accepting so refinent tasks during the study period.
However, there is an exception for certain Alchemists. That is, Alchemists from Witcher Organizations with Research and Developnt Institute mbers do not need to sign such agreents to co here to study.
In other words, Angel becoming a mber of the Research and Developnt Institute is actually a boon for the entire Barbarian Cave, especially for Alchemists.
As for why Ashiliye College set up such a policy, Angel did not ponder deeply, but it likely involves considerations of goodwill, wisdom, and a sense of belonging.
Thanks to Antonio’s guidance, Angel quickly finished the preparations for his classes, and Ashiliye’s current vice-principal, Sherry, was very pleased and excited about Angel teaching.
After all, as a new mber of the Research and Developnt Institute, Angel had a reputation, yet he was also shrouded in mystery.
Teaching here would inevitably draw the attention of the Alchemy Circle.
Regarding the content of Angel’s classes, he could let himself go, but since it’s his first lecture, he still chose to go with sothing he was familiar with—Enchantnt.
As to which specific type of Enchantnt he would teach, Angel didn’t say.
To avoid clashing with the Water Pattern Witch’s classes, Angel chose to start teaching one week later, following the suggestion of Vice-Principal Sherry.
After registering all this, Angel left Ashiliye.
Three days passed in a flash.
During these three days, Angel spent most of his ti dealing with Shapeshifting Technique matters and occasionally visited Fangling Hall.
On that day, though Nausicaa’s advancent competition took a long ti, she didn’t actually suffer much harm, except for her chanical arm. Initially, Nausicaa thought she might have to fight one-ard in the following elimination battles, but since Angel had returned, he naturally repaired the damage to the chanical arm with ease.
Nausicaa was sowhat surprised by Angel’s advancent, but she was much calr compared to Serum.
Nausicaa simply remarked, “Although I knew it was only a matter of ti before you’d step into the Wizards’ Realm before us, I didn’t expect that day to co so soon.”
Nausicaa blessed Angel for his achievent, and at the sa ti, set stricter demands for herself.
Or rather, because of Angel’s advancent, both Nausicaa and Serum felt a sense of urgency and intensified their training.
Actually, this could also be considered a form of alternative motivation.
When Angel officially appeared in the new star competition, this sense of urgency would probably not just affect Nausicaa and the others, but all their peers, and even those who were once more powerful than Angel but were still apprentices, would likely start to give it their all.
Both Nausicaa and Serum had already secured qualifications for new stars. What remained were Shan, Xiliu, and David.
With three days left until the new star competition preliminaries would end, Shan had beco very anxious these days, losing several matches and getting further away from the thirtieth floor. Not reaching the thirtieth floor ant her points had not started tallying, and even if she reached the thirtieth floor in these three days, accumulating 100 points would be difficult unless she fought more than 10 battles a day with a winning rate of at least eighty percent.
So, Shan was basically out of the running.
Xiliu, on the other hand, still had a chance, as she had already scored 68 points and was not far from 100.
Moreover, Xiliu herself said that for the upcoming matches, she would start using dicine to suppress her drowsiness.
Xiliu’s matches were usually lost to her overwhelming sleepiness. Once she had no drowsiness in the arena, her chances of advancing should be quite high.
David also had a high chance of advancing, according to what Serum said, David should be able to reach 100 points within the next two days.
As long as he passed the advancent competition, he would also be able to gain the new star qualification.
Apart from caring for his friends, Angel was also very concerned about his brother Lyon’s matches.
In these three days, Lyon only fought two battles. Although he gained the most experience comparatively, regretfully, he lost both battles.
Lyon set a goal for himself, to reach the second floor of the Sky Tower before the start of the new stars’ elimination round.
For this, after Nausicaa’s chanical arm was repaired, she conducted devilish training with Lyon.
Lyon was tough on himself as well. Not only did he train during the day, but exhausted at night, he would still go to Originheart City to seek out Sir Sabel for further training. Although the training in the Wilderness of Dreams was unlikely to quickly improve his muscle strength, it did enhance his combat experience and understanding of techniques.
…
On this day, after Angel had spent the whole day researching the application of auxiliary materials required for the Transformation Technique, he planned to rest for a while and casually consider the content of his upcoming lecture.
However, before he could settle down and ponder, he heard Sanders’ telepathic ssage.
The content of the ssage was simple: People from the Barbarian Cave have arrived.
Angel was startled for a mont, then putting down his handbook, he walked out of his room.
As he arrived in the hall, he was imdiately stared at by several pairs of eyes—curious, admiring, as well as doubtful and exploring.
Angel glanced over.
Just as Sanders had said, they were people from the Barbarian Cave, including so whom Angel was very familiar with.
For instance, the witch who was currently leaning against the window and chatting cheerfully with Greya, who was sunbathing outside—”Rose Crown” Lianna.
Lianna was here, and naturally, David was too. He was outside the hall, poking his freckled face through the curtains and making a funny face at Angel.
